Surah Az-Zukhruf Ornaments of gold

حمۤ  hm

١

43:1   Ha Meem.

وَٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ waAlkitaabi

ٱلۡمُبِینِ  Almubini

٢

43:2   By the Book the clear,

إِنَّا Inna

جَعَلۡنَـٰهُ ja'alnaahu

قُرۡءَ ٰنًا qur'aanana

عَرَبِیࣰّا 'arabiyya

لَّعَلَّكُمۡ lla'allakum

تَعۡقِلُونَ  ta'qiluna

٣

43:3   Indeed, We (have) made it a Quran (in) Arabic so that you may understand.

وَإِنَّهُۥ waInnahu

فِیۤ fi

أُمِّ Aummi

ٱلۡكِتَـٰبِ Alkitaabi

لَدَیۡنَا ladayna

لَعَلِیٌّ la'aliyyun

حَكِیمٌ  hakimun

٤

43:4   And indeed, it (is) in (the) Mother (of) the Book with Us, surely exalted, full of wisdom.

أَفَنَضۡرِبُ Afanadribu

عَنكُمُ 'ankumu

ٱلذِّكۡرَ Adhdhikra

صَفۡحًا safhana

أَن An

كُنتُمۡ kuntum

قَوۡمࣰا qawma

مُّسۡرِفِینَ  mmusrifina

٥

43:5   Then should We take away from you the Reminder, disregarding (you), because you are a people transgressing?

وَكَمۡ wakam

أَرۡسَلۡنَا Arsalna

مِن min

نَّبِیࣲّ nnabiyy

فِی fi

ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ  AlAwwalina

٦

43:6   And how many we sent from a Prophet among the former (people),

وَمَا wama

یَأۡتِیهِم yaAtihim

مِّن mmin

نَّبِیٍّ nnabiyyin

إِلَّا Illa

كَانُوا۟ kanua

بِهِۦ bihi

یَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ  yastahzi'una

٧

43:7   And not came to them from any Prophet but they used to at him mock.

فَأَهۡلَكۡنَاۤ faAhlaknaa

أَشَدَّ Ashadda

مِنۡهُم minhum

بَطۡشࣰا batsha

وَمَضَىٰ wamadaa

مَثَلُ mathalu

ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ  AlAwwalina

٨

43:8   Then We destroyed stronger than them (in) power and has passed (the) example (of) the former (people).

وَلَىِٕن walaain

سَأَلۡتَهُم saAltahum

مَّنۡ mman

خَلَقَ khalaqa

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ Assamaawaati

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ waAlArda

لَیَقُولُنَّ layaqulunna

خَلَقَهُنَّ khalaqahunna

ٱلۡعَزِیزُ Al'azizu

ٱلۡعَلِیمُ  Al'alimu

٩

43:9   And if you ask them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" They will surely say, "Created them the All-Mighty, the All-Knower,"

ٱلَّذِی Alladhi

جَعَلَ ja'ala

لَكُمُ lakumu

ٱلۡأَرۡضَ AlArda

مَهۡدࣰا mahda

وَجَعَلَ waja'ala

لَكُمۡ lakum

فِیهَا fiha

سُبُلࣰا subula

لَّعَلَّكُمۡ lla'allakum

تَهۡتَدُونَ  tahtaduna

١٠

43:10   The One Who made for you the earth a bed, and made for you therein roads so that you may (be) guided,

وَٱلَّذِی waAlladhi

نَزَّلَ nazzala

مِنَ mina

ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ Assamaa'i

مَاۤءَۢ maa'a

بِقَدَرࣲ biqadar

فَأَنشَرۡنَا faAnsharna

بِهِۦ bihi

بَلۡدَةࣰ baldah

مَّیۡتࣰاۚ mmayta

كَذَ ٰلِكَ kadhaalika

تُخۡرَجُونَ  tukhrajuna

١١

43:11   And the One Who sends down from the sky water in (due) measure, then We revive with it a land dead, thus you will be brought forth,

وَٱلَّذِی waAlladhi

خَلَقَ khalaqa

ٱلۡأَزۡوَ ٰجَ AlAzwaaja

كُلَّهَا kullaha

وَجَعَلَ waja'ala

لَكُم lakum

مِّنَ mmina

ٱلۡفُلۡكِ Alfulki

وَٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ waAlAn'aami

مَا ma

تَرۡكَبُونَ  tarkabuna

١٢

43:12   And the One Who created the pairs all of them and made for you [of] the ships and the cattle what you ride,

لِتَسۡتَوُۥا۟ litastawua

عَلَىٰ 'alaa

ظُهُورِهِۦ zuhurihi

ثُمَّ thumma

تَذۡكُرُوا۟ tadhkurua

نِعۡمَةَ ni'maha

رَبِّكُمۡ rabbikum

إِذَا Idha

ٱسۡتَوَیۡتُمۡ Istawaytum

عَلَیۡهِ 'alayhi

وَتَقُولُوا۟ wataqulua

سُبۡحَـٰنَ subhaana

ٱلَّذِی Alladhi

سَخَّرَ sakhkhara

لَنَا lana

هَـٰذَا haadha

وَمَا wama

كُنَّا kunna

لَهُۥ lahu

مُقۡرِنِینَ  muqrinina

١٣

43:13   That you may sit firmly, on their backs, then remember (the) favor (of) your Lord when you sit firmly on them and say, "Glory be (to) the One Who (has) subjected to us this, and not we were of it capable.

