(A) mention (of the) Mercy (of) your Lord (to) His servant Zakariya

19:3
When he called (to) his Lord a call - secret.
قَالَ

رَبِّ

وَهَنَ

ٱلۡعَظۡمُ
Al'azmu
مِنِّی
minni
وَٱشۡتَعَلَ
waIshta'ala
ٱلرَّأۡسُ
ArraAsu
شَیۡبࣰا
shayba
وَلَمۡ
walam
أَكُنۢ
Akun
بِدُعَاۤىِٕكَ
bidu'aaika
رَبِّ
rabbi
شَقِیࣰّا
shaqiyya
٤
19:4
He said, "My Lord! Indeed, [I] (have) weakened (the) bones mine, and flared (my) head (with) white, and not I have been in (my) supplication (to) You my Lord unblessed.
وَإِنِّی

خِفۡتُ
khiftu
ٱلۡمَوَ ٰلِیَ
Almawaaliya
مِن
min
وَرَاۤءِی
waraa'i
وَكَانَتِ
wakanati
ٱمۡرَأَتِی
ImraAti
عَاقِرࣰا
'aqira
فَهَبۡ
fahab
لِی
li
مِن
min
لَّدُنكَ
lladunka
وَلِیࣰّا
waliyya

19:5
And indeed, I [I] fear the successors from after me, and is my wife barren. So give [to] me from Yourself an heir
یَرِثُنِی

وَیَرِثُ
wayarithu
مِنۡ
min
ءَالِ
'ali
یَعۡقُوبَۖ
ya'quba
وَٱجۡعَلۡهُ
waIj'alhu
رَبِّ
rabbi
رَضِیࣰّا
radiyya

19:6
Who will inherit me and inherit from (the) family (of) Yaqub. And make him my Lord, pleasing."
یَـٰزَكَرِیَّاۤ
yaazakariyyaa
إِنَّا

نُبَشِّرُكَ
nubashshiruka
بِغُلَـٰمٍ
bighulaamin
ٱسۡمُهُۥ
Ismuhu
یَحۡیَىٰ
yahyaa
لَمۡ
lam
نَجۡعَل
naj'al
لَّهُۥ
llahu
مِن
min
قَبۡلُ
qablu
سَمِیࣰّا
samiyya
٧
19:7
"O Zakariya! Indeed, We [We] give you glad tidings of a boy his name (will be) Yahya, not We (have) assigned [for] it from before (this) name."

یَكُونُ

غُلَـٰمࣱ

وَكَانَتِ
wakanati
ٱمۡرَأَتِی

وَقَدۡ

بَلَغۡتُ

ٱلۡكِبَرِ
Alkibari
عِتِیࣰّا
'itiyya

19:8
He said, "My Lord! How can I have a boy, while is my wife barren, and indeed, I have reached of the old age extreme?"
قَالَ

كَذَ ٰلِكَ

قَالَ

رَبُّكَ

هُوَ
huwa
عَلَیَّ
'alayya
هَیِّنࣱ

وَقَدۡ
waqad
خَلَقۡتُكَ

مِن

قَبۡلُ

وَلَمۡ

تَكُ

شَیۡءࣰا
shay'a

19:9
He said, "Thus, said your Lord, 'It (is) for Me easy, and certainly I (have) created you from before, while not you were anything.'"

ءَایَةࣰۖ

قَالَ

ءَایَتُكَ
'ayatuka
أَلَّا

تُكَلِّمَ

ٱلنَّاسَ

ثَلَـٰثَ

لَیَالࣲ

سَوِیࣰّا
sawiyya

19:10
He said, "My Lord! Make for me a sign." He said, "Your sign (is) that not you will speak (to) the people, (for) three nights sound."
فَخَرَجَ
fakharaja
عَلَىٰ
'alaa
قَوۡمِهِۦ
qawmihi
مِنَ
mina
ٱلۡمِحۡرَابِ
Almihrabi
فَأَوۡحَىٰۤ
faAwhaa
إِلَیۡهِمۡ
Ilayhim
أَن
An
سَبِّحُوا۟
sabbihua
بُكۡرَةࣰ
bukrah
وَعَشِیࣰّا
wa'ashiyya
١١
19:11
Then he came out to his people from the prayer chamber, and he signaled to them to glorify (Allah) (in) the morning and (in) the evening.
یَـٰیَحۡیَىٰ
yaayahyaa
خُذِ
khudhi
ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ
Alkitaaba
بِقُوَّةࣲۖ
biquwwah
وَءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُ
wa'ataynaahu
ٱلۡحُكۡمَ
Alhukma
صَبِیࣰّا
sabiyya
١٢
19:12
"O Yahya! Hold the Scripture with strength." And We gave him [the] wisdom (when he was) a child
وَحَنَانࣰا
wahanana
مِّن
mmin
لَّدُنَّا
lladunna
وَزَكَوٰةࣰۖ
wazakawah
وَكَانَ
wakana
تَقِیࣰّا
taqiyya
١٣
19:13
And affection from Us and purity and he was righteous
وَبَرَّۢا
wabarra
بِوَ ٰلِدَیۡهِ
biwaalidayhi
وَلَمۡ
walam
یَكُن
yakun
جَبَّارًا
jabbarana
عَصِیࣰّا
'asiyya
١٤
19:14
And dutiful to his parents, and not he was a tyrant disobedient.
وَسَلَـٰمٌ
wasalaamun
عَلَیۡهِ
'alayhi
یَوۡمَ
yawma
وُلِدَ
wulida
وَیَوۡمَ
wayawma
یَمُوتُ
yamutu
وَیَوۡمَ
wayawma
یُبۡعَثُ
yub'athu
حَیࣰّا
hayya

