Surah Al-Hijr The Rock

۞ الۤرۚ alr

تِلۡكَ tilka

ءَایَـٰتُ 'ayaatu

ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ Alkitaabi

وَقُرۡءَانࣲ waqur'an

مُّبِینࣲ  mmubin

١

15:1   Alif Laam Ra. These (are) the Verses (of) the Book and Quran clear.

رُّبَمَا rrubama

یَوَدُّ yawaddu

ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina

كَفَرُوا۟ kafarua

لَوۡ law

كَانُوا۟ kanua

مُسۡلِمِینَ  muslimina

٢

15:2   Perhaps will wish those who disbelieved, if they had been Muslims.

ذَرۡهُمۡ dharhum

یَأۡكُلُوا۟ yaAkulua

وَیَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ wayatamatta'ua

وَیُلۡهِهِمُ wayulhihimu

ٱلۡأَمَلُۖ AlAmalu

فَسَوۡفَ fasawfa

یَعۡلَمُونَ  ya'lamuna

٣

15:3   Leave them (to) eat and enjoy and diverted them the hope, then soon they will come to know.

وَمَاۤ wamaa

أَهۡلَكۡنَا Ahlakna

مِن min

قَرۡیَةٍ qaryahin

إِلَّا Illa

وَلَهَا walaha

كِتَابࣱ kitab

مَّعۡلُومࣱ  mma'lum

٤

15:4   And not We destroyed any town but (there was) for it a decree known.

مَّا mma

تَسۡبِقُ tasbiqu

مِنۡ min

أُمَّةٍ Aummahin

أَجَلَهَا Ajalaha

وَمَا wama

یَسۡتَءۡخِرُونَ  yasta'khiruna

٥

15:5   Not (can) advance any nation its term and not (can) delay it.

وَقَالُوا۟ waqalua

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا yaayyuha

ٱلَّذِی Alladhi

نُزِّلَ nuzzila

عَلَیۡهِ 'alayhi

ٱلذِّكۡرُ Adhdhikru

إِنَّكَ Innaka

لَمَجۡنُونࣱ  lamajnun

٦

15:6   And they say, "O you (to) whom has been sent down [on him] the Reminder, indeed, you (are) surely mad.

لَّوۡ llaw

مَا ma

تَأۡتِینَا taAtina

بِٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةِ biAlmalaaikahi

إِن In

كُنتَ kunta

مِنَ mina

ٱلصَّـٰدِقِینَ  Assaadiqina

٧

15:7   Why not you bring to us the Angels, if you are of the truthful?"

مَا ma

نُنَزِّلُ nunazzilu

ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةَ Almalaaikaha

إِلَّا Illa

بِٱلۡحَقِّ biAlhaqqi

وَمَا wama

كَانُوۤا۟ kanua

إِذࣰا Idha

مُّنظَرِینَ  mmunzarina

٨

15:8   Not We send down the Angels except with the truth; and not they would be then given respite.

إِنَّا Inna

نَحۡنُ nahnu

نَزَّلۡنَا nazzalna

ٱلذِّكۡرَ Adhdhikra

وَإِنَّا waInna

لَهُۥ lahu

لَحَـٰفِظُونَ  lahaafizuna

٩

15:9   Indeed, We We have sent down the Reminder, and indeed, We of it (are) surely Guardians.

وَلَقَدۡ walaqad

أَرۡسَلۡنَا Arsalna

مِن min

قَبۡلِكَ qablika

فِی fi

شِیَعِ shiya'i

ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ  AlAwwalina

١٠

15:10   And certainly We (had) sent from before you in the sects (of) the former (people).

وَمَا wama

یَأۡتِیهِم yaAtihim

مِّن mmin

رَّسُولٍ rrasulin

إِلَّا Illa

كَانُوا۟ kanua

بِهِۦ bihi

یَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ  yastahzi'una

١١

15:11   And not came to them any Messenger but they did at him mock.

كَذَ ٰلِكَ kadhaalika

نَسۡلُكُهُۥ naslukuhu

فِی fi

قُلُوبِ qulubi

ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ  Almujrimina

١٢

15:12   Thus We let it enter in (the) hearts (of) the criminals.

