۞ إِذَا
وَقَعَتِ
ٱلۡوَاقِعَةُ
١
56:1
When occurs the Event,
لَیۡسَ
لِوَقۡعَتِهَا
كَاذِبَةٌ
٢
56:2
Not at its occurrence a denial
خَافِضَةࣱ
رَّافِعَةٌ
٣
56:3
Bringing down, raising up,
إِذَا
رُجَّتِ
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ
رَجࣰّا
٤
56:4
When will be shaken the earth (with) a shaking,
وَبُسَّتِ
ٱلۡجِبَالُ
بَسࣰّا
٥
56:5
And will be crumbled the mountains (with awful) crumbling.
فَكَانَتۡ
هَبَاۤءࣰ
مُّنۢبَثࣰّا
٦
56:6
So they become dust particles dispersing.
وَكُنتُمۡ
أَزۡوَ ٰجࣰا
ثَلَـٰثَةࣰ
٧
56:7
And you will become kinds three.
فَأَصۡحَـٰبُ
ٱلۡمَیۡمَنَةِ
مَاۤ
أَصۡحَـٰبُ
ٱلۡمَیۡمَنَةِ
٨
56:8
Then (the) companions (of) the right, what (are the) companions (of) the right?
وَأَصۡحَـٰبُ
ٱلۡمَشۡءَمَةِ
مَاۤ
أَصۡحَـٰبُ
ٱلۡمَشۡءَمَةِ
٩
56:9
And (the) companions (of) the left, what (are the) companions (of) the left?
وَٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ
ٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ
١٠
56:10
And the foremost (are) the foremost,
أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ
ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ
١١
56:11
Those (are) the nearest ones.
فِی
جَنَّـٰتِ
ٱلنَّعِیمِ
١٢
56:12
In Gardens (of) Pleasure,
ثُلَّةࣱ
مِّنَ
ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ
١٣
56:13
A company of the former (people),
وَقَلِیلࣱ
مِّنَ
ٱلۡءَاخِرِینَ
١٤
56:14
And a few of the later (people),
عَلَىٰ
سُرُرࣲ
مَّوۡضُونَةࣲ
١٥
56:15
On thrones decorated,
مُّتَّكِءِینَ
عَلَیۡهَا
مُتَقَـٰبِلِینَ
١٦
56:16
Reclining, on them facing each other.
یَطُوفُ
عَلَیۡهِمۡ
وِلۡدَ ٰنࣱ
مُّخَلَّدُونَ
١٧
56:17
Will circulate among them boys immortal,
بِأَكۡوَابࣲ
وَأَبَارِیقَ
وَكَأۡسࣲ
مِّن
مَّعِینࣲ
١٨
56:18
With vessels and jugs and a cup from a flowing stream,
لَّا
یُصَدَّعُونَ
عَنۡهَا
وَلَا
یُنزِفُونَ
١٩
56:19
Not they will get headache therefrom and not they will get intoxicated
وَفَـٰكِهَةࣲ
مِّمَّا
یَتَخَیَّرُونَ
٢٠
56:20
And fruits of what they select,
وَلَحۡمِ
طَیۡرࣲ
مِّمَّا
یَشۡتَهُونَ
٢١
56:21
And (the) flesh (of) fowls of what they desire.
وَحُورٌ
عِینࣱ
٢٢
56:22
And fair ones (with) large eyes,
كَأَمۡثَـٰلِ
ٱللُّؤۡلُوِٕ
ٱلۡمَكۡنُونِ
٢٣
56:23
Like pearls well-protected,
جَزَاۤءَۢ
بِمَا
كَانُوا۟
یَعۡمَلُونَ
٢٤
56:24
A reward for what they used (to) do.
لَا
یَسۡمَعُونَ
فِیهَا
لَغۡوࣰا
وَلَا
تَأۡثِیمًا
٢٥
56:25
Not they will hear therein vain talk and not sinful (speech),
إِلَّا
قِیلࣰا
سَلَـٰمࣰا
سَلَـٰمࣰا
٢٦
56:26
Except a saying, "Peace, Peace."
وَأَصۡحَـٰبُ
ٱلۡیَمِینِ
مَاۤ
أَصۡحَـٰبُ
ٱلۡیَمِینِ
٢٧
56:27
And (the) companions (of) the right, what (are the) companions (of) the right?