وَإِنَّاۤ waInnaa

إِلَىٰ Ilaa

رَبِّنَا rabbina

لَمُنقَلِبُونَ  lamunqalibuna

١٤

43:14   And indeed, we to our Lord, will surely return."

وَجَعَلُوا۟ waja'alua

لَهُۥ lahu

مِنۡ min

عِبَادِهِۦ 'ibadihi

جُزۡءًاۚ juz'ana

إِنَّ Inna

ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ AlInsaana

لَكَفُورࣱ lakafur

مُّبِینٌ  mmubinun

١٥

43:15   But they attribute to Him from His slaves a portion. Indeed, man surely (is) ungrateful clearly.

أَمِ Ami

ٱتَّخَذَ Ittakhadha

مِمَّا mimma

یَخۡلُقُ yakhluqu

بَنَاتࣲ banat

وَأَصۡفَىٰكُم waAsfaakum

بِٱلۡبَنِینَ  biAlbanina

١٦

43:16   Or has He taken of what, He has created, daughters and He has chosen (for) you sons.

وَإِذَا waIdha

بُشِّرَ bushshira

أَحَدُهُم Ahaduhum

بِمَا bima

ضَرَبَ daraba

لِلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ lilrrahmaani

مَثَلࣰا mathala

ظَلَّ zalla

وَجۡهُهُۥ wajhuhu

مُسۡوَدࣰّا muswadda

وَهُوَ wahuwa

كَظِیمٌ  kazimun

١٧

43:17   And when is given good news, (to) one of them, of what he sets up for the Most Gracious (as) a likeness, becomes his face dark and he (is) filled with grief.

أَوَ Awa

مَن man

یُنَشَّؤُا۟ yunashshauua

فِی fi

ٱلۡحِلۡیَةِ Alhilyahi

وَهُوَ wahuwa

فِی fi

ٱلۡخِصَامِ Alkhisami

غَیۡرُ ghayru

مُبِینࣲ  mubin

١٨

43:18   Then (is one) who is brought up in ornaments and he in the dispute (is) not clear.

وَجَعَلُوا۟ waja'alua

ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةَ Almalaaikaha

ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina

هُمۡ hum

عِبَـٰدُ 'ibaadu

ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ Arrahmaani

إِنَـٰثًاۚ Inaathana

أَشَهِدُوا۟ Ashahidua

خَلۡقَهُمۡۚ khalqahum

سَتُكۡتَبُ satuktabu

شَهَـٰدَتُهُمۡ shahaadatuhum

وَیُسۡءَلُونَ  wayus'aluna

١٩

43:19   And they made, the Angels, those who themselves (are) slaves (of) the Most Gracious, females. Did they witness their creation? Will be recorded their testimony, and they will be questioned.

وَقَالُوا۟ waqalua

لَوۡ law

شَاۤءَ shaa'a

ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ Arrahmaanu

مَا ma

عَبَدۡنَـٰهُمۗ 'abadnaahum

مَّا mma

لَهُم lahum

بِذَ ٰلِكَ bidhaalika

مِنۡ min

عِلۡمٍۖ 'ilmin

إِنۡ In

هُمۡ hum

إِلَّا Illa

یَخۡرُصُونَ  yakhrusuna

٢٠

43:20   And they say, "If had willed the Most Gracious, that we would not have worshipped them." Not they have about that any knowledge. Nothing they (do) but lie.

أَمۡ Am

ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمۡ 'ataynaahum

كِتَـٰبࣰا kitaaba

مِّن mmin

قَبۡلِهِۦ qablihi

فَهُم fahum

بِهِۦ bihi

مُسۡتَمۡسِكُونَ  mustamsikuna

٢١

43:21   Or have We given them a book from before it, so they to it (are) holding fast?

بَلۡ bal

قَالُوۤا۟ qalua

إِنَّا Inna

وَجَدۡنَاۤ wajadnaa

ءَابَاۤءَنَا 'abaa'ana

عَلَىٰۤ 'alaa

أُمَّةࣲ Aummah

وَإِنَّا waInna

عَلَىٰۤ 'alaa

ءَاثَـٰرِهِم 'athaarihim

مُّهۡتَدُونَ  mmuhtaduna

٢٢

43:22   Nay, they say, "Indeed, we [we] found our forefathers upon a religion and indeed, we on their footsteps (are) guided."

وَكَذَ ٰلِكَ wakadhaalika

مَاۤ maa

أَرۡسَلۡنَا Arsalna

مِن min

قَبۡلِكَ qablika

فِی fi

قَرۡیَةࣲ qaryah

مِّن mmin

نَّذِیرٍ nnadhirin

إِلَّا Illa

قَالَ qala

مُتۡرَفُوهَاۤ mutrafuhaa

إِنَّا Inna

وَجَدۡنَاۤ wajadnaa

ءَابَاۤءَنَا 'abaa'ana

عَلَىٰۤ 'alaa

أُمَّةࣲ Aummah

وَإِنَّا waInna

عَلَىٰۤ 'alaa

ءَاثَـٰرِهِم 'athaarihim

مُّقۡتَدُونَ  mmuqtaduna

٢٣

43:23   And thus not We sent from before you in a town any warner except said (the) wealthy ones of it, "Indeed, we [we] found our forefathers on a religion, and indeed, we [on] their footsteps (are) following."