لَا la

یُؤۡمِنُونَ yuuminuna

بِهِۦ bihi

وَقَدۡ waqad

خَلَتۡ khalat

سُنَّةُ sunnahu

ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ  AlAwwalina

١٣

15:13   Not they believe in it, and verily have passed the way(s) (of) the former (people).

وَلَوۡ walaw

فَتَحۡنَا fatahna

عَلَیۡهِم 'alayhim

بَابࣰا baba

مِّنَ mmina

ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ Assamaa'i

فَظَلُّوا۟ fazallua

فِیهِ fihi

یَعۡرُجُونَ  ya'rujuna

١٤

15:14   And (even) if We opened to them a gate from the heaven, and they were to continue therein (to) ascend,

لَقَالُوۤا۟ laqalua

إِنَّمَا Innama

سُكِّرَتۡ sukkirat

أَبۡصَـٰرُنَا Absaaruna

بَلۡ bal

نَحۡنُ nahnu

قَوۡمࣱ qawm

مَّسۡحُورُونَ  mmashuruna

١٥

15:15   They would surely say "Only have been dazzled our eyes. Nay, we (are) a people bewitched."

وَلَقَدۡ walaqad

جَعَلۡنَا ja'alna

فِی fi

ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ Assamaa'i

بُرُوجࣰا buruja

وَزَیَّنَّـٰهَا wazayyannaaha

لِلنَّـٰظِرِینَ  lilnnaazirina

١٦

15:16   And verily We have placed in the heavens constellations and We have beautified it for the observers.

وَحَفِظۡنَـٰهَا wahafiznaaha

مِن min

كُلِّ kulli

شَیۡطَـٰنࣲ shaytaan

رَّجِیمٍ  rrajimin

١٧

15:17   And We have protected it from every devil accursed.

إِلَّا Illa

مَنِ mani

ٱسۡتَرَقَ Istaraqa

ٱلسَّمۡعَ Assam'a

فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ faAtba'ahu

شِهَابࣱ shihab

مُّبِینࣱ  mmubin

١٨

15:18   Except (one) who steals the hearing, then follows him a burning flame clear.

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ waAlArda

مَدَدۡنَـٰهَا madadnaaha

وَأَلۡقَیۡنَا waAlqayna

فِیهَا fiha

رَوَ ٰسِیَ rawaasiya

وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا waAnbatna

فِیهَا fiha

مِن min

كُلِّ kulli

شَیۡءࣲ shay'

مَّوۡزُونࣲ  mmawzun

١٩

15:19   And the earth, We have spread it and [We] cast therein firm mountains and [We] caused to grow therein of every thing well-balanced.

وَجَعَلۡنَا waja'alna

لَكُمۡ lakum

فِیهَا fiha

مَعَـٰیِشَ ma'aayisha

وَمَن waman

لَّسۡتُمۡ llastum

لَهُۥ lahu

بِرَ ٰزِقِینَ  biraaziqina

٢٠

15:20   And We have made for you therein means of living and whom you are not for him providers.

وَإِن waIn

مِّن mmin

شَیۡءٍ shay'in

إِلَّا Illa

عِندَنَا 'indana

خَزَاۤىِٕنُهُۥ khazaainuhu

وَمَا wama

نُنَزِّلُهُۥۤ nunazziluhu

إِلَّا Illa

بِقَدَرࣲ biqadar

مَّعۡلُومࣲ  mma'lum

٢١

15:21   And not (is) any thing but with Us (are) its treasures, and not We send it down except in a measure known.

وَأَرۡسَلۡنَا waArsalna

ٱلرِّیَـٰحَ Arriyaaha

لَوَ ٰقِحَ lawaaqiha

فَأَنزَلۡنَا faAnzalna

مِنَ mina

ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ Assamaa'i

مَاۤءࣰ maa'

فَأَسۡقَیۡنَـٰكُمُوهُ faAsqaynaakumuhu

وَمَاۤ wamaa

أَنتُمۡ Antum

لَهُۥ lahu

بِخَـٰزِنِینَ  bikhaazinina

٢٢

15:22   And We have sent the winds fertilizing, and We sent down from the sky water, and We gave it to you to drink. And not you of it (are) retainers.

