Quran 56 : 46

and persisted in great sin

And insisted on great harm

would persist in great sin

And persisted in great sin.

But persisted in heinous sin

and persisted in the great si

and persisted in heinous sins

and persisted in the Great Sin

and did persist in mighty crime

and were persisting in great sin

persisting in immense wrongdoing

But persisted in that greater sin

They persisted in terrible sin.

and used to persist in major sins

and had persisted in the Great Sin

and they insisted on the great sin,

and persisted in awesome blasphemy,

And persisted in extreme sinfulness

and persisted in awesome blasphemy,

and would persist in heinous sinning

And used to persist in the awful sin

and persisted in the worst of sin.

And persisted in the greatest of sins

They insisted on the great blasphemy.

Verily before this, they were at ease.

And they used to insist on extreme sin

and they used to persist in great sin,

and they used to persist in the great sin

And were persisting in the sin the great

And they persisted in the great violation

And they persisted in the great violation

And they persisted in immense wrongdoing.

But (they) persisted in extreme sinfulness

And they used to persist in the great sin;

and they persisted obstinately in awful sin

And stubbornly persisted in their violations

And they persisted in the great oathbreaking.

And they had persisted in the Great Retractio

and persisted in the heinous sin², saying

And they used to persist in immense wrongdoing

And they were insisting on the great perjuring.

And willfully continued in the worst wickedness

And they used to persist in the great violation

And persisted obstinately in wickedness supreme

and obstinately persisted in a heinous wickedness

And they used to persist in the great blasphemy.

And they used to persist in the monstrous vileness

And they used to persist in the unpardonable sin.

And were stubborn upon the great sin (of disbelief)

And they used to persist on the most egregious sin.

And they have been persisting in the heinous offence

and they had been persisting in tremendous wickedness.

And they were persisting/insisting on the sin the great

And they persisted in the great violation (or great sin)

but they persisted in the greatest offenses against God,

and kept committing the grave sin of idolatry.

[but instead of being grateful to God,] engaged constantly in great sins

And obstinately persisted in great sin (of denying Allah and setting up partners with Him)

They used to persist in committing that great offence (denying their essential reality and its experience).

And would persist in committing the greatest sin (of unbelief or associating partners with God and denying the afterlife)

And were persisting in great sin (joining partners in worship along with Allah, committing murders and other crimes, etc.