فِی
سِدۡرࣲ
مَّخۡضُودࣲ
٢٨
56:28
Among lote trees thornless,
وَطَلۡحࣲ
مَّنضُودࣲ
٢٩
56:29
And banana trees layered,
وَظِلࣲّ
مَّمۡدُودࣲ
٣٠
56:30
And shade extended,
وَمَاۤءࣲ
مَّسۡكُوبࣲ
٣١
56:31
And water poured forth,
وَفَـٰكِهَةࣲ
كَثِیرَةࣲ
٣٢
56:32
And fruit abundant,
لَّا
مَقۡطُوعَةࣲ
وَلَا
مَمۡنُوعَةࣲ
٣٣
56:33
Not limited and not forbidden,
وَفُرُشࣲ
مَّرۡفُوعَةٍ
٣٤
56:34
And (on) couches raised.
إِنَّاۤ
أَنشَأۡنَـٰهُنَّ
إِنشَاۤءࣰ
٣٥
56:35
Indeed, We [We] have produced them (into) a creation,
فَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُنَّ
أَبۡكَارًا
٣٦
56:36
And We have made them virgins,
عُرُبًا
أَتۡرَابࣰا
٣٧
56:37
Devoted, equals in age.
لِّأَصۡحَـٰبِ
ٱلۡیَمِینِ
٣٨
56:38
For (the) companions (of) the right,
ثُلَّةࣱ
مِّنَ
ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ
٣٩
56:39
A company of the former people,
وَثُلَّةࣱ
مِّنَ
ٱلۡءَاخِرِینَ
٤٠
56:40
And a company of the later people.
وَأَصۡحَـٰبُ
ٱلشِّمَالِ
مَاۤ
أَصۡحَـٰبُ
ٱلشِّمَالِ
٤١
56:41
And (the) companions (of) the left, what (are the) companions (of) the left?
فِی
سَمُومࣲ
وَحَمِیمࣲ
٤٢
56:42
In scorching fire and scalding water,
وَظِلࣲّ
مِّن
یَحۡمُومࣲ
٤٣
56:43
And a shade of black smoke,
لَّا
بَارِدࣲ
وَلَا
كَرِیمٍ
٤٤
56:44
Not cool and not pleasant.
إِنَّهُمۡ
كَانُوا۟
قَبۡلَ
ذَ ٰلِكَ
مُتۡرَفِینَ
٤٥
56:45
Indeed, they were before that indulging in affluence.
وَكَانُوا۟
یُصِرُّونَ
عَلَى
ٱلۡحِنثِ
ٱلۡعَظِیمِ
٤٦
56:46
And were persisting in the sin the great,
وَكَانُوا۟
یَقُولُونَ
أَىِٕذَا
مِتۡنَا
وَكُنَّا
تُرَابࣰا
وَعِظَـٰمًا
أَءِنَّا
لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ
٤٧
56:47
And they used (to) say, "When we die and become dust and bones, will we surely be resurrected?
أَوَ
ءَابَاۤؤُنَا
ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ
٤٨
56:48
And also our forefathers?
قُلۡ
إِنَّ
ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ
وَٱلۡءَاخِرِینَ
٤٩
56:49
Say, "Indeed, the former and the later people
لَمَجۡمُوعُونَ
إِلَىٰ
مِیقَـٰتِ
یَوۡمࣲ
مَّعۡلُومࣲ
٥٠
56:50
Surely, will be gathered for (the) appointment (of) a Day well-known."
ثُمَّ
إِنَّكُمۡ
أَیُّهَا
ٱلضَّاۤلُّونَ
ٱلۡمُكَذِّبُونَ
٥١
56:51
"Then indeed you, O those astray! the deniers,
لَءَاكِلُونَ
مِن
شَجَرࣲ
مِّن
زَقُّومࣲ
٥٢
56:52
Will surely eat from (the) tree of Zaqqum.