۞ قَـٰلَ qaala

أَوَ Awa

لَوۡ law

جِئۡتُكُم jietukum

بِأَهۡدَىٰ biAhdaa

مِمَّا mimma

وَجَدتُّمۡ wajadttum

عَلَیۡهِ 'alayhi

ءَابَاۤءَكُمۡۖ 'abaa'akum

قَالُوۤا۟ qalua

إِنَّا Inna

بِمَاۤ bimaa

أُرۡسِلۡتُم Aursiltum

بِهِۦ bihi

كَـٰفِرُونَ  kaafiruna

٢٤

43:24   He said, "Even if I brought you better guidance than what you found on it your forefathers?" They said, "Indeed, we with what you are sent with [it] (are) disbelievers."

فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا faIntaqamna

مِنۡهُمۡۖ minhum

فَٱنظُرۡ faInzur

كَیۡفَ kayfa

كَانَ kana

عَـٰقِبَةُ 'aaqibahu

ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ  Almukadhdhibina

٢٥

43:25   So We took retribution from them. Then see how was (the) end (of) the deniers.

وَإِذۡ waIdh

قَالَ qala

إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمُ Ibraahimu

لِأَبِیهِ liAbihi

وَقَوۡمِهِۦۤ waqawmihi

إِنَّنِی Innani

بَرَاۤءࣱ baraa'

مِّمَّا mmimma

تَعۡبُدُونَ  ta'buduna

٢٦

43:26   And when Said Ibrahim to his father and his people, "Indeed, I (am) disassociated from what you worship

إِلَّا Illa

ٱلَّذِی Alladhi

فَطَرَنِی fatarani

فَإِنَّهُۥ faInnahu

سَیَهۡدِینِ  sayahdini

٢٧

43:27   Except the One Who created me; and indeed, He will guide me."

وَجَعَلَهَا waja'alaha

كَلِمَةَۢ kalimaha

بَاقِیَةࣰ baqiyah

فِی fi

عَقِبِهِۦ 'aqibihi

لَعَلَّهُمۡ la'allahum

یَرۡجِعُونَ  yarji'una

٢٨

43:28   And he made it a word lasting among his descendents, so that they may return.

بَلۡ bal

مَتَّعۡتُ matta'tu

هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ haauulaa'i

وَءَابَاۤءَهُمۡ wa'abaa'ahum

حَتَّىٰ hattaa

جَاۤءَهُمُ jaa'ahumu

ٱلۡحَقُّ Alhaqqu

وَرَسُولࣱ warasul

مُّبِینࣱ  mmubin

٢٩

43:29   Nay, I gave enjoyment (to) these and their forefathers until came to them the truth and a Messenger clear.

وَلَمَّا walamma

جَاۤءَهُمُ jaa'ahumu

ٱلۡحَقُّ Alhaqqu

قَالُوا۟ qalua

هَـٰذَا haadha

سِحۡرࣱ sihr

وَإِنَّا waInna

بِهِۦ bihi

كَـٰفِرُونَ  kaafiruna

٣٠

43:30   And when came to them the truth, they said, "This (is) magic, and indeed, we of it (are) disbelievers."

وَقَالُوا۟ waqalua

لَوۡلَا lawla

نُزِّلَ nuzzila

هَـٰذَا haadha

ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ Alqur'anu

عَلَىٰ 'alaa

رَجُلࣲ rajul

مِّنَ mmina

ٱلۡقَرۡیَتَیۡنِ Alqaryatayni

عَظِیمٍ  'azimin

٣١

43:31   And they say, "Why not was sent down this the Quran to a man, from the two towns, great?"

أَهُمۡ Ahum

یَقۡسِمُونَ yaqsimuna

رَحۡمَتَ rahmata

رَبِّكَۚ rabbika

نَحۡنُ nahnu

قَسَمۡنَا qasamna

بَیۡنَهُم baynahum

مَّعِیشَتَهُمۡ mma'ishatahum

فِی fi

ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ Alhayawahi

ٱلدُّنۡیَاۚ Addunya

وَرَفَعۡنَا warafa'na

بَعۡضَهُمۡ ba'dahum

فَوۡقَ fawqa

بَعۡضࣲ ba'd

دَرَجَـٰتࣲ darajaat

لِّیَتَّخِذَ lliyattakhidha

بَعۡضُهُم ba'duhum

بَعۡضࣰا ba'da

سُخۡرِیࣰّاۗ sukhriyya

وَرَحۡمَتُ warahmatu

رَبِّكَ rabbika

خَیۡرࣱ khayr

مِّمَّا mmimma

یَجۡمَعُونَ  yajma'una

٣٢

43:32   Do they distribute (the) Mercy (of) your Lord? We [We] distribute among them their livelihood in the life (of) the world, and We raise some of them above others (in) degrees so that may take, some of them, others, (for) service. But (the) Mercy (of) your Lord (is) better than what they accumulate.

