۞ نۤۚ n
وَٱلۡقَلَمِ waAlqalami
وَمَا wama
یَسۡطُرُونَ  yasturuna
١
68:1 Nun. By the pen and what they write,
مَاۤ maa
أَنتَ Anta
بِنِعۡمَةِ bini'mahi
رَبِّكَ rabbika
بِمَجۡنُونࣲ  bimajnun
٢
68:2 Not you (are), by (the) Grace (of) your Lord, a madman.
وَإِنَّ waInna
لَكَ laka
لَأَجۡرًا laAjrana
غَیۡرَ ghayra
مَمۡنُونࣲ  mamnun
٣
68:3 And indeed, for you surely (is) a reward without end.
وَإِنَّكَ waInnaka
لَعَلَىٰ la'alaa
خُلُقٍ khuluqin
عَظِیمࣲ  'azim
٤
68:4 And indeed, you surely (are) (of) a moral character great.
فَسَتُبۡصِرُ fasatubsiru
وَیُبۡصِرُونَ  wayubsiruna
٥
68:5 So you will see and they will see,
بِأَییِّكُمُ biAyyikumu
ٱلۡمَفۡتُونُ  Almaftunu
٦
68:6 Which of you (is) the afflicted one.
إِنَّ Inna
رَبَّكَ rabbaka
هُوَ huwa
أَعۡلَمُ A'lamu
بِمَن biman
ضَلَّ dalla
عَن 'an
سَبِیلِهِۦ sabilihi
وَهُوَ wahuwa
أَعۡلَمُ A'lamu
بِٱلۡمُهۡتَدِینَ  biAlmuhtadina
٧
68:7 Indeed, your Lord, He (is) most knowing of (he) who has strayed from His way, and He (is) most knowing of the guided ones.
فَلَا fala
تُطِعِ tuti'i
ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ  Almukadhdhibina
٨
68:8 So (do) not obey the deniers.
وَدُّوا۟ waddua
لَوۡ law
تُدۡهِنُ tudhinu
فَیُدۡهِنُونَ  fayudhinuna
٩
68:9 They wish that you should compromise, so they would compromise.
وَلَا wala
تُطِعۡ tuti'
كُلَّ kulla
حَلَّافࣲ hallaf
مَّهِینٍ  mmahinin
١٠
68:10 And (do) not obey every habitual swearer worthless,
هَمَّازࣲ hammaz
مَّشَّاۤءِۭ mmashshaa'i
بِنَمِیمࣲ  binamim
١١
68:11 Defamer going about with malicious gossip,
مَّنَّاعࣲ mmanna'
لِّلۡخَیۡرِ llilkhayri
مُعۡتَدٍ mu'tadin
أَثِیمٍ  Athimin
١٢
68:12 A preventer, of (the) good, transgressor, sinful,
عُتُلِّۭ 'utulli
بَعۡدَ ba'da
ذَ ٰلِكَ dhaalika
زَنِیمٍ  zanimin
١٣
68:13 Cruel, after (all) that utterly useless.
أَن An
كَانَ kana
ذَا dha
مَالࣲ mal
وَبَنِینَ  wabanina
١٤
68:14 Because (he) is a possessor (of) wealth and children,
إِذَا Idha
تُتۡلَىٰ tutlaa
عَلَیۡهِ 'alayhi
ءَایَـٰتُنَا 'ayaatuna
قَالَ qala
أَسَـٰطِیرُ Asaatiru
ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ  AlAwwalina
١٥
68:15 When are recited to him Our Verses, he says, "Stories (of) the former (people)."
سَنَسِمُهُۥ sanasimuhu
عَلَى 'alaa
ٱلۡخُرۡطُومِ  Alkhurtumi
١٦
68:16 We will brand him on the snout.