19:15
And peace be upon him (the) day he was born and (the) day he dies and (the) day he will be raised alive.
وَٱذۡكُرۡ
waIdhkur
فِی
fi
ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ
Alkitaabi
مَرۡیَمَ
maryama
إِذِ
Idhi
ٱنتَبَذَتۡ
Intabadhat
مِنۡ
min
أَهۡلِهَا
Ahliha
مَكَانࣰا
makana
شَرۡقِیࣰّا
sharqiyya

19:16
And mention in the Book Maryam, when she withdrew from her family (to) a place eastern.
فَٱتَّخَذَتۡ
faIttakhadhat
مِن
min
دُونِهِمۡ
dunihim
حِجَابࣰا
hijaba
فَأَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ
faArsalnaa
إِلَیۡهَا
Ilayha
رُوحَنَا
ruhana
فَتَمَثَّلَ
fatamaththala
لَهَا
laha
بَشَرࣰا
bashara
سَوِیࣰّا
sawiyya
١٧
19:17
Then she took from them a screen. Then We sent to her Our Spirit then he assumed the likeness for her (of) a man well-proportioned.
قَالَتۡ

إِنِّیۤ

أَعُوذُ
A'udhu
بِٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ

مِنكَ

إِن
In
كُنتَ

تَقِیࣰّا

19:18
She said, "Indeed, I [I] seek refuge with the Most Gracious from you if you are God fearing."
قَالَ
qala
إِنَّمَاۤ
Innamaa
أَنَا۠
Ana
رَسُولُ
rasulu
رَبِّكِ
rabbiki
لِأَهَبَ
liAhaba
لَكِ
laki
غُلَـٰمࣰا
ghulaama
زَكِیࣰّا
zakiyya
١٩
19:19
He said, "Only I am a Messenger (from) your Lord, that I (may) bestow on you a son pure."
قَالَتۡ

أَنَّىٰ
Annaa
یَكُونُ
yakunu
لِی
li
غُلَـٰمࣱ
ghulaam
وَلَمۡ
walam
یَمۡسَسۡنِی
yamsasni
بَشَرࣱ
bashar
وَلَمۡ
walam
أَكُ
Aku
بَغِیࣰّا
baghiyya
٢٠
19:20
She said, "How can be for me a son, when not has touched me a man, and not I am unchaste?"
قَالَ

كَذَ ٰلِكِ
kadhaaliki
قَالَ
qala
رَبُّكِ
rabbuki
هُوَ
huwa
عَلَیَّ
'alayya
هَیِّنࣱۖ
hayyin
وَلِنَجۡعَلَهُۥۤ
walinaj'alahu
ءَایَةࣰ
'ayah
لِّلنَّاسِ
llilnnasi
وَرَحۡمَةࣰ
warahmah
مِّنَّاۚ
mminna
وَكَانَ
wakana
أَمۡرࣰا
Amra
مَّقۡضِیࣰّا
mmaqdiyya

19:21
He said, "Thus; said your Lord, 'It (is) for Me easy, and so that We will make him a sign for the mankind and a Mercy from Us. And (it) is a matter decreed.'"
۞ فَحَمَلَتۡهُ

فَٱنتَبَذَتۡ
faIntabadhat
بِهِۦ
bihi
مَكَانࣰا
makana
قَصِیࣰّا

19:22
So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him (to) a place remote.
فَأَجَاۤءَهَا
faAjaa'aha
ٱلۡمَخَاضُ
Almakhadu
إِلَىٰ
Ilaa
جِذۡعِ
jidh'i
ٱلنَّخۡلَةِ
Annakhlahi
قَالَتۡ
qalat
یَـٰلَیۡتَنِی
yaalaytani
مِتُّ
mittu
قَبۡلَ
qabla
هَـٰذَا
haadha
وَكُنتُ
wakuntu
نَسۡیࣰا
nasya
مَّنسِیࣰّا
mmansiyya
٢٣
19:23
Then drove her the pains of childbirth to (the) trunk (of) the date-palm. She said, "O! I wish I (had) died before this and I was (in) oblivion, forgotten."
فَنَادَىٰهَا
fanadaaha
مِن
min
تَحۡتِهَاۤ
tahtihaa
أَلَّا
Alla
تَحۡزَنِی
tahzani
قَدۡ
qad
جَعَلَ
ja'ala
رَبُّكِ
rabbuki
تَحۡتَكِ
tahtaki
سَرِیࣰّا
sariyya
٢٤
19:24
So cried to her from beneath her, "That (do) not grieve verily, (has) placed your Lord beneath you, a stream.
وَهُزِّیۤ
wahuzzi
إِلَیۡكِ
Ilayki
بِجِذۡعِ
bijidh'i
ٱلنَّخۡلَةِ
Annakhlahi
تُسَـٰقِطۡ
tusaaqit
عَلَیۡكِ
'alayki
رُطَبࣰا
rutaba
جَنِیࣰّا
janiyya
٢٥
19:25
And shake towards you (the) trunk (of) the date-palm, it will drop upon you fresh dates ripe.
فَكُلِی
fakuli
وَٱشۡرَبِی
waIshrabi
وَقَرِّی
waqarri
عَیۡنࣰاۖ
'ayna
فَإِمَّا
faImma
تَرَیِنَّ
tarayinna
مِنَ
mina
ٱلۡبَشَرِ
Albashari
أَحَدࣰا
Ahada
فَقُولِیۤ
faquli
إِنِّی
Inni
نَذَرۡتُ
nadhartu
لِلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ
lilrrahmaani
صَوۡمࣰا
sawma
فَلَنۡ
falan
أُكَلِّمَ
Aukallima
ٱلۡیَوۡمَ
Alyawma
إِنسِیࣰّا
Insiyya
٢٦
19:26
So eat and drink and cool (your) eyes. And if you see from human being anyone then say, "Indeed, I [I] have vowed to the Most Gracious a fast, so not I will speak today (to any) human being."
فَأَتَتۡ
faAtat
بِهِۦ
bihi
قَوۡمَهَا
qawmaha
تَحۡمِلُهُۥۖ
tahmiluhu
قَالُوا۟
qalua
یَـٰمَرۡیَمُ
yaamaryamu
لَقَدۡ
laqad
جِئۡتِ
jieti
شَیۡءࣰا
shay'a
فَرِیࣰّا
fariyya
٢٧
19:27
Then she came with him (to) her people, carrying him. They said, "O Maryam! Certainly, you (have) brought a thing amazing.
یَـٰۤأُخۡتَ