فَمَالِءُونَ
مِنۡهَا
ٱلۡبُطُونَ
٥٣
56:53
Then will fill with it the bellies,
فَشَـٰرِبُونَ
عَلَیۡهِ
مِنَ
ٱلۡحَمِیمِ
٥٤
56:54
And drink over it [from] the scalding water,
فَشَـٰرِبُونَ
شُرۡبَ
ٱلۡهِیمِ
٥٥
56:55
And will drink (as) drinking (of) the thirsty camels."
هَـٰذَا
نُزُلُهُمۡ
یَوۡمَ
ٱلدِّینِ
٥٦
56:56
This (is) their hospitality (on the) Day (of) Judgment.
نَحۡنُ
خَلَقۡنَـٰكُمۡ
فَلَوۡلَا
تُصَدِّقُونَ
٥٧
56:57
We [We] created you, so why (do) not you admit the truth?
أَفَرَءَیۡتُم
مَّا
تُمۡنُونَ
٥٨
56:58
Do you see what you emit?
ءَأَنتُمۡ
تَخۡلُقُونَهُۥۤ
أَمۡ
نَحۡنُ
ٱلۡخَـٰلِقُونَ
٥٩
56:59
Is it you who create it or (are) We the Creators?
نَحۡنُ
قَدَّرۡنَا
بَیۡنَكُمُ
ٱلۡمَوۡتَ
وَمَا
نَحۡنُ
بِمَسۡبُوقِینَ
٦٠
56:60
We [We] have decreed among you the death and not We (are) outrun,
عَلَىٰۤ
أَن
نُّبَدِّلَ
أَمۡثَـٰلَكُمۡ
وَنُنشِئَكُمۡ
فِی
مَا
لَا
تَعۡلَمُونَ
٦١
56:61
In that We (will) change your likeness[es] and produce you in what not you know.
وَلَقَدۡ
عَلِمۡتُمُ
ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ
ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
فَلَوۡلَا
تَذَكَّرُونَ
٦٢
56:62
And certainly you know the creation the first, so why not you take heed?
أَفَرَءَیۡتُم
مَّا
تَحۡرُثُونَ
٦٣
56:63
And do you see what you sow?
ءَأَنتُمۡ
تَزۡرَعُونَهُۥۤ
أَمۡ
نَحۡنُ
ٱلزَّ ٰرِعُونَ
٦٤
56:64
Is it you (who) cause it to grow or (are) We the Ones Who grow?
لَوۡ
نَشَاۤءُ
لَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ
حُطَـٰمࣰا
فَظَلۡتُمۡ
تَفَكَّهُونَ
٦٥
56:65
If We willed We (would) surely, make it debris, then you would remain wondering,
إِنَّا
لَمُغۡرَمُونَ
٦٦
56:66
"Indeed, we surely are laden with debt,
بَلۡ
نَحۡنُ
مَحۡرُومُونَ
٦٧
56:67
Nay, we (are) deprived."
أَفَرَءَیۡتُمُ
ٱلۡمَاۤءَ
ٱلَّذِی
تَشۡرَبُونَ
٦٨
56:68
Do you see the water, which you drink?
ءَأَنتُمۡ
أَنزَلۡتُمُوهُ
مِنَ
ٱلۡمُزۡنِ
أَمۡ
نَحۡنُ
ٱلۡمُنزِلُونَ
٦٩
56:69
Is it you who send it down from the rain clouds, or We (are) the Ones to send?
لَوۡ
نَشَاۤءُ
جَعَلۡنَـٰهُ
أُجَاجࣰا
فَلَوۡلَا
تَشۡكُرُونَ
٧٠
56:70
If We willed, We (could) make it salty, then why not are you grateful?
أَفَرَءَیۡتُمُ
ٱلنَّارَ
ٱلَّتِی
تُورُونَ
٧١
56:71
Do you see the Fire, which you ignite?
ءَأَنتُمۡ
أَنشَأۡتُمۡ
شَجَرَتَهَاۤ
أَمۡ
نَحۡنُ
ٱلۡمُنشِءُونَ
٧٢
56:72
Is it you who produced its tree or We (are) the Producers?
نَحۡنُ
جَعَلۡنَـٰهَا
تَذۡكِرَةࣰ
وَمَتَـٰعࣰا
لِّلۡمُقۡوِینَ
٧٣
56:73
We have made it a reminder and a provision for the wayfarers in the desert.