وَإِنَّا waInna

لَنَحۡنُ lanahnu

نُحۡیِۦ nuhyi

وَنُمِیتُ wanumitu

وَنَحۡنُ wanahnu

ٱلۡوَ ٰرِثُونَ  Alwaarithuna

٢٣

15:23   And indeed, We, surely [We] We give life and We cause death, and We (are) the Inheritors.

وَلَقَدۡ walaqad

عَلِمۡنَا 'alimna

ٱلۡمُسۡتَقۡدِمِینَ Almustaqdimina

مِنكُمۡ minkum

وَلَقَدۡ walaqad

عَلِمۡنَا 'alimna

ٱلۡمُسۡتَءۡخِرِینَ  Almusta'khirina

٢٤

15:24   And verily We know the preceding ones among you and verily, We know the later ones.

وَإِنَّ waInna

رَبَّكَ rabbaka

هُوَ huwa

یَحۡشُرُهُمۡۚ yahshuruhum

إِنَّهُۥ Innahu

حَكِیمٌ hakimun

عَلِیمࣱ  'alim

٢٥

15:25   And indeed, your Lord, He will gather them. Indeed, He (is) All-Wise, All-Knowing.

وَلَقَدۡ walaqad

خَلَقۡنَا khalaqna

ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ AlInsaana

مِن min

صَلۡصَـٰلࣲ salsaal

مِّنۡ mmin

حَمَإࣲ hamaI

مَّسۡنُونࣲ  mmasnun

٢٦

15:26   And verily, We created humankind (out) of sounding clay from black mud altered.

وَٱلۡجَاۤنَّ waAljaanna

خَلَقۡنَـٰهُ khalaqnaahu

مِن min

قَبۡلُ qablu

مِن min

نَّارِ nnari

ٱلسَّمُومِ  Assamumi

٢٧

15:27   And the jinn We created it from before from fire scorching.

وَإِذۡ waIdh

قَالَ qala

رَبُّكَ rabbuka

لِلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةِ lilmalaaikahi

إِنِّی Inni

خَـٰلِقُۢ khaaliqu

بَشَرࣰا bashara

مِّن mmin

صَلۡصَـٰلࣲ salsaal

مِّنۡ mmin

حَمَإࣲ hamaI

مَّسۡنُونࣲ  mmasnun

٢٨

15:28   And when said your Lord to the Angels, "Indeed, I (will) create a human being (out) of clay from black mud altered.

فَإِذَا faIdha

سَوَّیۡتُهُۥ sawwaytuhu

وَنَفَخۡتُ wanafakhtu

فِیهِ fihi

مِن min

رُّوحِی rruhi

فَقَعُوا۟ faqa'ua

لَهُۥ lahu

سَـٰجِدِینَ  saajidina

٢٩

15:29   So, when I have fashioned him and [I] breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down to him prostrating."

فَسَجَدَ fasajada

ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ Almalaaikahu

كُلُّهُمۡ kulluhum

أَجۡمَعُونَ  Ajma'una

٣٠

15:30   So prostrated the Angels all of them together,

إِلَّاۤ Illaa

إِبۡلِیسَ Iblisa

أَبَىٰۤ Abaa

أَن An

یَكُونَ yakuna

مَعَ ma'a

ٱلسَّـٰجِدِینَ  Assaajidina

٣١

15:31   Except Iblis. He refused to be with those who prostrated.

قَالَ qala

یَـٰۤإِبۡلِیسُ yaaIblisu

مَا ma

لَكَ laka

أَلَّا Alla

تَكُونَ takuna

مَعَ ma'a

ٱلسَّـٰجِدِینَ  Assaajidina

٣٢

15:32   He said, "O Iblis! What (is) for you that not you are with those who prostrated?"

قَالَ qala

لَمۡ lam

أَكُن Akun

لِّأَسۡجُدَ lliAsjuda

لِبَشَرٍ libasharin

خَلَقۡتَهُۥ khalaqtahu

مِن min

صَلۡصَـٰلࣲ salsaal

مِّنۡ mmin

حَمَإࣲ hamaI

مَّسۡنُونࣲ  mmasnun

٣٣

15:33   He said, "Not I am (one) to prostrate to a human whom You created, (out) of clay from black mud altered."