هَـٰرُونَ
haaruna
مَا
ma
كَانَ
kana
أَبُوكِ
Abuki
ٱمۡرَأَ
ImraA
سَوۡءࣲ
saw'
وَمَا
wama
كَانَتۡ
kanat
أُمُّكِ
Aummuki
بَغِیࣰّا
baghiyya
٢٨
19:28
O sister (of) Harun! Not was your father a man, evil, and not was your mother unchaste."
فَأَشَارَتۡ
faAsharat
إِلَیۡهِۖ
Ilayhi
قَالُوا۟
qalua
كَیۡفَ
kayfa
نُكَلِّمُ
nukallimu
مَن
man
كَانَ
kana
فِی
fi
ٱلۡمَهۡدِ
Almahdi
صَبِیࣰّا
sabiyya
٢٩
19:29
Then she pointed to him. They said, "How (can) we speak (to one) who is in the cradle, a child?"
قَالَ
qala
إِنِّی
Inni
عَبۡدُ
'abdu
ٱللَّهِ
Allahi
ءَاتَىٰنِیَ
'ataaniya
ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ
Alkitaaba
وَجَعَلَنِی
waja'alani
نَبِیࣰّا
nabiyya
٣٠
19:30
He said, "Indeed, I am a slave (of) Allah. He gave me the Scripture and made me a Prophet.
وَجَعَلَنِی
waja'alani
مُبَارَكًا
mubarakana
أَیۡنَ
Ayna
مَا
ma
كُنتُ
kuntu
وَأَوۡصَـٰنِی
waAwsaani
بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
biAssalawahi
وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ
waAzzakawahi
مَا
ma
دُمۡتُ
dumtu
حَیࣰّا
hayya
٣١
19:31
And He (has) made me blessed where ever I am and has enjoined (on) me [of] the prayer and zakah, that as long as I am alive
وَبَرَّۢا
wabarra
بِوَ ٰلِدَتِی
biwaalidati
وَلَمۡ
walam
یَجۡعَلۡنِی
yaj'alni
جَبَّارࣰا
jabbara
شَقِیࣰّا
shaqiyya
٣٢
19:32
And dutiful to my mother, and not He (has) made me insolent, unblessed.
وَٱلسَّلَـٰمُ
waAssalaamu
عَلَیَّ
'alayya
یَوۡمَ
yawma
وُلِدتُّ
wulidttu
وَیَوۡمَ
wayawma
أَمُوتُ
Amutu
وَیَوۡمَ
wayawma
أُبۡعَثُ
Aub'athu
حَیࣰّا
hayya
٣٣
19:33
And peace (be) on me (the) day I was born and (the) day I will die and (the) Day I will be raised alive."
ذَ ٰلِكَ

ٱبۡنُ
Ibnu
مَرۡیَمَۖ

قَوۡلَ

ٱلۡحَقِّ
Alhaqqi
ٱلَّذِی
Alladhi

19:34
That (was) Isa, (the) son (of) Maryam, a statement (of) truth that which about it they dispute.

یَتَّخِذَ

وَلَدࣲۖ
walad
سُبۡحَـٰنَهُۥۤۚ

أَمۡرࣰا
Amra
فَإِنَّمَا
faInnama
یَقُولُ
yaqulu
لَهُۥ
lahu
كُن
kun
فَیَكُونُ
fayakunu
٣٥
19:35
Not (it) is for Allah that He should take any son. Glory be to Him! When He decrees a matter, then only He says to it, "Be" and it is.
وَإِنَّ
waInna
ٱللَّهَ
Allaha
رَبِّی
rabbi
وَرَبُّكُمۡ
warabbukum
فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ
faI'buduhu
هَـٰذَا
haadha
صِرَ ٰطࣱ
siraat
مُّسۡتَقِیمࣱ
mmustaqim
٣٦
19:36
"And indeed, Allah (is) my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This (is) a path straight."
فَٱخۡتَلَفَ
faIkhtalafa
ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ
AlAhzabu
مِنۢ
min
بَیۡنِهِمۡۖ
baynihim
فَوَیۡلࣱ
fawayl
لِّلَّذِینَ
llilladhina
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarua
مِن
min
مَّشۡهَدِ
mmashhadi
یَوۡمٍ
yawmin
عَظِیمٍ
'azimin
٣٧
19:37
But differed the sects from among them, so woe to those who disbelieve from (the) witnessing (of) a Day great.
أَسۡمِعۡ
Asmi'
بِهِمۡ
bihim
وَأَبۡصِرۡ
waAbsir
یَوۡمَ
yawma
یَأۡتُونَنَاۖ
yaAtunana
لَـٰكِنِ
laakini
ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
Azzaalimuna
ٱلۡیَوۡمَ
Alyawma
فِی
fi
ضَلَـٰلࣲ
dalaal
مُّبِینࣲ
mmubin
٣٨
19:38
How they will hear! with them and how (they will) see! (the) Day they will come to Us, but the wrongdoers today (are) in error clear.
وَأَنذِرۡهُمۡ
waAndhirhum
یَوۡمَ
yawma
ٱلۡحَسۡرَةِ
Alhasrahi
إِذۡ
Idh
قُضِیَ
qudiya
ٱلۡأَمۡرُ
AlAmru
وَهُمۡ
wahum
فِی
fi
غَفۡلَةࣲ
ghaflah
وَهُمۡ
wahum
لَا
la
یُؤۡمِنُونَ
yuuminuna
٣٩
19:39
And warn them (of the) Day (of) the Regret, when has been decided the matter. And they (are) in heedlessness, and they (do) not believe.
إِنَّا
Inna
نَحۡنُ
nahnu
نَرِثُ
narithu
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ
AlArda
وَمَنۡ
waman
عَلَیۡهَا
'alayha
وَإِلَیۡنَا
waIlayna
یُرۡجَعُونَ
yurja'una