وَلَوۡلَاۤ walawlaa

أَن An

یَكُونَ yakuna

ٱلنَّاسُ Annasu

أُمَّةࣰ Aummah

وَ ٰحِدَةࣰ waahidah

لَّجَعَلۡنَا llaja'alna

لِمَن liman

یَكۡفُرُ yakfuru

بِٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ biArrahmaani

لِبُیُوتِهِمۡ libuyutihim

سُقُفࣰا suqufa

مِّن mmin

فِضَّةࣲ fiddah

وَمَعَارِجَ wama'arija

عَلَیۡهَا 'alayha

یَظۡهَرُونَ  yazharuna

٣٣

43:33   And if not that (would) become [the] mankind a community one, We (would have) made for (one) who disbelieves in the Most Gracious for their houses roofs of silver and stairways upon which they mount

وَلِبُیُوتِهِمۡ walibuyutihim

أَبۡوَ ٰبࣰا Abwaaba

وَسُرُرًا wasururana

عَلَیۡهَا 'alayha

یَتَّكِءُونَ  yattaki'una

٣٤

43:34   And for their houses doors and couches upon which they recline

وَزُخۡرُفࣰاۚ wazukhrufa

وَإِن waIn

كُلُّ kullu

ذَ ٰلِكَ dhaalika

لَمَّا lamma

مَتَـٰعُ mataa'u

ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ Alhayawahi

ٱلدُّنۡیَاۚ Addunya

وَٱلۡءَاخِرَةُ waAl'akhirahu

عِندَ 'inda

رَبِّكَ rabbika

لِلۡمُتَّقِینَ  lilmuttaqina

٣٥

43:35   And ornaments of gold. And not (is) all that but an enjoyment (of) the life (of) the world. And the Hereafter with your Lord (is) for the righteous.

وَمَن waman

یَعۡشُ ya'shu

عَن 'an

ذِكۡرِ dhikri

ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ Arrahmaani

نُقَیِّضۡ nuqayyid

لَهُۥ lahu

شَیۡطَـٰنࣰا shaytaana

فَهُوَ fahuwa

لَهُۥ lahu

قَرِینࣱ  qarin

٣٦

43:36   And whoever turns away from (the) remembrance (of) the Most Gracious, We appoint for him a devil, then he (is) to him a companion.

وَإِنَّهُمۡ waInnahum

لَیَصُدُّونَهُمۡ layasuddunahum

عَنِ 'ani

ٱلسَّبِیلِ Assabili

وَیَحۡسَبُونَ wayahsabuna

أَنَّهُم Annahum

مُّهۡتَدُونَ  mmuhtaduna

٣٧

43:37   And indeed, they surely, turn them from the Path and they think that they (are) guided.

حَتَّىٰۤ hattaa

إِذَا Idha

جَاۤءَنَا jaa'ana

قَالَ qala

یَـٰلَیۡتَ yaalayta

بَیۡنِی bayni

وَبَیۡنَكَ wabaynaka

بُعۡدَ bu'da

ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَیۡنِ Almashriqayni

فَبِئۡسَ fabiesa

ٱلۡقَرِینُ  Alqarinu

٣٨

43:38   Until when he comes to Us he says, "O would that between me and between you (were the) distance (of) the East and the West." How wretched is the companion!

وَلَن walan

یَنفَعَكُمُ yanfa'akumu

ٱلۡیَوۡمَ Alyawma

إِذ Idh

ظَّلَمۡتُمۡ zzalamtum

أَنَّكُمۡ Annakum

فِی fi

ٱلۡعَذَابِ Al'adhabi

مُشۡتَرِكُونَ  mushtarikuna

٣٩

43:39   And never will benefit you the Day, when you have wronged, that you (will be) in the punishment sharing.

أَفَأَنتَ AfaAnta

تُسۡمِعُ tusmi'u

ٱلصُّمَّ Assumma

أَوۡ Aw

تَهۡدِی tahdi

ٱلۡعُمۡیَ Al'umya

وَمَن waman

كَانَ kana

فِی fi

ضَلَـٰلࣲ dalaal

مُّبِینࣲ  mmubin

٤٠

43:40   Then can you cause to hear the deaf or guide the blind and (one) who is in an error clear?

فَإِمَّا faImma

نَذۡهَبَنَّ nadhhabanna

بِكَ bika

فَإِنَّا faInna

مِنۡهُم minhum

مُّنتَقِمُونَ  mmuntaqimuna

٤١

43:41   And whether We take away you, then indeed, We, from them (will) take retribution.

أَوۡ Aw

نُرِیَنَّكَ nuriyannaka

ٱلَّذِی Alladhi

وَعَدۡنَـٰهُمۡ wa'adnaahum

فَإِنَّا faInna

عَلَیۡهِم 'alayhim

مُّقۡتَدِرُونَ  mmuqtadiruna

٤٢

43:42   Or We show you that which We have promised them, then indeed, We over them have full power.

فَٱسۡتَمۡسِكۡ faIstamsik

بِٱلَّذِیۤ biAlladhi

أُوحِیَ Auhiya

إِلَیۡكَۖ Ilayka

إِنَّكَ Innaka

عَلَىٰ 'alaa

صِرَ ٰطࣲ siraat

مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ  mmustaqim

٤٣

43:43   So hold fast to that which is revealed to you. Indeed, you (are) on a Path Straight.