قَالَ qala

فَٱخۡرُجۡ faIkhruj

مِنۡهَا minha

فَإِنَّكَ faInnaka

رَجِیمࣱ  rajim

٣٤

15:34   He said, "Then get out of it, for indeed, you (are) expelled.

وَإِنَّ waInna

عَلَیۡكَ 'alayka

ٱللَّعۡنَةَ Alla'naha

إِلَىٰ Ilaa

یَوۡمِ yawmi

ٱلدِّینِ  Addini

٣٥

15:35   And indeed, upon you (will be) the curse till (the) Day (of) [the] Judgment."

قَالَ qala

رَبِّ rabbi

فَأَنظِرۡنِیۤ faAnzirni

إِلَىٰ Ilaa

یَوۡمِ yawmi

یُبۡعَثُونَ  yub'athuna

٣٦

15:36   He said, "O my Lord! Then give me respite till (the) Day they are raised."

قَالَ qala

فَإِنَّكَ faInnaka

مِنَ mina

ٱلۡمُنظَرِینَ  Almunzarina

٣٧

15:37   He said, "Then indeed you, (are) of the ones given respite.

إِلَىٰ Ilaa

یَوۡمِ yawmi

ٱلۡوَقۡتِ Alwaqti

ٱلۡمَعۡلُومِ  Alma'lumi

٣٨

15:38   Till the Day (of) the time well-known."

قَالَ qala

رَبِّ rabbi

بِمَاۤ bimaa

أَغۡوَیۡتَنِی Aghwaytani

لَأُزَیِّنَنَّ laAuzayyinanna

لَهُمۡ lahum

فِی fi

ٱلۡأَرۡضِ AlArdi

وَلَأُغۡوِیَنَّهُمۡ walaAughwiyannahum

أَجۡمَعِینَ  Ajma'ina

٣٩

15:39   He said, "My Lord! Because You misled me, surely, I will make (evil) fair-seeming to them in the earth and I will mislead them all

إِلَّا Illa

عِبَادَكَ 'ibadaka

مِنۡهُمُ minhumu

ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِینَ  Almukhlasina

٤٠

15:40   Except, Your slaves among them the ones who are sincere."

قَالَ qala

هَـٰذَا haadha

صِرَ ٰطٌ siraatun

عَلَیَّ 'alayya

مُسۡتَقِیمٌ  mustaqimun

٤١

15:41   He said, "This (is) the way to Me straight.

إِنَّ Inna

عِبَادِی 'ibadi

لَیۡسَ laysa

لَكَ laka

عَلَیۡهِمۡ 'alayhim

سُلۡطَـٰنٌ sultaanun

إِلَّا Illa

مَنِ mani

ٱتَّبَعَكَ Ittaba'aka

مِنَ mina

ٱلۡغَاوِینَ  Alghawina

٤٢

15:42   Indeed, My slaves, not you have over them any authority, except those who follow you, of the ones who go astray."

وَإِنَّ waInna

جَهَنَّمَ jahannama

لَمَوۡعِدُهُمۡ lamaw'iduhum

أَجۡمَعِینَ  Ajma'ina

٤٣

15:43   And indeed, Hell (is) surely the promised place for them all.

لَهَا laha

سَبۡعَةُ sab'ahu

أَبۡوَ ٰبࣲ Abwaab

لِّكُلِّ llikulli

بَابࣲ bab

مِّنۡهُمۡ mminhum

جُزۡءࣱ juz'

مَّقۡسُومٌ  mmaqsumun

٤٤

15:44   For it (are) seven gates, for each gate among them (is) a portion assigned.

إِنَّ Inna

ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ Almuttaqina

فِی fi

جَنَّـٰتࣲ jannaat

وَعُیُونٍ  wa'uyunin

٤٥

15:45   Indeed, the righteous (will be) in Gardens and water springs.

ٱدۡخُلُوهَا Idkhuluha

بِسَلَـٰمٍ bisalaamin

ءَامِنِینَ  'aminina

٤٦

15:46   "Enter it in peace, secure."