19:40
Indeed, We [We] [We] will inherit the earth and whoever (is) on it, and to Us they will be returned.
وَٱذۡكُرۡ
waIdhkur
فِی
fi
ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ
Alkitaabi
إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَۚ
Ibraahima
إِنَّهُۥ
Innahu
كَانَ
kana
صِدِّیقࣰا
siddiqa
نَّبِیًّا
nnabiyyana

19:41
And mention in the Book Ibrahim. Indeed, he was a man of truth, a Prophet.

لِأَبِیهِ

یَـٰۤأَبَتِ

لِمَ

تَعۡبُدُ

عَنكَ

19:42
When he said to his father, "O my father! Why (do) you worship that which not hears and not sees and not benefits [to] you (in) anything?
یَـٰۤأَبَتِ
yaabati
إِنِّی
Inni
قَدۡ
qad
جَاۤءَنِی
jaa'ani
مِنَ
mina
ٱلۡعِلۡمِ
Al'ilmi
مَا
ma
لَمۡ
lam
یَأۡتِكَ
yaAtika
فَٱتَّبِعۡنِیۤ
faIttabi'ni
أَهۡدِكَ
Ahdika
صِرَ ٰطࣰا
siraata
سَوِیࣰّا
sawiyya
٤٣
19:43
O my father! Indeed, [I] verily (has) come to me of the knowledge what not came to you, so follow me; I will guide you (to) the path even.
یَـٰۤأَبَتِ
yaabati
لَا
la
تَعۡبُدِ
ta'budi
ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَۖ
Ashshaytaana
إِنَّ
Inna
ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَ
Ashshaytaana
كَانَ
kana
لِلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ
lilrrahmaani
عَصِیࣰّا
'asiyya
٤٤
19:44
O my father! (Do) not worship the Shaitaan. Indeed, the Shaitaan is to the Most Gracious disobedient.
یَـٰۤأَبَتِ
yaabati
إِنِّیۤ
Inni
أَخَافُ
Akhafu
أَن
An
یَمَسَّكَ
yamassaka
عَذَابࣱ
'adhab
مِّنَ
mmina
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ
Arrahmaani
فَتَكُونَ
fatakuna
لِلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ
lilshshaytaani
وَلِیࣰّا
waliyya
٤٥
19:45
O my father! Indeed, I [I] fear that will touch you a punishment from the Most Gracious, so you would be to the Shaitaan a friend."
قَالَ
qala
أَرَاغِبٌ
Araghibun
أَنتَ
Anta
عَنۡ

ءَالِهَتِی
'alihati
یَـٰۤإِبۡرَ ٰهِیمُۖ
yaaIbraahimu
لَىِٕن
laain
لَّمۡ
llam
تَنتَهِ
tantahi
لَأَرۡجُمَنَّكَۖ
laArjumannaka
وَٱهۡجُرۡنِی
waIhjurni
مَلِیࣰّا
maliyya
٤٦
19:46
He said, "Why abandoning yourself (from) my gods, O Ibrahim? Surely, if not you desist surely, I will stone you, so leave me (for) a prolonged time."
قَالَ

سَلَـٰمٌ
salaamun
عَلَیۡكَۖ
'alayka
سَأَسۡتَغۡفِرُ
saAstaghfiru
لَكَ
laka
رَبِّیۤۖ
rabbi
إِنَّهُۥ
Innahu
كَانَ
kana
بِی
bi
حَفِیࣰّا
hafiyya
٤٧
19:47
He said, "Peace (be) on you. I will ask forgiveness for you (from) my Lord. Indeed, He is to me Ever Gracious.
وَأَعۡتَزِلُكُمۡ
waA'tazilukum
وَمَا
wama
تَدۡعُونَ
tad'una
مِن
min
دُونِ
duni
ٱللَّهِ
Allahi
وَأَدۡعُوا۟
waAd'ua
رَبِّی
rabbi
عَسَىٰۤ
'asaa
أَلَّاۤ
Allaa
أَكُونَ
Akuna
بِدُعَاۤءِ
bidu'aa'i
رَبِّی
rabbi
شَقِیࣰّا
shaqiyya
٤٨
19:48
And I will leave you and what you invoke from besides Allah and I will invoke my Lord. May be that not I will be in invocation (to) my Lord unblessed."
فَلَمَّا

ٱعۡتَزَلَهُمۡ
I'tazalahum
وَمَا
wama
یَعۡبُدُونَ
ya'buduna
مِن
min
دُونِ
duni
ٱللَّهِ
Allahi
وَهَبۡنَا
wahabna