وَإِنَّهُۥ waInnahu

لَذِكۡرࣱ ladhikr

لَّكَ llaka

وَلِقَوۡمِكَۖ waliqawmika

وَسَوۡفَ wasawfa

تُسۡءَلُونَ  tus'aluna

٤٤

43:44   And indeed, it (is) surely, a Reminder for you and your people, and soon you will be questioned.

وَسۡءَلۡ was'al

مَنۡ man

أَرۡسَلۡنَا Arsalna

مِن min

قَبۡلِكَ qablika

مِن min

رُّسُلِنَاۤ rrusulinaa

أَجَعَلۡنَا Aja'alna

مِن min

دُونِ duni

ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ Arrahmaani

ءَالِهَةࣰ 'alihah

یُعۡبَدُونَ  yu'baduna

٤٥

43:45   And ask (those) whom We sent from before you of Our Messengers; did We make from besides the Most Gracious gods to be worshipped?

وَلَقَدۡ walaqad

أَرۡسَلۡنَا Arsalna

مُوسَىٰ musaa

بِءَایَـٰتِنَاۤ bi'ayaatinaa

إِلَىٰ Ilaa

فِرۡعَوۡنَ fir'awna

وَمَلَإِی۟هِۦ wamalaIhi

فَقَالَ faqala

إِنِّی Inni

رَسُولُ rasulu

رَبِّ rabbi

ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ  Al'aalamina

٤٦

43:46   And certainly We sent Musa with Our Signs to Firaun and his chiefs, and he said, "Indeed, I am a Messenger (of the) Lord (of) the worlds."

فَلَمَّا falamma

جَاۤءَهُم jaa'ahum

بِءَایَـٰتِنَاۤ bi'ayaatinaa

إِذَا Idha

هُم hum

مِّنۡهَا mminha

یَضۡحَكُونَ  yadhakuna

٤٧

43:47   But when he came to them with Our Signs, behold! They at them laughed.

وَمَا wama

نُرِیهِم nurihim

مِّنۡ mmin

ءَایَةٍ 'ayahin

إِلَّا Illa

هِیَ hiya

أَكۡبَرُ Akbaru

مِنۡ min

أُخۡتِهَاۖ Aukhtiha

وَأَخَذۡنَـٰهُم waAkhadhnaahum

بِٱلۡعَذَابِ biAl'adhabi

لَعَلَّهُمۡ la'allahum

یَرۡجِعُونَ  yarji'una

٤٨

43:48   And not We showed them of a Sign but it (was) greater than its sister, and We seized them with the punishment so that they may return.

وَقَالُوا۟ waqalua

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَ yaayyuha

ٱلسَّاحِرُ Assahiru

ٱدۡعُ Id'u

لَنَا lana

رَبَّكَ rabbaka

بِمَا bima

عَهِدَ 'ahida

عِندَكَ 'indaka

إِنَّنَا Innana

لَمُهۡتَدُونَ  lamuhtaduna

٤٩

43:49   And they said, "O [the] magician! Invoke for us your Lord by what He has made covenant with you. Indeed, we (will) surely be guided."

فَلَمَّا falamma

كَشَفۡنَا kashafna

عَنۡهُمُ 'anhumu

ٱلۡعَذَابَ Al'adhaba

إِذَا Idha

هُمۡ hum

یَنكُثُونَ  yankuthuna

٥٠

43:50   But when We removed from them the punishment behold! They broke (their word).

وَنَادَىٰ wanadaa

فِرۡعَوۡنُ fir'awnu

فِی fi

قَوۡمِهِۦ qawmihi

قَالَ qala

یَـٰقَوۡمِ yaaqawmi

أَلَیۡسَ Alaysa

لِی li

مُلۡكُ mulku

مِصۡرَ misra

وَهَـٰذِهِ wahaadhihi

ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ AlAnhaaru

تَجۡرِی tajri

مِن min

تَحۡتِیۤۚ tahti

أَفَلَا Afala

تُبۡصِرُونَ  tubsiruna

٥١

43:51   And called out Firaun among his people; he said, "O my people! Is not for me (the) kingdom (of) Egypt and these [the] rivers flowing from underneath me? Then do not you see?

أَمۡ Am

أَنَا۠ Ana

خَیۡرࣱ khayr

مِّنۡ mmin

هَـٰذَا haadha

ٱلَّذِی Alladhi

هُوَ huwa

مَهِینࣱ mahin

وَلَا wala

یَكَادُ yakadu

یُبِینُ  yubinu

٥٢

43:52   Or am I better than this, one who - he (is) insignificant and not hardly clear?

فَلَوۡلَاۤ falawlaa

أُلۡقِیَ Aulqiya

عَلَیۡهِ 'alayhi

أَسۡوِرَةࣱ Aswirah

مِّن mmin

ذَهَبٍ dhahabin

أَوۡ Aw

جَاۤءَ jaa'a

مَعَهُ ma'ahu

ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ Almalaaikahu

مُقۡتَرِنِینَ  muqtarinina

٥٣

43:53   Then why not are placed on him bracelets of gold or come with him the Angels accompanying (him)?"