وَنَزَعۡنَا wanaza'na

مَا ma

فِی fi

صُدُورِهِم sudurihim

مِّنۡ mmin

غِلٍّ ghillin

إِخۡوَ ٰنًا Ikhwaanana

عَلَىٰ 'alaa

سُرُرࣲ surur

مُّتَقَـٰبِلِینَ  mmutaqaabilina

٤٧

15:47   And We (will) remove what (is) in their breasts of rancor (they will be) brothers on thrones facing each other.

لَا la

یَمَسُّهُمۡ yamassuhum

فِیهَا fiha

نَصَبࣱ nasab

وَمَا wama

هُم hum

مِّنۡهَا mminha

بِمُخۡرَجِینَ  bimukhrajina

٤٨

15:48   Not will touch them therein fatigue, and not they from it will be removed.

۞ نَبِّئۡ nabbie

عِبَادِیۤ 'ibadi

أَنِّیۤ Anni

أَنَا Ana

ٱلۡغَفُورُ Alghafuru

ٱلرَّحِیمُ  Arrahimu

٤٩

15:49   Inform My slaves that I, I am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.

وَأَنَّ waAnna

عَذَابِی 'adhabi

هُوَ huwa

ٱلۡعَذَابُ Al'adhabu

ٱلۡأَلِیمُ  AlAlimu

٥٠

15:50   And that My punishment, it (is) the punishment the most painful.

وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ wanabbiehum

عَن 'an

ضَیۡفِ dayfi

إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ  Ibraahima

٥١

15:51   And inform them about (the) guests (of) Ibrahim,

إِذۡ Idh

دَخَلُوا۟ dakhalua

عَلَیۡهِ 'alayhi

فَقَالُوا۟ faqalua

سَلَـٰمࣰا salaama

قَالَ qala

إِنَّا Inna

مِنكُمۡ minkum

وَجِلُونَ  wajiluna

٥٢

15:52   When they entered upon him and said, "Peace." He said, "Indeed, we (are) of you afraid."

قَالُوا۟ qalua

لَا la

تَوۡجَلۡ tawjal

إِنَّا Inna

نُبَشِّرُكَ nubashshiruka

بِغُلَـٰمٍ bighulaamin

عَلِیمࣲ  'alim

٥٣

15:53   They said, "(Do) not be afraid, indeed, we [we] bring glad tidings to you of a boy learned."

قَالَ qala

أَبَشَّرۡتُمُونِی Abashshartumuni

عَلَىٰۤ 'alaa

أَن An

مَّسَّنِیَ mmassaniya

ٱلۡكِبَرُ Alkibaru

فَبِمَ fabima

تُبَشِّرُونَ  tubashshiruna

٥٤

15:54   He said, "Do you give glad tidings on (me) although has overtaken me old age? Then about what you give glad tidings?"

قَالُوا۟ qalua

بَشَّرۡنَـٰكَ bashsharnaaka

بِٱلۡحَقِّ biAlhaqqi

فَلَا fala

تَكُن takun

مِّنَ mmina

ٱلۡقَـٰنِطِینَ  Alqaanitina

٥٥

15:55   They said, "We give you glad tidings in truth, so (do) not be of the despairing."

قَالَ qala

وَمَن waman

یَقۡنَطُ yaqnatu

مِن min

رَّحۡمَةِ rrahmahi

رَبِّهِۦۤ rabbihi

إِلَّا Illa

ٱلضَّاۤلُّونَ  Addaalluna

٥٦

15:56   He said, "And who despairs of (the) Mercy (of) his Lord except those who are astray."

قَالَ qala

فَمَا fama

خَطۡبُكُمۡ khatbukum

أَیُّهَا Ayyuha

ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ  Almursaluna

٥٧

15:57   He said, "Then what (is) your business, O messengers?"

قَالُوۤا۟ qalua

إِنَّاۤ Innaa

أُرۡسِلۡنَاۤ Aursilnaa

إِلَىٰ Ilaa

قَوۡمࣲ qawm

مُّجۡرِمِینَ  mmujrimina

٥٨

15:58   They said, "Indeed, we [we] have been sent to a people - criminals,

إِلَّاۤ Illaa

ءَالَ 'ala

لُوطٍ lutin

إِنَّا Inna

لَمُنَجُّوهُمۡ lamunajjuhum

أَجۡمَعِینَ  Ajma'ina

٥٩

15:59   Except the family of Lut; indeed, we surely will save them all

إِلَّا Illa

ٱمۡرَأَتَهُۥ ImraAtahu

قَدَّرۡنَاۤ qaddarnaa

إِنَّهَا Innaha

لَمِنَ lamina

ٱلۡغَـٰبِرِینَ  Alghaabirina

٦٠

15:60   Except his wife." We have decreed that she (is) surely of those who remain behind.