Ishaaqa
وَیَعۡقُوبَۖ
waya'quba
وَكُلࣰّا
wakulla
جَعَلۡنَا
ja'alna
نَبِیࣰّا
nabiyya
٤٩
19:49
So when he left them and what they worshipped from besides Allah, [and] We bestowed [to] him Ishaq and Yaqub, and each (of them) We made a Prophet.
وَوَهَبۡنَا
wawahabna
لَهُم
lahum
مِّن
mmin
رَّحۡمَتِنَا
rrahmatina
وَجَعَلۡنَا
waja'alna
لَهُمۡ
lahum
لِسَانَ
lisana
صِدۡقٍ
sidqin
عَلِیࣰّا
'aliyya
٥٠
19:50
And We bestowed to them of Our Mercy, and We made for them a mention (of) honor high.
وَٱذۡكُرۡ
waIdhkur
فِی
fi
ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ
Alkitaabi
مُوسَىٰۤۚ
musaa
إِنَّهُۥ
Innahu
كَانَ
kana
مُخۡلَصࣰا
mukhlasa
وَكَانَ
wakana
رَسُولࣰا
rasula
نَّبِیࣰّا
nnabiyya
٥١
19:51
And mention in the Book, Musa. Indeed, he was chosen and was a Messenger, a Prophet.
وَنَـٰدَیۡنَـٰهُ
wanaadaynaahu
مِن
min
جَانِبِ
janibi
ٱلطُّورِ
Atturi
ٱلۡأَیۡمَنِ
AlAymani
وَقَرَّبۡنَـٰهُ
waqarrabnaahu
نَجِیࣰّا
najiyya
٥٢
19:52
And We called him from (the) side (of) the Mount the right, and brought him near (for) conversation.
وَوَهَبۡنَا
wawahabna
لَهُۥ
lahu
مِن
min
رَّحۡمَتِنَاۤ
rrahmatinaa
أَخَاهُ
Akhahu
هَـٰرُونَ
haaruna
نَبِیࣰّا
nabiyya
٥٣
19:53
And We bestowed [to] him from Our Mercy his brother Harun, a Prophet.
وَٱذۡكُرۡ
waIdhkur
فِی
fi
ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ
Alkitaabi
إِسۡمَـٰعِیلَۚ
Ismaa'ila
إِنَّهُۥ
Innahu
كَانَ
kana
صَادِقَ
sadiqa
ٱلۡوَعۡدِ
Alwa'di
وَكَانَ
wakana
رَسُولࣰا
rasula
نَّبِیࣰّا
nnabiyya
٥٤
19:54
And mention in the Book, Ismail. Indeed, he was true (to his) promise and was a Messenger - a Prophet.
وَكَانَ
wakana
یَأۡمُرُ
yaAmuru
أَهۡلَهُۥ
Ahlahu
بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
biAssalawahi
وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ
waAzzakawahi
وَكَانَ
wakana
عِندَ
'inda
رَبِّهِۦ
rabbihi
مَرۡضِیࣰّا
mardiyya
٥٥
19:55
And he used (to) enjoin (on) his people the prayer and zakah and was near his Lord pleasing.
وَٱذۡكُرۡ
waIdhkur
فِی
fi
ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ
Alkitaabi
إِدۡرِیسَۚ
Idrisa
إِنَّهُۥ
Innahu
كَانَ
kana
صِدِّیقࣰا
siddiqa
نَّبِیࣰّا
nnabiyya
٥٦
19:56
And mention in the Book, Idris. Indeed, he was truthful, a Prophet.
وَرَفَعۡنَـٰهُ
warafa'naahu
مَكَانًا
makanana
عَلِیًّا
'aliyyana
٥٧
19:57
And We raised him (to) a position high.
أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ
Aulaaika
ٱلَّذِینَ
Alladhina
أَنۡعَمَ
An'ama
ٱللَّهُ
Allahu
عَلَیۡهِم
'alayhim
مِّنَ
mmina
ٱلنَّبِیِّـۧنَ
Annabiyyina
مِن
min
ذُرِّیَّةِ
dhurriyyahi
ءَادَمَ
'adama
وَمِمَّنۡ
wamimman
حَمَلۡنَا
hamalna
مَعَ
ma'a
نُوحࣲ
nuh
وَمِن
wamin
ذُرِّیَّةِ
dhurriyyahi
إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ
Ibraahima
وَإِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ
waIsraa'ila
وَمِمَّنۡ
wamimman
هَدَیۡنَا
hadayna
وَٱجۡتَبَیۡنَاۤۚ
waIjtabaynaa
إِذَا
Idha
تُتۡلَىٰ
tutlaa
عَلَیۡهِمۡ
'alayhim
ءَایَـٰتُ
'ayaatu
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ
Arrahmaani
خَ̅رُّ̅و̅ا۟̅
kharrua
̅سُ̅جَّ̅دࣰ̅ا̅
sujjada
وَبُكِیࣰّا ۩
wabukiyya
58
19:58
Those (were) the ones whom bestowed favor Allah upon them from (among) the Prophets, of (the) offspring (of) Adam, and of those We carried with Nuh and of (the) offspring (of) Ibrahim and Israel and of (those) whom We guided and We chose. When were recited to them (the) Verses (of) the Most Gracious, they fell prostrating and weeping.
۞ فَخَلَفَ
fakhalafa
مِنۢ
min
بَعۡدِهِمۡ
ba'dihim
خَلۡفٌ
khalfun
أَضَاعُوا۟
Ada'ua
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
Assalawaha
وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟
waIttaba'ua
ٱلشَّهَوَ ٰتِۖ
Ashshahawaati
فَسَوۡفَ
fasawfa
یَلۡقَوۡنَ
yalqawna
غَیًّا
ghayyana
٥٩
19:59
Then succeeded from after them successors, who neglected the prayer and they followed the lusts so soon, they will meet evil
إِلَّا
Illa
مَن
man
تَابَ
taba
وَءَامَنَ
wa'amana
وَعَمِلَ
wa'amila
صَـٰلِحࣰا
saaliha
فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ
faAulaaika
یَدۡخُلُونَ
yadkhuluna
ٱلۡجَنَّةَ