إِنَّا Inna
بَلَوۡنَـٰهُمۡ balawnaahum
كَمَا kama
بَلَوۡنَاۤ balawnaa
أَصۡحَـٰبَ Ashaaba
ٱلۡجَنَّةِ Aljannahi
إِذۡ Idh
أَقۡسَمُوا۟ Aqsamua
لَیَصۡرِمُنَّهَا layasrimunnaha
مُصۡبِحِینَ  musbihina
١٧
68:17 Indeed, We have tried them as We tried (the) companions (of) the garden, when they swore to pluck its fruit (in the) morning,
وَلَا wala
یَسۡتَثۡنُونَ  yastathnuna
١٨
68:18 And not making exception.
فَطَافَ fatafa
عَلَیۡهَا 'alayha
طَاۤىِٕفࣱ taaif
مِّن mmin
رَّبِّكَ rrabbika
وَهُمۡ wahum
نَاۤىِٕمُونَ  naaimuna
١٩
68:19 So there came upon it a visitation from your Lord, while they were asleep.
فَأَصۡبَحَتۡ faAsbahat
كَٱلصَّرِیمِ  kaAssarimi
٢٠
68:20 So it became as if reaped.
فَتَنَادَوۡا۟ fatanadawa
مُصۡبِحِینَ  musbihina
٢١
68:21 And they called one another (at) morning,
أَنِ Ani
ٱغۡدُوا۟ Ighdua
عَلَىٰ 'alaa
حَرۡثِكُمۡ harthikum
إِن In
كُنتُمۡ kuntum
صَـٰرِمِینَ  saarimina
٢٢
68:22 That "Go early to your crop if you would pluck (the) fruit."
فَٱنطَلَقُوا۟ faIntalaqua
وَهُمۡ wahum
یَتَخَـٰفَتُونَ  yatakhaafatuna
٢٣
68:23 So they went, while they lowered (their) voices,
أَن An
لَّا lla
یَدۡخُلَنَّهَا yadkhulannaha
ٱلۡیَوۡمَ Alyawma
عَلَیۡكُم 'alaykum
مِّسۡكِینࣱ  mmiskin
٢٤
68:24 That "Not will enter it today upon you any poor person."
وَغَدَوۡا۟ waghadawa
عَلَىٰ 'alaa
حَرۡدࣲ hard
قَـٰدِرِینَ  qaadirina
٢٥
68:25 And they went early with determination able.
فَلَمَّا falamma
رَأَوۡهَا raAwha
قَالُوۤا۟ qalua
إِنَّا Inna
لَضَاۤلُّونَ  ladaalluna
٢٦
68:26 But when they saw it, they said, "Indeed, we (are) surely lost.
بَلۡ bal
نَحۡنُ nahnu
مَحۡرُومُونَ  mahrumuna
٢٧
68:27 Nay! We (are) deprived."
قَالَ qala
أَوۡسَطُهُمۡ Awsatuhum
أَلَمۡ Alam
أَقُل Aqul
لَّكُمۡ llakum
لَوۡلَا lawla
تُسَبِّحُونَ  tusabbihuna
٢٨
68:28 Said (the) most moderate of them, "Did not I tell you, 'Why not you glorify (Allah)?'"
قَالُوا۟ qalua
سُبۡحَـٰنَ subhaana
رَبِّنَاۤ rabbinaa
إِنَّا Inna
كُنَّا kunna
ظَـٰلِمِینَ  zaalimina
٢٩
68:29 They said, "Glory be (to) our Lord! Indeed, we [we] were wrongdoers."
فَأَقۡبَلَ faAqbala
بَعۡضُهُمۡ ba'duhum
عَلَىٰ 'alaa
بَعۡضࣲ ba'd
یَتَلَـٰوَمُونَ  yatalaawamuna
٣٠
68:30 Then approached, some of them to others blaming each other.
قَالُوا۟ qalua
یَـٰوَیۡلَنَاۤ yaawaylanaa
إِنَّا Inna
كُنَّا kunna
طَـٰغِینَ  taaghina
٣١
68:31 They said, "O woe to us! Indeed, we [we] were transgressors.