فَلَمَّا falamma

جَاۤءَ jaa'a

ءَالَ 'ala

لُوطٍ lutin

ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ  Almursaluna

٦١

15:61   And when came (to the) family (of) Lut the messengers,

قَالَ qala

إِنَّكُمۡ Innakum

قَوۡمࣱ qawm

مُّنكَرُونَ  mmunkaruna

٦٢

15:62   He said, "Indeed, you (are) a people unknown."

قَالُوا۟ qalua

بَلۡ bal

جِئۡنَـٰكَ jienaaka

بِمَا bima

كَانُوا۟ kanua

فِیهِ fihi

یَمۡتَرُونَ  yamtaruna

٦٣

15:63   They said, "Nay, we have come to you with what they were in it disputing,

وَأَتَیۡنَـٰكَ waAtaynaaka

بِٱلۡحَقِّ biAlhaqqi

وَإِنَّا waInna

لَصَـٰدِقُونَ  lasaadiquna

٦٤

15:64   And we have come to you with the truth, and indeed, we surely (are) truthful.

فَأَسۡرِ faAsri

بِأَهۡلِكَ biAhlika

بِقِطۡعࣲ biqit'

مِّنَ mmina

ٱلَّیۡلِ Allayli

وَٱتَّبِعۡ waIttabi'

أَدۡبَـٰرَهُمۡ Adbaarahum

وَلَا wala

یَلۡتَفِتۡ yaltafit

مِنكُمۡ minkum

أَحَدࣱ Ahad

وَٱمۡضُوا۟ waImdua

حَیۡثُ haythu

تُؤۡمَرُونَ  tuumaruna

٦٥

15:65   So travel with your family in a portion of the night and follow their backs, and not let look back among you anyone, and go on where you are ordered."

وَقَضَیۡنَاۤ waqadaynaa

إِلَیۡهِ Ilayhi

ذَ ٰلِكَ dhaalika

ٱلۡأَمۡرَ AlAmra

أَنَّ Anna

دَابِرَ dabira

هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ haauulaa'i

مَقۡطُوعࣱ maqtu'

مُّصۡبِحِینَ  mmusbihina

٦٦

15:66   And We conveyed to him [that] the matter that (the) root (of) these would be cut off (by) early morning.

وَجَاۤءَ wajaa'a

أَهۡلُ Ahlu

ٱلۡمَدِینَةِ Almadinahi

یَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ  yastabshiruna

٦٧

15:67   And came (the) people (of) the city, rejoicing.

قَالَ qala

إِنَّ Inna

هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ haauulaa'i

ضَیۡفِی dayfi

فَلَا fala

تَفۡضَحُونِ  tafdahuni

٦٨

15:68   He said, "Indeed, these (are) my guests, so (do) not shame me.

وَٱتَّقُوا۟ waIttaqua

ٱللَّهَ Allaha

وَلَا wala

تُخۡزُونِ  tukhzuni

٦٩

15:69   And fear Allah, and (do) not disgrace me."

قَالُوۤا۟ qalua

أَوَ Awa

لَمۡ lam

نَنۡهَكَ nanhaka

عَنِ 'ani

ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ  Al'aalamina

٧٠

15:70   They said, "Did not we forbid you from the world?"

قَالَ qala

هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ haauulaa'i

بَنَاتِیۤ banati

إِن In

كُنتُمۡ kuntum

فَـٰعِلِینَ  faa'ilina

٧١

15:71   He said, "These (are) my daughters if you would be doers."

لَعَمۡرُكَ la'amruka

إِنَّهُمۡ Innahum

لَفِی lafi

سَكۡرَتِهِمۡ sakratihim

یَعۡمَهُونَ  ya'mahuna

٧٢

15:72   By your life indeed, they were in their intoxication, wandering blindly.