Aljannaha
وَلَا
wala
یُظۡلَمُونَ
yuzlamuna
شَیۡءࣰا
shay'a
٦٠
19:60
Except (one) who repented and believed and did good (deeds). Then those will enter Paradise and not they will be wronged (in) anything.
جَنَّـٰتِ
jannaati
عَدۡنٍ
'adnin
ٱلَّتِی
Allati
وَعَدَ
wa'ada
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ
Arrahmaanu
عِبَادَهُۥ
'ibadahu
بِٱلۡغَیۡبِۚ
biAlghaybi
إِنَّهُۥ
Innahu
كَانَ
kana
وَعۡدُهُۥ
wa'duhu
مَأۡتِیࣰّا
maAtiyya
٦١
19:61
Gardens (of) Eden, which promised the Most Gracious (to) His slaves in the unseen. Indeed, [it] is His promise sure to come.
لَّا
lla
یَسۡمَعُونَ
yasma'una
فِیهَا
fiha
لَغۡوًا
laghwana
إِلَّا
Illa
سَلَـٰمࣰاۖ
salaama
وَلَهُمۡ
walahum
رِزۡقُهُمۡ
rizquhum
فِیهَا
fiha
بُكۡرَةࣰ
bukrah
وَعَشِیࣰّا
wa'ashiyya
٦٢
19:62
Not they will hear therein vain talk but peace. And for them (is) their provision therein, morning and evening.
تِلۡكَ
tilka
ٱلۡجَنَّةُ
Aljannahu
ٱلَّتِی
Allati
نُورِثُ
nurithu
مِنۡ
min
عِبَادِنَا
'ibadina
مَن
man
كَانَ
kana
تَقِیࣰّا
taqiyya
٦٣
19:63
This (is) Paradise, which We give (as) inheritance [of] (to) Our slaves (the one) who is righteous.
وَمَا
wama
نَتَنَزَّلُ
natanazzalu
إِلَّا
Illa
بِأَمۡرِ
biAmri
رَبِّكَۖ
rabbika
لَهُۥ
lahu
مَا
ma
بَیۡنَ
bayna
أَیۡدِینَا
Aydina
وَمَا
wama
خَلۡفَنَا
khalfana
وَمَا
wama
بَیۡنَ
bayna
ذَ ٰلِكَۚ
dhaalika
وَمَا
wama
كَانَ
kana
رَبُّكَ
rabbuka
نَسِیࣰّا
nasiyya
٦٤
19:64
And not we descend except by (the) Command (of) your Lord. To Him (belongs) what (is) between our hands and what (is) behind us, and what (is) between that. And not is your Lord forgetful
رَّبُّ
rrabbu
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ
Assamaawaati
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
waAlArdi
وَمَا
wama
بَیۡنَهُمَا
baynahuma
فَٱعۡبُدۡهُ
faI'budhu
وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ
waIstabir
لِعِبَـٰدَتِهِۦۚ
li'ibaadatihi
هَلۡ
hal
تَعۡلَمُ
ta'lamu
لَهُۥ
lahu
سَمِیࣰّا
samiyya
٦٥
19:65
Lord (of) the heavens and the earth and whatever (is) between both of them, so worship Him and be constant in His worship. Do you know for Him any similarity?
وَیَقُولُ
wayaqulu
ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ
AlInsaanu
أَءِذَا
A'idha
مَا
ma
مِتُّ
mittu
لَسَوۡفَ
lasawfa
أُخۡرَجُ
Aukhraju
حَیًّا
hayyana
٦٦
19:66
And says [the] man, "When that I am dead, surely will I be brought forth alive?"
أَوَ
Awa
لَا
la
یَذۡكُرُ
yadhkuru
ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ
AlInsaanu
أَنَّا
Anna
خَلَقۡنَـٰهُ
khalaqnaahu
مِن
min
قَبۡلُ
qablu
وَلَمۡ
walam
یَكُ
yaku
شَیۡءࣰا
shay'a
٦٧
19:67
Does not remember [the] man that We, We created him from before, while not he was anything?
فَوَرَبِّكَ
fawarabbika
لَنَحۡشُرَنَّهُمۡ
lanahshurannahum
وَٱلشَّیَـٰطِینَ
waAshshayaatina
ثُمَّ
thumma
لَنُحۡضِرَنَّهُمۡ
lanuhdirannahum
حَوۡلَ
hawla
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
جِثِیࣰّا
jithiyya
٦٨
19:68
So by your Lord, surely, We will gather them and the devils, then surely, We will bring them around Hell bent (on) knees.
ثُمَّ
thumma
لَنَنزِعَنَّ
lananzi'anna
مِن
min
كُلِّ
kulli
شِیعَةٍ
shi'ahin
أَیُّهُمۡ
Ayyuhum
أَشَدُّ
Ashaddu
عَلَى
'alaa
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ
Arrahmaani
عِتِیࣰّا
'itiyya
٦٩
19:69
Then surely, We will drag out from every sect, those of them (who were) worst against the Most Gracious (in) rebellion.
ثُمَّ
thumma
لَنَحۡنُ
lanahnu
أَعۡلَمُ
A'lamu
بِٱلَّذِینَ
biAlladhina
هُمۡ
hum
أَوۡلَىٰ
Awlaa
بِهَا
biha
صِلِیࣰّا
siliyya
٧٠
19:70
Then surely, We know best [of] those who [they] (are) most worthy therein (of) being burnt.
وَإِن
waIn
مِّنكُمۡ
mminkum
إِلَّا
Illa
وَارِدُهَاۚ
wariduha
كَانَ
kana
عَلَىٰ
'alaa
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
حَتۡمࣰا
hatma
مَّقۡضِیࣰّا
mmaqdiyya
٧١
19:71
And (there is) not (any) of you but (will be) passing over it. (This) is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed.
ثُمَّ
thumma
نُنَجِّی
nunajji
ٱلَّذِینَ
Alladhina
ٱتَّقَوا۟
Ittaqawa
وَّنَذَرُ