عَسَىٰ 'asaa
رَبُّنَاۤ rabbunaa
أَن An
یُبۡدِلَنَا yubdilana
خَیۡرࣰا khayra
مِّنۡهَاۤ mminhaa
إِنَّاۤ Innaa
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
رَبِّنَا rabbina
رَ ٰغِبُونَ  raaghibuna
٣٢
68:32 Perhaps, our Lord, [that] will substitute for us a better than it. Indeed, we to our Lord turn devoutly."
كَذَ ٰلِكَ kadhaalika
ٱلۡعَذَابُۖ Al'adhabu
وَلَعَذَابُ wala'adhabu
ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ Al'akhirahi
أَكۡبَرُۚ Akbaru
لَوۡ law
كَانُوا۟ kanua
یَعۡلَمُونَ  ya'lamuna
٣٣
68:33 Such (is) the punishment. And surely the punishment (of) the Hereafter (is) greater, if they know.
إِنَّ Inna
لِلۡمُتَّقِینَ lilmuttaqina
عِندَ 'inda
رَبِّهِمۡ rabbihim
جَنَّـٰتِ jannaati
ٱلنَّعِیمِ  Anna'imi
٣٤
68:34 Indeed, for the righteous with their Lord (are) Gardens (of) Delight.
أَفَنَجۡعَلُ Afanaj'alu
ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِینَ Almuslimina
كَٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ  kaAlmujrimina
٣٥
68:35 Then will We treat the Muslims like the criminals?
مَا ma
لَكُمۡ lakum
كَیۡفَ kayfa
تَحۡكُمُونَ  tahkumuna
٣٦
68:36 What (is) for you? How (do) you judge?
أَمۡ Am
لَكُمۡ lakum
كِتَـٰبࣱ kitaab
فِیهِ fihi
تَدۡرُسُونَ  tadrusuna
٣٧
68:37 Or (is) for you a book wherein you learn,
إِنَّ Inna
لَكُمۡ lakum
فِیهِ fihi
لَمَا lama
تَخَیَّرُونَ  takhayyaruna
٣٨
68:38 Indeed for you in it what you choose?
أَمۡ Am
لَكُمۡ lakum
أَیۡمَـٰنٌ Aymaanun
عَلَیۡنَا 'alayna
بَـٰلِغَةٌ baalighahun
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
یَوۡمِ yawmi
ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ Alqiyaamahi
إِنَّ Inna
لَكُمۡ lakum
لَمَا lama
تَحۡكُمُونَ  tahkumuna
٣٩
68:39 Or for you oaths from us, reaching to (the) Day (of) the Resurrection, indeed, for you (is) what you judge?
سَلۡهُمۡ salhum
أَیُّهُم Ayyuhum
بِذَ ٰلِكَ bidhaalika
زَعِیمٌ  za'imun
٤٠
68:40 Ask them, which of them for that (is) responsible.
أَمۡ Am
لَهُمۡ lahum
شُرَكَاۤءُ shurakaa'u
فَلۡیَأۡتُوا۟ falyaAtua
بِشُرَكَاۤىِٕهِمۡ bishurakaaihim
إِن In
كَانُوا۟ kanua
صَـٰدِقِینَ  saadiqina
٤١
68:41 Or (are) for them partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they are truthful.
یَوۡمَ yawma
یُكۡشَفُ yukshafu
عَن 'an
سَاقࣲ saq
وَیُدۡعَوۡنَ wayud'awna
إِلَى Ilaa
ٱلسُّجُودِ Assujudi
فَلَا fala
یَسۡتَطِیعُونَ  yastati'una
٤٢
68:42 (The) Day will be uncovered from the shin and they will be called to prostrate, but not they will be able,
خَـٰشِعَةً khaashi'ahan
أَبۡصَـٰرُهُمۡ Absaaruhum
تَرۡهَقُهُمۡ tarhaquhum
ذِلَّةࣱۖ dhillah
وَقَدۡ waqad
كَانُوا۟ kanua
یُدۡعَوۡنَ yud'awna
إِلَى Ilaa
ٱلسُّجُودِ Assujudi
وَهُمۡ wahum
سَـٰلِمُونَ  saalimuna
٤٣
68:43 Humbled, their eyes, will cover them humiliation. And indeed, they were called to prostrate while they (were) sound.