فَسَبِّحۡ
بِٱسۡمِ
رَبِّكَ
ٱلۡعَظِیمِ
٧٤
56:74
So glorify (the) name (of) your Lord, the Most Great.
۞ فَلَاۤ
أُقۡسِمُ
بِمَوَ ٰقِعِ
ٱلنُّجُومِ
٧٥
56:75
But nay, I swear by setting (of) the stars,
وَإِنَّهُۥ
لَقَسَمࣱ
لَّوۡ
تَعۡلَمُونَ
عَظِیمٌ
٧٦
56:76
And indeed, it (is) surely an oath, if you know - great,
إِنَّهُۥ
لَقُرۡءَانࣱ
كَرِیمࣱ
٧٧
56:77
Indeed, it (is) surely, a Quran noble,
فِی
كِتَـٰبࣲ
مَّكۡنُونࣲ
٧٨
56:78
In a Book well-guarded,
لَّا
یَمَسُّهُۥۤ
إِلَّا
ٱلۡمُطَهَّرُونَ
٧٩
56:79
None touch it except the purified.
تَنزِیلࣱ
مِّن
رَّبِّ
ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ
٨٠
56:80
A Revelation from (the) Lord (of) the worlds.
أَفَبِهَـٰذَا
ٱلۡحَدِیثِ
أَنتُم
مُّدۡهِنُونَ
٨١
56:81
Then is it to this statement that you (are) indifferent?
وَتَجۡعَلُونَ
رِزۡقَكُمۡ
أَنَّكُمۡ
تُكَذِّبُونَ
٨٢
56:82
And you make your provision that you deny.
فَلَوۡلَاۤ
إِذَا
بَلَغَتِ
ٱلۡحُلۡقُومَ
٨٣
56:83
Then why not when it reaches the throat,
وَأَنتُمۡ
حِینَىِٕذࣲ
تَنظُرُونَ
٨٤
56:84
And you (at) that time look on,
وَنَحۡنُ
أَقۡرَبُ
إِلَیۡهِ
مِنكُمۡ
وَلَـٰكِن
لَّا
تُبۡصِرُونَ
٨٥
56:85
And We (are) nearer to him than you but not (do) you see,
فَلَوۡلَاۤ
إِن
كُنتُمۡ
غَیۡرَ
مَدِینِینَ
٨٦
56:86
Then why not, if you are not to be recompensed,
تَرۡجِعُونَهَاۤ
إِن
كُنتُمۡ
صَـٰدِقِینَ
٨٧
56:87
Bring it back, if you are truthful.
فَأَمَّاۤ
إِن
كَانَ
مِنَ
ٱلۡمُقَرَّبِینَ
٨٨
56:88
Then if he was of those brought near,
فَرَوۡحࣱ
وَرَیۡحَانࣱ
وَجَنَّتُ
نَعِیمࣲ
٨٩
56:89
Then rest and bounty and a Garden (of) Pleasure.
وَأَمَّاۤ
إِن
كَانَ
مِنۡ
أَصۡحَـٰبِ
ٱلۡیَمِینِ
٩٠
56:90
And if he was of (the) companions (of) the right,
فَسَلَـٰمࣱ
لَّكَ
مِنۡ
أَصۡحَـٰبِ
ٱلۡیَمِینِ
٩١
56:91
Then, peace for you; [from] (the) companions (of) the right.
وَأَمَّاۤ
إِن
كَانَ
مِنَ
ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
ٱلضَّاۤلِّینَ
٩٢
56:92
But if he was of the deniers, the astray,
فَنُزُلࣱ
مِّنۡ
حَمِیمࣲ
٩٣
56:93
Then, hospitality of (the) scalding water,
وَتَصۡلِیَةُ
جَحِیمٍ
٩٤
56:94
And burning (in) Hellfire.
إِنَّ
هَـٰذَا
لَهُوَ
حَقُّ
ٱلۡیَقِینِ
٩٥
56:95
Indeed, this surely, it (is the) truth certain.
فَسَبِّحۡ
بِٱسۡمِ
رَبِّكَ
ٱلۡعَظِیمِ
٩٦
56:96
So glorify (the) name (of) your Lord, the Most Great.