wwanadharu
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ
Azzaalimina
فِیهَا
fiha
جِثِیࣰّا
jithiyya
٧٢
19:72
Then We will deliver those who feared (Allah), and We will leave the wrongdoers therein bent (on) knees.
وَإِذَا
waIdha
تُتۡلَىٰ
tutlaa
عَلَیۡهِمۡ
'alayhim
ءَایَـٰتُنَا
'ayaatuna
بَیِّنَـٰتࣲ
bayyinaat
قَالَ
qala
ٱلَّذِینَ
Alladhina
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarua
لِلَّذِینَ
lilladhina
ءَامَنُوۤا۟
'amanua
أَیُّ
Ayyu
ٱلۡفَرِیقَیۡنِ
Alfariqayni
خَیۡرࣱ
khayr
مَّقَامࣰا
mmaqama
وَأَحۡسَنُ
waAhsanu
نَدِیࣰّا
nadiyya
٧٣
19:73
And when are recited to them Our Verses clear, say those who disbelieved to those who believed, "Which (of) the two groups (is) better (in) position. and best (in) assembly?"
وَكَمۡ
wakam
أَهۡلَكۡنَا
Ahlakna
قَبۡلَهُم
qablahum
مِّن
mmin
قَرۡنٍ
qarnin
هُمۡ
hum
أَحۡسَنُ
Ahsanu
أَثَـٰثࣰا
Athaatha
وَرِءۡیࣰا
wari'ya
٧٤
19:74
And how many We destroyed before them of a generation - they (were) better (in) possessions and appearance?
قُلۡ
qul
مَن
man
كَانَ
kana
فِی
fi
ٱلضَّلَـٰلَةِ
Addalaalahi
فَلۡیَمۡدُدۡ
falyamdud
لَهُ
lahu
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ
Arrahmaanu
مَدًّاۚ
maddana
حَتَّىٰۤ
hattaa
إِذَا
Idha
رَأَوۡا۟
raAwa
مَا
ma
یُوعَدُونَ
yu'aduna
إِمَّا
Imma
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
Al'adhaba
وَإِمَّا
waImma
ٱلسَّاعَةَ
Assa'aha
فَسَیَعۡلَمُونَ
fasaya'lamuna
مَنۡ
man
هُوَ
huwa
شَرࣱّ
sharr
مَّكَانࣰا
mmakana
وَأَضۡعَفُ
waAd'afu
جُندࣰا
junda
٧٥
19:75
Say, "Whoever is in [the] error, then surely will extend for him the Most Gracious an extension, until when they see what they were promised, either the punishment or the Hour, then they will know who [he] (is) worst (in) position and weaker (in) forces."
وَیَزِیدُ
wayazidu
ٱللَّهُ
Allahu
ٱلَّذِینَ
Alladhina
ٱهۡتَدَوۡا۟
Ihtadawa
هُدࣰىۗ
huda
وَٱلۡبَـٰقِیَـٰتُ
waAlbaaqiyaatu
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتُ
Assaalihaatu
خَیۡرٌ
khayrun
عِندَ
'inda
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
ثَوَابࣰا
thawaba
وَخَیۡرࣱ
wakhayr
مَّرَدًّا
mmaraddana
٧٦
19:76
And increases Allah those who accept guidance, (in) guidance. And the everlasting good deeds (are) better near your Lord (for) reward and better (for) return.
أَفَرَءَیۡتَ
Afara'ayta
ٱلَّذِی
Alladhi
كَفَرَ
kafara
بِءَایَـٰتِنَا
bi'ayaatina
وَقَالَ
waqala
لَأُوتَیَنَّ
laAutayanna
مَالࣰا
mala
وَوَلَدًا
wawaladana
٧٧
19:77
Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our Verses, and said, "Surely, I will be given wealth and children?"
أَطَّلَعَ
Attala'a
ٱلۡغَیۡبَ
Alghayba
أَمِ
Ami
ٱتَّخَذَ
Ittakhadha
عِندَ
'inda
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ
Arrahmaani
عَهۡدࣰا
'ahda
٧٨
19:78
Has he looked (into) the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Gracious a promise?
كَلَّاۚ
kalla
سَنَكۡتُبُ
sanaktubu
مَا
ma
یَقُولُ
yaqulu
وَنَمُدُّ
wanamuddu
لَهُۥ
lahu
مِنَ
mina
ٱلۡعَذَابِ
Al'adhabi
مَدࣰّا
madda
٧٩
19:79
Nay, We will record what he says, and We will extend for him from the punishment extensively.
وَنَرِثُهُۥ
wanarithuhu
مَا
ma
یَقُولُ
yaqulu
وَیَأۡتِینَا
wayaAtina
فَرۡدࣰا
farda
٨٠
19:80
And We will inherit (from) him what he says, and he will come to Us alone.
وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟
waIttakhadhua
مِن
min
دُونِ
duni
ٱللَّهِ
Allahi
ءَالِهَةࣰ
'alihah
لِّیَكُونُوا۟
lliyakunua
لَهُمۡ
lahum
عِزࣰّا
'izza
٨١
19:81
And they have taken from besides Allah, gods, that they maybe for them an honor.
كَلَّاۚ
kalla
سَیَكۡفُرُونَ
sayakfuruna
بِعِبَادَتِهِمۡ
bi'ibadatihim
وَیَكُونُونَ
wayakununa
عَلَیۡهِمۡ
'alayhim
ضِدًّا
diddana
٨٢
19:82
Nay, they will deny their worship (of them) and they will be against them opponents.
أَلَمۡ
Alam
تَرَ
tara
أَنَّاۤ
Annaa
أَرۡسَلۡنَا
Arsalna
ٱلشَّیَـٰطِینَ
Ashshayaatina
عَلَى
'alaa
ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ
Alkaafirina
تَؤُزُّهُمۡ
tauuzzuhum
أَزࣰّا
Azza
٨٣
19:83
Do not you see, that We [We] have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them (with) incitement.