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ faAkhadhathumu

ٱلصَّیۡحَةُ Assayhahu

مُشۡرِقِینَ  mushriqina

٧٣

15:73   So, seized them the awful cry at sunrise.

فَجَعَلۡنَا faja'alna

عَـٰلِیَهَا 'aaliyaha

سَافِلَهَا safilaha

وَأَمۡطَرۡنَا waAmtarna

عَلَیۡهِمۡ 'alayhim

حِجَارَةࣰ hijarah

مِّن mmin

سِجِّیلٍ  sijjilin

٧٤

15:74   And We made its highest (part) its lowest, and We rained upon them stones of baked clay.

إِنَّ Inna

فِی fi

ذَ ٰلِكَ dhaalika

لَءَایَـٰتࣲ la'ayaat

لِّلۡمُتَوَسِّمِینَ  llilmutawassimina

٧٥

15:75   Indeed, in that (are) the Signs for those who discern.

وَإِنَّهَا waInnaha

لَبِسَبِیلࣲ labisabil

مُّقِیمٍ  mmuqimin

٧٦

15:76   And indeed, it (is) on a road established.

إِنَّ Inna

فِی fi

ذَ ٰلِكَ dhaalika

لَءَایَةࣰ la'ayah

لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ  llilmuuminina

٧٧

15:77   Indeed, in that surely (is) a Sign for the believers.

وَإِن waIn

كَانَ kana

أَصۡحَـٰبُ Ashaabu

ٱلۡأَیۡكَةِ AlAykahi

لَظَـٰلِمِینَ  lazaalimina

٧٨

15:78   And indeed were (the) companions (of) the wood surely wrongdoers.

فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا faIntaqamna

مِنۡهُمۡ minhum

وَإِنَّهُمَا waInnahuma

لَبِإِمَامࣲ labiImam

مُّبِینࣲ  mmubin

٧٩

15:79   So We took retribution from them, and indeed, they both (were) on a highway clear.

وَلَقَدۡ walaqad

كَذَّبَ kadhdhaba

أَصۡحَـٰبُ Ashaabu

ٱلۡحِجۡرِ Alhijri

ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِینَ  Almursalina

٨٠

15:80   And certainly denied (the) companions (of) the Rocky Tract, the Messengers.

وَءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمۡ wa'ataynaahum

ءَایَـٰتِنَا 'ayaatina

فَكَانُوا۟ fakanua

عَنۡهَا 'anha

مُعۡرِضِینَ  mu'ridina

٨١

15:81   And We gave them Our Signs, but they were from them turning away.

وَكَانُوا۟ wakanua

یَنۡحِتُونَ yanhituna

مِنَ mina

ٱلۡجِبَالِ Aljibali

بُیُوتًا buyutana

ءَامِنِینَ  'aminina

٨٢

15:82   And they used (to) carve from the mountains, houses, secure.

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ faAkhadhathumu

ٱلصَّیۡحَةُ Assayhahu

مُصۡبِحِینَ  musbihina

٨٣

15:83   But seized them the awful cry (at) early morning,

فَمَاۤ famaa

أَغۡنَىٰ Aghnaa

عَنۡهُم 'anhum

مَّا mma

كَانُوا۟ kanua

یَكۡسِبُونَ  yaksibuna

٨٤

15:84   And not availed them what they used (to) earn.

وَمَا wama

خَلَقۡنَا khalaqna

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ Assamaawaati

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ waAlArda

وَمَا wama

بَیۡنَهُمَاۤ baynahumaa

إِلَّا Illa

بِٱلۡحَقِّۗ biAlhaqqi

وَإِنَّ waInna

ٱلسَّاعَةَ Assa'aha

لَءَاتِیَةࣱۖ la'atiyah

فَٱصۡفَحِ faIsfahi

ٱلصَّفۡحَ Assafha

ٱلۡجَمِیلَ  Aljamila

٨٥

15:85   And not We created the heavens and the earth and whatever (is) between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour (is) surely coming. So overlook (with) forgiveness gracious.