فَذَرۡنِی fadharni
وَمَن waman
یُكَذِّبُ yukadhdhibu
بِهَـٰذَا bihaadha
ٱلۡحَدِیثِۖ Alhadithi
سَنَسۡتَدۡرِجُهُم sanastadrijuhum
مِّنۡ mmin
حَیۡثُ haythu
لَا la
یَعۡلَمُونَ  ya'lamuna
٤٤
68:44 So leave Me and whoever denies this Statement, We will progressively lead them from where not they know.
وَأُمۡلِی waAumli
لَهُمۡۚ lahum
إِنَّ Inna
كَیۡدِی kaydi
مَتِینٌ  matinun
٤٥
68:45 And I will give respite to them. Indeed, My plan (is) firm.
أَمۡ Am
تَسۡءَلُهُمۡ tas'aluhum
أَجۡرࣰا Ajra
فَهُم fahum
مِّن mmin
مَّغۡرَمࣲ mmaghram
مُّثۡقَلُونَ  mmuthqaluna
٤٦
68:46 Or you ask them a payment, so they from (the) debt (are) burdened?
أَمۡ Am
عِندَهُمُ 'indahumu
ٱلۡغَیۡبُ Alghaybu
فَهُمۡ fahum
یَكۡتُبُونَ  yaktubuna
٤٧
68:47 Or (is) with them the unseen, so they write it?
فَٱصۡبِرۡ faIsbir
لِحُكۡمِ lihukmi
رَبِّكَ rabbika
وَلَا wala
تَكُن takun
كَصَاحِبِ kasahibi
ٱلۡحُوتِ Alhuti
إِذۡ Idh
نَادَىٰ nadaa
وَهُوَ wahuwa
مَكۡظُومࣱ  makzum
٤٨
68:48 So be patient for (the) decision (of) your Lord, and (do) not be like (the) companion (of) the fish, when he called out, while he (was) distressed.
لَّوۡلَاۤ llawlaa
أَن An
تَدَ ٰرَكَهُۥ tadaarakahu
نِعۡمَةࣱ ni'mah
مِّن mmin
رَّبِّهِۦ rrabbihi
لَنُبِذَ lanubidha
بِٱلۡعَرَاۤءِ biAl'araa'i
وَهُوَ wahuwa
مَذۡمُومࣱ  madhmum
٤٩
68:49 If not that overtook him a Favor from his Lord, surely he would have been thrown onto (the) naked shore while he (was) blamed.
فَٱجۡتَبَـٰهُ faIjtabaahu
رَبُّهُۥ rabbuhu
فَجَعَلَهُۥ faja'alahu
مِنَ mina
ٱلصَّـٰلِحِینَ  Assaalihina
٥٠
68:50 But chose him, his Lord, and made him of the righteous.
وَإِن waIn
یَكَادُ yakadu
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
كَفَرُوا۟ kafarua
لَیُزۡلِقُونَكَ layuzliqunaka
بِأَبۡصَـٰرِهِمۡ biAbsaarihim
لَمَّا lamma
سَمِعُوا۟ sami'ua
ٱلذِّكۡرَ Adhdhikra
وَیَقُولُونَ wayaquluna
إِنَّهُۥ Innahu
لَمَجۡنُونࣱ  lamajnun
٥١
68:51 And indeed, would almost those who disbelieve, surely make you slip with their look when they hear the Message, and they say, "Indeed, he (is) surely mad."
وَمَا wama
هُوَ huwa
إِلَّا Illa
ذِكۡرࣱ dhikr
لِّلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ  llil'aalamina
٥٢
68:52 And not it (is) but a Reminder to the worlds.