فَلَا
fala
تَعۡجَلۡ
ta'jal
عَلَیۡهِمۡۖ
'alayhim
إِنَّمَا
Innama
نَعُدُّ
na'uddu
لَهُمۡ
lahum
عَدࣰّا
'adda
٨٤
19:84
So (do) not make haste against them. Only We count for them a number.
یَوۡمَ
yawma
نَحۡشُرُ
nahshuru
ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ
Almuttaqina
إِلَى
Ilaa
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ
Arrahmaani
وَفۡدࣰا
wafda
٨٥
19:85
(The) Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Gracious (as) a delegation
وَنَسُوقُ
wanasuqu
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ
Almujrimina
إِلَىٰ
Ilaa
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
وِرۡدࣰا
wirda
٨٦
19:86
And We will drive the criminals to Hell thirsty.
لَّا
lla
یَمۡلِكُونَ
yamlikuna
ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةَ
Ashshafaa'aha
إِلَّا
Illa
مَنِ
mani
ٱتَّخَذَ
Ittakhadha
عِندَ
'inda
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ
Arrahmaani
عَهۡدࣰا
'ahda
٨٧
19:87
Not they will have the power (of) the intercession except (he) who has taken from the Most Gracious a covenant.
وَقَالُوا۟
waqalua
ٱتَّخَذَ
Ittakhadha
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ
Arrahmaanu
وَلَدࣰا
walada
٨٨
19:88
And they say, "Has taken the Most Gracious a son."
لَّقَدۡ
llaqad
جِئۡتُمۡ
jietum
شَیۡءًا
shay'ana
إِدࣰّا
Idda
٨٩
19:89
Verily, you have put forth a thing atrocious.
تَكَادُ
takadu
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتُ
Assamaawaatu
یَتَفَطَّرۡنَ
yatafattarna
مِنۡهُ
minhu
وَتَنشَقُّ
watanshaqqu
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ
AlArdu
وَتَخِرُّ
watakhirru
ٱلۡجِبَالُ
Aljibalu
هَدًّا
haddana
٩٠
19:90
Almost the heavens get torn therefrom, and splits asunder the earth and collapse the mountain (in) devastation
أَن
An
دَعَوۡا۟
da'awa
لِلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ
lilrrahmaani
وَلَدࣰا
walada
٩١
19:91
That they invoke to the Most Gracious a son.
وَمَا
wama
یَنۢبَغِی
yanbaghi
لِلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ
lilrrahmaani
أَن
An
یَتَّخِذَ
yattakhidha
وَلَدًا
waladana
٩٢
19:92
And not is appropriate for the Most Gracious that He should take a son.
إِن
In
كُلُّ
kullu
مَن
man
فِی
fi
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ
Assamaawaati
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ
waAlArdi
إِلَّاۤ
Illaa
ءَاتِی
'ati
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ
Arrahmaani
عَبۡدࣰا
'abda
٩٣
19:93
Not all who (are) in the heavens and the earth but (will) come (to) the Most Gracious (as) a slave.
لَّقَدۡ
llaqad
أَحۡصَىٰهُمۡ
Ahsaahum
وَعَدَّهُمۡ
wa'addahum
عَدࣰّا
'adda
٩٤
19:94
Verily, He has enumerated them and counted them, a counting.
وَكُلُّهُمۡ
wakulluhum
ءَاتِیهِ
'atihi
یَوۡمَ
yawma
ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ
Alqiyaamahi
فَرۡدًا
fardana
٩٥
19:95
And all of them (will) come (to) Him (on the) Day (of) the Resurrection alone.
إِنَّ
Inna
ٱلَّذِینَ
Alladhina
ءَامَنُوا۟
'amanua
وَعَمِلُوا۟
wa'amilua
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ
Assaalihaati
سَیَجۡعَلُ
sayaj'alu
لَهُمُ
lahumu
ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ
Arrahmaanu
وُدࣰّا
wudda
٩٦
19:96
Indeed, those who believed and did good deeds, will bestow for them the Most Gracious affection.
فَإِنَّمَا
faInnama
یَسَّرۡنَـٰهُ
yassarnaahu
بِلِسَانِكَ
bilisanika
لِتُبَشِّرَ
litubashshira
بِهِ
bihi
ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ
Almuttaqina
وَتُنذِرَ
watundhira
بِهِۦ
bihi
قَوۡمࣰا
qawma
لُّدࣰّا
lludda
٩٧
19:97
So, only We (have) made it easy in your tongue, that you may give glad tidings with it (to) the righteous and warn with it a people hostile.
وَكَمۡ
wakam
أَهۡلَكۡنَا
Ahlakna
قَبۡلَهُم
qablahum
مِّن
mmin
قَرۡنٍ
qarnin
هَلۡ
hal
تُحِسُّ
tuhissu
مِنۡهُم
minhum
مِّنۡ
mmin
أَحَدٍ
Ahadin
أَوۡ
Aw
تَسۡمَعُ
tasma'u
لَهُمۡ
lahum
رِكۡزَۢا
rikza
٩٨
19:98
And how many We (have) destroyed before them of a generation? Can you perceive of them any one or hear from them a sound?
