Quran 19 : 42

He said to his father: ‘Why do you worship a worthless idol, a thing that can neither hear nor see

When he said to his father: "O father, why do you serve what does not hear or see, nor help you in anything?

He said to his father: 'O father, why worship that which can neither see nor hear, nor helps you in anything

He said to his father, Why do you worship something that can neither hear nor see nor benefit you in any way

When he said to his father, why dost thou worship that which neither hears nor sees, nor can avail thee aught

When he said to his father, 'O my sire! why dost thou worship what can neither hear nor see nor avail thee aught

When he said to his father, "O my sire! Why do you worship what can neither hear nor see nor avail you aught

who asked his father, "Father, why do you worship something that can neither hear nor see nor help you at all

When he said to his father, 'O my father! Why do you worship what can neither hear nor see nor avail you anything?

When he said to his sire: O my sire, why worshippest thou that which hears not, or sees, or can it avail thee aught

When he said to his father, 'Father, why worshippest thou that which neither hears nor sees, nor avails thee anything

He said to his father, "O my father, why do you worship what can neither hear, nor see, nor help you in any way?

Behold, he said to his father, “O my father, why worship that which hears not and sees not, and can profit you nothing

He said to his father, 'O my father, why do you worship what can neither hear, nor see, nor benefit you in any way

When he said to his father, “My father, why do you worship idols that cannot hear nor see nor benefit you in the least?

When he said to his father: oh my father, why do you serve that which does not hear nor see nor benefit you in any way?

When he said for his father, “O my father, why do you worship which neither hear, nor see, nor avail about you, a thing?

He said: “Father, why do you worship these things which neither hear, nor see, nor can be of any help to you?”

He said to his father: ‘O’ my father! Why do you worship that which can neither hear nor see, nor benefit you in anything?

He said to his father, ‘Father, why do you worship something that can neither hear nor see nor benefit you in any way

When he said to his father; O my father! why do you worship what neither hears nor sees, nor does it avail you in the least

When he said to his father, “O my father, why do you worship what can neither hear nor see and can’t benefit you in any way?

When he said to his father, “O my father, why do you worship that which hears not and sees not nor can it avail you in aught?

He said to his father, “O my father, why do you worship that which cannot hear or see and which cannot profit you anything?

As he said to his father, "O my father, why do you worship that which neither hears nor beholds, nor avails you anything

When he said unto his father: O my father! Why worshippest thou that which heareth not nor seeth, nor can in aught avail thee

when he said unto his father, “O my father! Why do you worship that which neither hears nor sees, nor can avail you in any way

Behold, he said to his father: "O my father! why worship that which heareth not and seeth not, and can profit thee nothing

When he said to his father: “O my father! Why do you worship that which can neither hear, nor see, and cannot avail you anything?

(Abraham) said to his father, “O my father... Why do you worship things that cannot hear you, see you or benefit you in any way?”

When he said to his father, 'O my father, why do you worship that which neither hears nor sees, and nor it is of any use to you'.

When he said unto his father, O my father, why dost thou worship that which heareth not, neither seeth, nor profiteth thee at all

When he said to his father: "O my father! Why do you worship that which hears not, sees not and cannot avail you in anything

when he said to his father, .My dear father, why do you worship something that does neither hear nor see, nor help you in any way

When he said to his father: "O my father! Why do you worship that which neither hears nor sees, nor can in anything avail you

He said to his father, "O my father, why do you worship that which does not hear and does not see and will not benefit you at all?

Behold! he said to his sire, `My dear sire, why do you worship that which can neither hear, nor see, nor can be of any avail to you

When he said to his Father, "O my Father! why dost thou worship that which neither seeth nor heareth, nor profiteth thee aught

When he said to his father, ‘Father! Why do you worship that which neither hears nor sees, and is of no avail to you in any way

When he said to his father: “My father, why do you serve something that does not hear and does not see and is of no use to you at all?

When he said to his father O my father Why (do) you worship that which not hears and not sees and not benefits [to] you (in) anything

That is when he said to his father: O my father! Why wilt thou worship what hears not, and perceives not, and avails thee not anything?

He said to his father, "Oh Father! Why do you worship that which neither sees, nor hears, nor can protect you from anything."

Remember when he said to his father, ´Father, why do you worship what can neither hear nor see and is not of any use to you at all?

When he said to his father: “O my loving father! Why do you worship that which hears not and sees not and helps you not in anything

When he said to his father, "O My father! why do you worship that which neither hears nor sees nor does it make you care-free from anything.

˹Remember˺ when he said to his father, “O dear father! Why do you worship what can neither hear nor see, nor benefit you at all?

Remember, when he said to his father: "O my father, why do you worship that which can neither hear nor see nor even profit you the least

He said unto his father: "O’ my father! Why do you worship (& venerate) that which neither hears nor sees, nor can even benefit you in anything?

Recall what time he said unto his father: , O my father! wherefore worshippest thou that which heareth not and seeth not, nor availeth thee at all

when he told his father: "My father, why do you worship something that neither hears nor perceives [anything], and does not benefit you in anyway"?

(And remind people) when he said to his father: "Father! Why do you worship that which neither sees nor hears, and which can be of no avail to you

When he said to his father, "O my father! Why do you worship a thing that neither hears nor sees, nor does it give you any benefit whatsoever?"

When he said to his father: "O my father! Why worship (something) that does not hear and does not see, and (something that) can be of no profit to you

[Mention] when he said to his father, "O my father, why do you worship that which does not hear and does not see and will not benefit you at all

When he said to his father, * "O my father - why do you worship one which neither hears nor sees, and cannot benefit you in any way?" (* His uncle Azar.

when he spoke [thus] unto his father: "O my father! Why dost thou worship something that neither hears nor sees and can be of no avail whatever to thee

when he told his father: "My father, why do you worship something that neither hears nor perceives [anything], and does not benefit you in anyway"?

When he said to his father: "You my father, for what (do) you worship what does not hear/listen, and nor see/understand , and nor enrich/suffice from you a thing?"

When he said to his father (i.e., his uncle Azar who brought him up after his father Tarakh died): ‘O my father, why do you worship these (idols) which cannot hear or see, nor can they remove any (troublesome) thing from you

He even confronted his father (Azar), "O My father! Why worship that which hear not and see not and can be of no avail to you?" (Azar, Terah, was the Chief Priest of King Nimrod Shaddad of Babylon and Ninevah, and was a master sculptor)