إِنَّ Inna

رَبَّكَ rabbaka

هُوَ huwa

ٱلۡخَلَّـٰقُ Alkhallaaqu

ٱلۡعَلِیمُ  Al'alimu

٨٦

15:86   Indeed, your Lord, He (is) the Creator the All-Knower.

وَلَقَدۡ walaqad

ءَاتَیۡنَـٰكَ 'ataynaaka

سَبۡعࣰا sab'a

مِّنَ mmina

ٱلۡمَثَانِی Almathani

وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ waAlqur'ana

ٱلۡعَظِیمَ  Al'azima

٨٧

15:87   And certainly, We have given you seven of the oft-repeated and the Quran Great.

لَا la

تَمُدَّنَّ tamuddanna

عَیۡنَیۡكَ 'aynayka

إِلَىٰ Ilaa

مَا ma

مَتَّعۡنَا matta'na

بِهِۦۤ bihi

أَزۡوَ ٰجࣰا Azwaaja

مِّنۡهُمۡ mminhum

وَلَا wala

تَحۡزَنۡ tahzan

عَلَیۡهِمۡ 'alayhim

وَٱخۡفِضۡ waIkhfid

جَنَاحَكَ janahaka

لِلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ  lilmuuminina

٨٨

15:88   (Do) not extend your eyes towards what We have bestowed with it (to) categories of them and (do) not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers.

وَقُلۡ waqul

إِنِّیۤ Inni

أَنَا Ana

ٱلنَّذِیرُ Annadhiru

ٱلۡمُبِینُ  Almubinu

٨٩

15:89   And say, "Indeed, I [I] am a warner clear."

كَمَاۤ kamaa

أَنزَلۡنَا Anzalna

عَلَى 'alaa

ٱلۡمُقۡتَسِمِینَ  Almuqtasimina

٩٠

15:90   As We sent down on those who divided.

ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina

جَعَلُوا۟ ja'alua

ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ Alqur'ana

عِضِینَ  'idina

٩١

15:91   Those who have made the Quran (in) parts.

فَوَرَبِّكَ fawarabbika

لَنَسۡءَلَنَّهُمۡ lanas'alannahum

أَجۡمَعِینَ  Ajma'ina

٩٢

15:92   So by your Lord, surely We will question them all

عَمَّا 'amma

كَانُوا۟ kanua

یَعۡمَلُونَ  ya'maluna

٩٣

15:93   About what they used (to) do.

فَٱصۡدَعۡ faIsda'

بِمَا bima

تُؤۡمَرُ tuumaru

وَأَعۡرِضۡ waA'rid

عَنِ 'ani

ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ  Almushrikina

٩٤

15:94   So proclaim of what you are ordered and turn away from the polytheists.

إِنَّا Inna

كَفَیۡنَـٰكَ kafaynaaka

ٱلۡمُسۡتَهۡزِءِینَ  Almustahzi'ina

٩٥

15:95   Indeed, We [We] are sufficient for you (against) the mockers

ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina

یَجۡعَلُونَ yaj'aluna

مَعَ ma'a

ٱللَّهِ Allahi

إِلَـٰهًا Ilaahana

ءَاخَرَۚ 'akhara

فَسَوۡفَ fasawfa

یَعۡلَمُونَ  ya'lamuna

٩٦

15:96   Those who set up with Allah god another. But soon they will come to know.

وَلَقَدۡ walaqad

نَعۡلَمُ na'lamu

أَنَّكَ Annaka

یَضِیقُ yadiqu

صَدۡرُكَ sadruka

بِمَا bima

یَقُولُونَ  yaquluna

٩٧

15:97   And verily, We know that [you] (is) straitened your breast by what they say.

فَسَبِّحۡ fasabbih

بِحَمۡدِ bihamdi

رَبِّكَ rabbika

وَكُن wakun

مِّنَ mmina

ٱلسَّـٰجِدِینَ  Assaajidina

٩٨

15:98   So glorify with the praise (of) your Lord and be of those who prostrate.

وَٱعۡبُدۡ waI'bud

رَبَّكَ rabbaka

حَتَّىٰ hattaa

یَأۡتِیَكَ yaAtiyaka

ٱلۡیَقِینُ  Alyaqinu

٩٩

15:99   And worship your Lord until comes to you the certainty.
