Quran 19 : 7

“O Zechariah, We give you good news of a son, named John, a name We’ve never given before.”

O Zacharias, We give thee good news of a boy, whose name is John: We have not made before anyone his equal

Zakariyya, We give you good news of a son! He shall be called Yahya, no one has been named like him before.

'O Zechariah, We give you good news of a son, whose name is John, a name We have never given before.'

'O Zachariah, We give thee good tidings of a boy, whose name is John. No namesake have We given him aforetime.

“O Zechariah, We give you good news of a son. His name will be Yahya, to none by that name have We given before.

"O Zachariah, We give you glad tidings of a son whose name is John. We have not given that name before to anyone.

'O Zakaria! We give you glad tiding of a son whose name is Yahya. We have not made anyone of this name before him

"Zachariah, We bring you news about a boy whose name will be John. We have not given such a name to anyone before."

Zachariah, We bring you good news of a son whose name shall be John. We have not given such a name to anyone before

´Zakariyya! We give you the good news of a boy named Yahya, a name We have given to no one else before.´

O Zachariah! We give you glad tidings of a boy his name is Yahaya. Never did We appoint any namesake for him before”

O Zakariya! surely We give you good news of a boy whose name shall be Yahya: We have not made before anyone his equal

-"O Zachariah! verily we announce to thee a son, - his name John: That name We have given to none before him."

'O Zachariah, We give you good tidings of a son, and he shall be called John (Yahya); a name We have never given before.

"O Zechariah, We bring you good news of a son whose name will be John, a name We have never given to anyone else before."

'O Zachariah! Indeed, We give you glad tidings of a son, whose name shall be John. We never made a namesake of his before.'

'O Zachariah! verily, we, give thee glad tidings of a son, whose name shall be John. We never made a namesake of his before.

O Zakariyya! verily We give thee the glad tidings of a boy: his name shall be Yahya; We have not afore-time made his namesake

"Zachariah, We bring you news about a boy whose name will be John. We have not given such a name to anyone before."

“O Zachariah! Truly We bring thee glad tidings of a boy whose name is John; We have not given this as a name to any before him.

"O Zachariah, we give you good news; a boy whose name shall be John (Yahya). We never created anyone like him before."

O Zakariya: Surely, We preach (Good tidings) of a lad whose name is Yahya; to whom We have not previously set up a name (like him).

Rejoice, Zacharias. We shall give you a son to rejoice in, and his name shall be John; a name We have given no man before him.‘

“O Zechariah... We give you the good tidings of a boy whose name will be John... We have not assigned this name to anyone before him.”

"O Zakariyya, surely We give you good tidings of a youth whose name is Yahya (John). No namesake have We given him earlier."

(Allah said) .O Zakariyya, We give you the good news of a boy whose name is YaHya. We did not create any one before him of the same name

Oh Zakariya (Zacharias), We are giving you good news of a boy whose name is Yahya (John), We have not issued this name to anyone before.

God said, `O Zachariah, WE give thee glad tidings of a son whose name shall be Yahya. We have not called any one before him by that name.

O Zechariah! Truly, We give thee the good tidings of a boy. His name will be Yahya and We assigned it not as a namesake for anyone before.

(It was said), “O Zakariyya! We give you the good news of a son whose name will be Yahya. We did not assign (this) name to anyone before."

(It was said unto him): O Zachariah! Lo! We bring thee tidings of a son whose name is John; we have given the same name to none before (him)

‘Zachariah, We bring you good news of a son whose name will be John––We have chosen this name for no one before him.’

O Zakariya Indeed, We [We] give you glad tidings of a boy his name (will be) Yahya not We (have) assigned [for] it before before (this) name

“O Zechariah, indeed, We give you good news of a son. His name shall be John; on no other by that name have We already granted distinction.”

"O Zakaria! We give you the glad tidings of a son whose name is Yahya (John) - before him, We have not created anyone of this name."

"O Zachariah," (it was) said, "We give you good news of a son by name of John.' To none have We attributed the name before."

(Allah said): “O Zachariah! Surely, We give you the glad tidings of a son, his name shall be John. We have not given that name to anyone before.”

(He was inspired): "O’ Zachariah, We give you the glad tidings of a boy whose name is John. Never have We given this name to anyone before him."

"Oh Zakaria, We give you the good news of a son. His name shall be Yahya! Never before have We created anyone with his kind of qualities!"

(It was said unto him): "O’ ‘Zachariah’, We give you the joyful news of a boy, whose name is ‘John’. Never have We given this name to anyone before him."

(In response God told him): “O Zechariah, I give you the good news: A son whose name shall be John. No one like him has ever been created before”

We answered his prayers with the glad news of the birth of a son by the name of John and told him, "We have never given such a name to anyone else."

(The answer came), "O Zachariah! Verily, We give you glad tidings of a son, whose name shall be John. None by that name have We distinguished before."

And the angel answered him, O Zacharias, verily We bring thee tidings of a son, whose name shall be John; We have not caused any to bear the same name before him

‘O Zechariah! Indeed We give you the good news of a son, whose name is ‘‘John.’’ Never before have We made anyone his namesake.’

(He was told): "Zechariah, We bring you the good news of the birth of a son whose name shall be Yahya (John), one whose namesake We never created before."

(Allah said:) ‘O Zakariyya (Zacharias), indeed We give you the good news of a son whose name shall be Yahya (John). We have not given this name to anyone before him.

(He was told:) “Zachariah, indeed We give you good news of a boy, his name is Yahya (John the Baptist), We have not given anyone his attribute (or name) in the past.”

(His prayer was answered): "O Zakariya! We give thee good news of a son: His name shall be Yahya: on none by that name have We conferred distinction before."

[He was told], "O Zechariah, indeed We give you good tidings of a boy whose name will be John. We have not assigned to any before [this] name."

(Allah said) "O Zakariya (Zachariah)! Verily, We give you the glad tidings of a son, His name will be Yahya (John). We have given that name to none before (him)."

He was told, "O Zachariah! We give you the good news of a boy whose name shall be Yahya (John the Baptist). We have never given this name to anyone before." (19:65)

[The divine response was,] "O Zachariah! We do indeed give you the good news of a boy whose name shall be Yahya (John). We had not given this name to anyone before."

You Zacharias/Zachary , that We, We announce good news to you with a boy , his name (is) John/Yahya , We did not make for him from before (an) equivalent/equivalent in height/position

˹The angels announced,˺ “O Zachariah! Indeed, We give you the good news of ˹the birth of˺ a son, whose name will be John—a name We have not given to anyone before.”

(The angels called out to him on God’s behalf:) "O Zachariah! We give you the glad tidings of a son whose name will be Yahya (John). We have not given this name to anyone before."

(God accepted his prayer and said,) `Zachariah! We give you the glad tidings of (the birth of) a son, named Yahya (- John, - who will live long). We have made none like him (in your house) before this.

(And Lo! There came an immediate response): "O Zakariyya! Verily We, We give you the glad tidings of a son, his name (will be) Yahya (John). We have not made in his honour before (him, anyone) adopting (this) name.

[Thereupon the angels called out unto him: "O Zachariah! We bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son whose name shall be John. [And God says,] `Never have We given this name to anyone before him."

(Zakariyya's prayers were answered, and Allah said): "O Zakariyya (Zachariah)! Verily, We (Allah) give you the good news of a son: Whose name shall be Yahya (John): On no one by that name have We given (so much) honor before."
