Quran 15 : 70
They said, "Did not we forbid you from the world?"
قَالُوٓا۟
Qāluwa
أَوَلَمْ
Aawalam
نَنْهَكَ
Nanhaka
عَنِ
ʿAni
ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
Alʿaālamīna
They said Did not we forbid you from the world
They said: forbade we not thee against the worlds
They said: Prohibit we thee not from some beings?
They said, 'Have we not forbidden thee all beings?
They said, “Did we not forbid you from that world?
They said: "Did we not prohibit you from the world?"
They replied, “Didn’t we forbid you from strangers?”
They said: "Did we not forbid you to entertain anyone?"
They said: ‘Did we not forbid you to entertain anyone?’
They said, 'Have we not forbidden you from the worlds?'
They said, “aren't we prohibiting you from the worlds?”
They said: Have we not forbidden you from (other) people
They said, 'Did we not forbid you from strangers?'
They said, `Did we not forbid thee to entertain any people?
They said: Did we not forbid thee from (entertaining) people
They said: did we not forbid you contact with everybody else?
They said, 'Have we not forbidden thee everybody in the world?
They said; Have we not forbidden you from (entertaining) anyone
They said, Did we not forbid you to extend hospitality to strangers
They said, “Did we not forewarn you against [harboring] any people?”
They said, "Did we not enjoin you from contacting anyone?"
They replied: 'Have we not forbidden you (the people of) the worlds?
They responded, “Have we not forbidden you from protecting anyone?”
They said: ‘Did we not forbid you to entertain strangers?‘
They said, “Didn’t we tell you not to meddle in the affairs of others?”
They said, “Haven’t we told you not to interfere in our affairs”
They said: “Did we not ban you from humankind (to have them as guests)?”
They said, “Did we not forbid you from [being hospitable to] strangers?”
They said: "Did we not forbid thee (to speak) for all and sundry?"
They said, ´Did we not forbid you to play host to anyone at all?´
They said, "Did we not forbid you to stand up for the whole world?"
They replied, "Did we not forbid you to bring anyone to your house?"
They said, "Have we not forbidden you to speak for all in the world?"
They said, `Have we not told you not to entertain (all sorts of unknown) people?
They said, "Have we not forbidden thee to entertain any one whatever?"
They said, “Did we not forbid you from [providing protection] to all the people?
They answered, have we not forbidden thee from entertaining or protecting any man
They said, "Have we not prohibited you from meddling with other people's matters?
They said, ‘Did we not forbid you from [defending] strangers?’
They said, .Had we not forbidden you from (being the guardian of) the whole world?
They said, "Have we not forbidden you from [protecting] people?"
They said: “We have already told you not to talk about morality with us?”
They said "Had we not forbidden you, against the interference in the matter of others'.
They said, "Had we not forbidden you from meddling in the affairs of anyone?"
They said, "Did we not forbid you from (speaking on behalf of everyone in) the worlds?"
They answered, "Have we not forbidden you [to offer protection] to any kind of people?"
They said: "Didn’t we forbid you to have contact with [anyone in] the Universe [outside]?"'
They (people of the city) said: “Did we not forbid you from (entertaining) any of the people?”
They said, "Have we not forbidden you (to entertain all) men?" (Literally: the worlds
They said: "And did we not forbid/prevent you from the creations all together/(universes)?"
(The gays) said: “Did we then not forbid you against (giving protection to people of) the worlds?
They answered, ‘Have we not told you not to interfere [between us and] anyone else?’
They replied: "Did we not forbid you again and again to extend hospitality to all and sundry?"
They answered, "Haven't we forbidden you to entertain any kind of people (who are strangers)?"
They answered: "Have we not forbidden thee [to offer protection] to any kind of people?"
They said: "Have we not forbidden you to offer protection and intercede for anyone in the world?"
They said (to Lut): "Did we not forbid you to host and entertain any of the righteous (away from us)?"
"Did we not restrain you," they said, "from (entertaining) creatures from the outside world?"
Those (lost in wickedness) said: ‘(O Lut [Lot],) did we not forbid you (to provide protection to) all the people of the world?
They said: "Didn´t we forbid you to have contact with [anyone in] the Universe [outside]?"´
They (people of the city) said: "Did we not forbid you to entertain (or protect) any of the Alameen (people, foreigners, strangers, etc. from us)?"