فَٱسۡتَخَفَّ faIstakhaffa

قَوۡمَهُۥ qawmahu

فَأَطَاعُوهُۚ faAta'uhu

إِنَّهُمۡ Innahum

كَانُوا۟ kanua

قَوۡمࣰا qawma

فَـٰسِقِینَ  faasiqina

٥٤

43:54   So he bluffed his people, and they obeyed him. Indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient.

فَلَمَّاۤ falammaa

ءَاسَفُونَا 'asafuna

ٱنتَقَمۡنَا Intaqamna

مِنۡهُمۡ minhum

فَأَغۡرَقۡنَـٰهُمۡ faAghraqnaahum

أَجۡمَعِینَ  Ajma'ina

٥٥

43:55   So when they angered Us, We took retribution from them, and We drowned them all.

فَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُمۡ faja'alnaahum

سَلَفࣰا salafa

وَمَثَلࣰا wamathala

لِّلۡءَاخِرِینَ  llil'akhirina

٥٦

43:56   And We made them a precedent and an example for the later (generations).

۞ وَلَمَّا walamma

ضُرِبَ duriba

ٱبۡنُ Ibnu

مَرۡیَمَ maryama

مَثَلًا mathalana

إِذَا Idha

قَوۡمُكَ qawmuka

مِنۡهُ minhu

یَصِدُّونَ  yasidduna

٥٧

43:57   And when is presented, (the) son (of) Maryam, (as) an example behold! Your people about it laughed aloud.

وَقَالُوۤا۟ waqalua

ءَأَ ٰلِهَتُنَا 'aalihatuna

خَیۡرٌ khayrun

أَمۡ Am

هُوَۚ huwa

مَا ma

ضَرَبُوهُ darabuhu

لَكَ laka

إِلَّا Illa

جَدَلَۢاۚ jadala

بَلۡ bal

هُمۡ hum

قَوۡمٌ qawmun

خَصِمُونَ  khasimuna

٥٨

43:58   And they said, "Are our gods better or he?" Not they present it to you except (for) argument. Nay, they (are) a people argumentative.

إِنۡ In

هُوَ huwa

إِلَّا Illa

عَبۡدٌ 'abdun

أَنۡعَمۡنَا An'amna

عَلَیۡهِ 'alayhi

وَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ waja'alnaahu

مَثَلࣰا mathala

لِّبَنِیۤ llibani

إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ  Israa'ila

٥٩

43:59   Not he (was) except a slave, We bestowed Our favor on him and We made him an example for (the) Children (of) Israel.

وَلَوۡ walaw

نَشَاۤءُ nashaa'u

لَجَعَلۡنَا laja'alna

مِنكُم minkum

مَّلَـٰۤىِٕكَةࣰ mmalaaikah

فِی fi

ٱلۡأَرۡضِ AlArdi

یَخۡلُفُونَ  yakhlufuna

٦٠

43:60   And if We willed, surely We (could have) made among you Angels in the earth succeeding.

وَإِنَّهُۥ waInnahu

لَعِلۡمࣱ la'ilm

لِّلسَّاعَةِ llilssa'ahi

فَلَا fala

تَمۡتَرُنَّ tamtarunna

بِهَا biha

وَٱتَّبِعُونِۚ waIttabi'uni

هَـٰذَا haadha

صِرَ ٰطࣱ siraat

مُّسۡتَقِیمࣱ  mmustaqim

٦١

43:61   And indeed, it surely (is) a knowledge of the Hour. So (do) not (be) doubtful about it, and follow Me. This (is the) Path Straight.

وَلَا wala

یَصُدَّنَّكُمُ yasuddannakumu

ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُۖ Ashshaytaanu

إِنَّهُۥ Innahu

لَكُمۡ lakum

عَدُوࣱّ 'aduww

مُّبِینࣱ  mmubin

٦٢

43:62   And (let) not avert you the Shaitaan. Indeed, he (is) for you an enemy clear.

وَلَمَّا walamma

جَاۤءَ jaa'a

عِیسَىٰ 'isaa

بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ biAlbayyinaati

قَالَ qala

قَدۡ qad

جِئۡتُكُم jietukum

بِٱلۡحِكۡمَةِ biAlhikmahi

وَلِأُبَیِّنَ waliAubayyina

لَكُم lakum

بَعۡضَ ba'da

ٱلَّذِی Alladhi

تَخۡتَلِفُونَ takhtalifuna

فِیهِۖ fihi

فَٱتَّقُوا۟ faIttaqua

ٱللَّهَ Allaha

وَأَطِیعُونِ  waAti'uni

٦٣

43:63   And when came Isa with clear proofs, he said, "Verily, I have come to you with wisdom and that I make clear to you some (of) that which you differ in it. So fear Allah and obey me.

إِنَّ Inna

ٱللَّهَ Allaha

هُوَ huwa

رَبِّی rabbi

وَرَبُّكُمۡ warabbukum

فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ faI'buduhu

هَـٰذَا haadha

صِرَ ٰطࣱ siraat

مُّسۡتَقِیمࣱ  mmustaqim

٦٤

43:64   Indeed, Allah, He (is) my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. This (is) a Path Straight."

