Quran 56 : 45

They used to be rich.

Before they lived at ease

They were earlier in luxuries

For they have lived in comfor

They had been affluent before

For they were affluent before.

They used to live luxuriously,

They were before that luxurious.

They were endowed with good thing

Before, they overindulged in luxur

and before that they lived at ease

Verily, they were affluent ere this

They had lived in luxury before thi

They had indeed been in luxury befor

They had lived before that in luxury

Which is neither cool nor Honourable.

Surely they lived before that in ease

Surely they had lived before in luxury

In the past life they lived in luxury,

Truly before that they lived in luxury

Before that they were living in luxury,

Indeed, they were affluent before that,

Verily they have been heretofore affluent

Indeed they had been affluent before this

Truly they were before this in affluence.

They were indulged in luxury before that.

Indeed they were among favours before this

Lo! heretofore they were effete with luxur

Surely, they were indulged in luxury before,

Verily, before that, they indulged in luxury

They had been luxuriating before that happened

They had been luxuriating before that happened

They used to be indulged in luxury before this.

Indeed, they were rich (and wealthy) before this,

Before this they lived in a life of ease and plenty

Indeed, they were before that indulging in affluence

Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence

Prior to this, they had the life of leisure and luxury

Verily, they were, before that, indulging in affluence,

Verily, they were, before that, indulging in affluence,

Truly, they had been before that ones who are given ease

Surely they were before that (living) in ease and luxury

For they truly, ere this, were blessed with worldly goods

Before that (i.e. in the worldly life) they were well-off

Surely they were before this made to live in ease and plenty

Surely they were before that made to live in ease and plenty

Verily, they used to indulge, before that, in wealth (and luxury)

For they enjoyed the pleasures of life before this, while on earth

Behold, before this, they were sunk in luxury, exploiting the poor

That they truly were before that luxuriated, ungrateful and arrogant

Indeed, before this ˹torment˺ they were spoiled by luxury,

Indeed, they previously indulged in luxury [in their lives on Earth].

Because they were accustomed to indulging, before that, with their wealth

For that they were wont to be indulged, before that, in wealth (and luxury)

No doubt, these (inmates of Hell) lived luxuriously before this (in the world)

Verily, they used to be before (this stage) — those who indulge in luxury

Indeed, before that, they were lost in excess of pleasures (without moral scruples)

Indeed, before this they were rampaging in an abundance of worldly, lustful pleasures!

They, of course, lived a life of ease and abundance before this (in the present world)

They were people who used to have an easy and comfortable life before meeting this misfortune

For, behold, in times gone by they were wont to abandon themselves wholly to the pursuit of pleasures
