Quran 56 : 66
"Indeed, we surely are laden with debt,
إِنَّا
Iinnā
لَمُغْرَمُونَ
Lamughramūna
We are broke.
We are ruined
"We are lost."
"We lost.
“We are indebted.
'We are debt-loaded
Verily we are undone
"We are debt-ridden;
“Why are we debtors!
That we are indebted,
´We are ruined,
'We are penalized
“We lost.”
We are laden with debts
`We are laden with debt
“Indeed, we are in loss!”
"We are debt-ridden;
Lo! we are laden with debt
"We have been penalised
“Verily, we are ruined
'Verily, we have got into deb
[Saying], "we are now in debt;
‘We are burdened with debt
(saying): “We are indeed ruined,
"Truly we have been at cost
Surely we are burdened with debt
Surely we are burdened with debt
(Saying): ”We are indeed ruined,
(Saying:) 'We are laden with debts
‘Indeed we have suffered loss
"Behold, we are now under debt
“Surely, we are indebted. (You said)
(and saying,) .We are laden with debt
[saying] “Truly we have suffered loss
Saying, “We are indeed left with debts
Indeed, we surely are laden with debt
"Surely we are burdened with debt
'Indeed, we surely have got into debt;
We are ones who are debt-loaded!
(saying:) “We certainly suffered losses,
(And say:) "We have fallen into debt
“We are (involved) in a lasting difficulty,
"We are certainly indeed ruined!"
That We, We are in burdensome debt/loss (E)
“truly we are surely left burdened with debts.
crying, "We have been left to suffer loss
(And you may say:) ‘We are punished with ransom
"Surely we are indeed penalized (for debt)
(And saying,) `Surely, we have been left indebted
That, “We have indeed been penalised!”
(Saying): ” Definitely we are burdened with debt,
verily we have contracted debts for seed and labour
[You would complain,] “We are burdened with debt.
“We have truly suffered a ˹great˺ loss.
(Saying), "We have really been penalized!"
“Verily, we (are) indeed those burdened in debts
(Saying), "We are indeed left in debts (for no reason)
(Saying), "We are indeed left with debts (for nothing)
[Saying], "Indeed, we are [now] in debt
"We are indeed in a great loss (with our money, time, and efforts gone to waste)
(Saying): "We are indeed Mughramoon (i.e. ruined or lost the money without any profit, or punished by the loss of all that we spend for cultivation, etc.)! (See Tafsir Al-Qurtubee, Vol. 17, Page 219