فَٱخۡتَلَفَ faIkhtalafa

ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ AlAhzabu

مِنۢ min

بَیۡنِهِمۡۖ baynihim

فَوَیۡلࣱ fawayl

لِّلَّذِینَ llilladhina

ظَلَمُوا۟ zalamua

مِنۡ min

عَذَابِ 'adhabi

یَوۡمٍ yawmin

أَلِیمٍ  Alimin

٦٥

43:65   But differed the factions from among them, so woe to those who wronged from (the) punishment (of the) Day painful.

هَلۡ hal

یَنظُرُونَ yanzuruna

إِلَّا Illa

ٱلسَّاعَةَ Assa'aha

أَن An

تَأۡتِیَهُم taAtiyahum

بَغۡتَةࣰ baghtah

وَهُمۡ wahum

لَا la

یَشۡعُرُونَ  yash'uruna

٦٦

43:66   Are they waiting except (for) the Hour that it should come on them suddenly while they (do) not perceive?

ٱلۡأَخِلَّاۤءُ AlAkhillaa'u

یَوۡمَىِٕذِۭ yawmaaidhi

بَعۡضُهُمۡ ba'duhum

لِبَعۡضٍ liba'din

عَدُوٌّ 'aduwwun

إِلَّا Illa

ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ  Almuttaqina

٦٧

43:67   Friends that Day, some of them to others (will be) enemies except the righteous,

یَـٰعِبَادِ yaa'ibadi

لَا la

خَوۡفٌ khawfun

عَلَیۡكُمُ 'alaykumu

ٱلۡیَوۡمَ Alyawma

وَلَاۤ walaa

أَنتُمۡ Antum

تَحۡزَنُونَ  tahzanuna

٦٨

43:68   "O My slaves! No fear on you this Day and not you will grieve,

ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina

ءَامَنُوا۟ 'amanua

بِءَایَـٰتِنَا bi'ayaatina

وَكَانُوا۟ wakanua

مُسۡلِمِینَ  muslimina

٦٩

43:69   Those who believed in Our Verses and were submissive.

ٱدۡخُلُوا۟ Idkhulua

ٱلۡجَنَّةَ Aljannaha

أَنتُمۡ Antum

وَأَزۡوَ ٰجُكُمۡ waAzwaajukum

تُحۡبَرُونَ  tuhbaruna

٧٠

43:70   Enter Paradise, you and your spouses delighted."

یُطَافُ yutafu

عَلَیۡهِم 'alayhim

بِصِحَافࣲ bisihaf

مِّن mmin

ذَهَبࣲ dhahab

وَأَكۡوَابࣲۖ waAkwab

وَفِیهَا wafiha

مَا ma

تَشۡتَهِیهِ tashtahihi

ٱلۡأَنفُسُ AlAnfusu

وَتَلَذُّ wataladhdhu

ٱلۡأَعۡیُنُۖ AlA'yunu

وَأَنتُمۡ waAntum

فِیهَا fiha

خَـٰلِدُونَ  khaaliduna

٧١

43:71   Will be circulated for them plates of gold and cups. And therein (is) what desires the souls and delights the eyes, and you therein will abide forever.

وَتِلۡكَ watilka

ٱلۡجَنَّةُ Aljannahu

ٱلَّتِیۤ Allati

أُورِثۡتُمُوهَا Aurithtumuha

بِمَا bima

كُنتُمۡ kuntum

تَعۡمَلُونَ  ta'maluna

٧٢

43:72   And this (is) the Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used to do.

لَكُمۡ lakum

فِیهَا fiha

فَـٰكِهَةࣱ faakihah

كَثِیرَةࣱ kathirah

مِّنۡهَا mminha

تَأۡكُلُونَ  taAkuluna

٧٣

43:73   For you therein (are) fruits abundant, from it you will eat.

إِنَّ Inna

ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ Almujrimina

فِی fi

عَذَابِ 'adhabi

جَهَنَّمَ jahannama

خَـٰلِدُونَ  khaaliduna

٧٤

43:74   Indeed, the criminals (will be) in (the) punishment (of) Hell abiding forever.

لَا la

یُفَتَّرُ yufattaru

عَنۡهُمۡ 'anhum

وَهُمۡ wahum

فِیهِ fihi

مُبۡلِسُونَ  mublisuna

٧٥

43:75   Not will it subside for them, and they in it (will) despair.

وَمَا wama

ظَلَمۡنَـٰهُمۡ zalamnaahum

وَلَـٰكِن walaakin

كَانُوا۟ kanua

هُمُ humu

ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ  Azzaalimina

٧٦

43:76   And not We wronged them but they were themselves wrongdoers.

وَنَادَوۡا۟ wanadawa

یَـٰمَـٰلِكُ yaamaaliku

لِیَقۡضِ liyaqdi

عَلَیۡنَا 'alayna

رَبُّكَۖ rabbuka

قَالَ qala

إِنَّكُم Innakum

مَّـٰكِثُونَ  mmaakithuna

٧٧

43:77   And they will call, "O Malik! Let put an end to us your Lord." He (will) say, "Indeed, you (will) remain."

لَقَدۡ laqad

جِئۡنَـٰكُم jienaakum

بِٱلۡحَقِّ biAlhaqqi

وَلَـٰكِنَّ walaakinna

أَكۡثَرَكُمۡ Aktharakum

لِلۡحَقِّ lilhaqqi

كَـٰرِهُونَ  kaarihuna

٧٨

43:78   Certainly, We have brought you the truth, but most of you, to the truth (are) averse.

أَمۡ Am

أَبۡرَمُوۤا۟ Abramua

أَمۡرࣰا Amra

فَإِنَّا faInna

مُبۡرِمُونَ  mubrimuna

٧٩

43:79   Or have they determined an affair? Then indeed, We (are) determined.

أَمۡ Am

یَحۡسَبُونَ yahsabuna

أَنَّا Anna

لَا la

نَسۡمَعُ nasma'u

سِرَّهُمۡ sirrahum

وَنَجۡوَىٰهُمۚ wanajwaahum

بَلَىٰ balaa

وَرُسُلُنَا warusuluna

لَدَیۡهِمۡ ladayhim

یَكۡتُبُونَ  yaktubuna

٨٠

43:80   Or (do) they think that We (can) not hear their secret(s) and their private counsel(s)? Nay, and Our Messengers with them, are recording.

قُلۡ qul

إِن In

كَانَ kana

لِلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ lilrrahmaani

وَلَدࣱ walad

فَأَنَا۠ faAna

أَوَّلُ Awwalu

ٱلۡعَـٰبِدِینَ  Al'aabidina

٨١

43:81   Say, "If had the Most Gracious a son. Then, I (would be the) first (of) the worshippers."

سُبۡحَـٰنَ subhaana

رَبِّ rabbi

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ Assamaawaati

وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ waAlArdi

رَبِّ rabbi

ٱلۡعَرۡشِ Al'arshi

عَمَّا 'amma

یَصِفُونَ  yasifuna

٨٢

43:82   Glory be (to the) Lord, (of) the heavens and the earth, (the) Lord (of) the Throne, above what they ascribe.

فَذَرۡهُمۡ fadharhum

یَخُوضُوا۟ yakhudua

وَیَلۡعَبُوا۟ wayal'abua

حَتَّىٰ hattaa

یُلَـٰقُوا۟ yulaaqua

یَوۡمَهُمُ yawmahumu

ٱلَّذِی Alladhi

یُوعَدُونَ  yu'aduna

٨٣

43:83   So leave them (to) converse vainly and play until they meet their Day which they are promised

وَهُوَ wahuwa

ٱلَّذِی Alladhi

فِی fi

ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ Assamaa'i

إِلَـٰهࣱ Ilaah

وَفِی wafi

ٱلۡأَرۡضِ AlArdi

إِلَـٰهࣱۚ Ilaah

وَهُوَ wahuwa

ٱلۡحَكِیمُ Alhakimu

ٱلۡعَلِیمُ  Al'alimu

٨٤

43:84   And He (is) the One Who (is) in the heaven - God, and in the earth - God. And He (is) the All-Wise, the All-Knower.

وَتَبَارَكَ watabaraka

ٱلَّذِی Alladhi

لَهُۥ lahu

مُلۡكُ mulku

ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ Assamaawaati

وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ waAlArdi

وَمَا wama

بَیۡنَهُمَا baynahuma

وَعِندَهُۥ wa'indahu

عِلۡمُ 'ilmu

ٱلسَّاعَةِ Assa'ahi

وَإِلَیۡهِ waIlayhi

تُرۡجَعُونَ  turja'una

٨٥

43:85   And blessed (is) the One Who - to Whom (belongs the) dominion (of) the heavens and the earth and whatever (is) between both of them and with Him (is the) knowledge (of) the Hour, and to Him you will be returned.

وَلَا wala

یَمۡلِكُ yamliku

ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina

یَدۡعُونَ yad'una

مِن min

دُونِهِ dunihi

ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةَ Ashshafaa'aha

إِلَّا Illa

مَن man

شَهِدَ shahida

بِٱلۡحَقِّ biAlhaqqi

وَهُمۡ wahum

یَعۡلَمُونَ  ya'lamuna

٨٦

43:86   And not have power those whom they invoke from besides Him (for) the intercession; except who testifies to the truth, and they know.

وَلَىِٕن walaain

سَأَلۡتَهُم saAltahum

مَّنۡ mman

خَلَقَهُمۡ khalaqahum

لَیَقُولُنَّ layaqulunna

ٱللَّهُۖ Allahu

فَأَنَّىٰ faAnnaa

یُؤۡفَكُونَ  yuufakuna

٨٧

43:87   And if you ask them who created them, they will certainly say, "Allah." Then how are they deluded?

وَقِیلِهِۦ waqilihi

یَـٰرَبِّ yaarabbi

إِنَّ Inna

هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ haauulaa'i

قَوۡمࣱ qawm

لَّا lla

یُؤۡمِنُونَ  yuuminuna

٨٨

43:88   And his saying, "O my Lord! Indeed, these (are) a people (who do) not believe."

فَٱصۡفَحۡ faIsfah

عَنۡهُمۡ 'anhum

وَقُلۡ waqul

سَلَـٰمࣱۚ salaam

فَسَوۡفَ fasawfa

یَعۡلَمُونَ  ya'lamuna

٨٩

43:89   So turn away from them and say, "Peace." But soon they will know.
