Quran 68 : 43

With their eyes subdued, humiliation will cover them. They were invited to fall prostrate when they were whole and able.

Lowering their looks, abasement shall attack them. And indeed, they were called to the prostration while they were safe.

their eyes humbled, abasement shall overcome them; for they had indeed been called to prostrate while they were yet sound

Their eyes drooping, humiliation will overwhelm them! And they had been repeatedly invited to prostrate when they were able

With eyes downcast, abasement stupefying them. And they had been summoned to prostrate themselves while they were yet unhurt

lowering their eyes, humiliation overcomes them, and they had been called to show humbleness while they were sound and healthy.

With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; and indeed they used to be called to prostrate themselves whilst they were healthy

Their eyes humbled with terror, humiliated! Whereas they used to be invited to prostrate while they were sound and in the world.

Lowered will be their eyes, disgrace overwhelming them. They had indeed been called to bow in homage when they were free of blame

Their eyes will be cast down, disgrace will cover them, seeing that they had been asked to bow in adoration while they were whole

Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe

humbled shall be their eyes, and abasement shall overspread them, for they had been summoned to bow themselves while they were whole

With sights cast down overwhelmed by humiliation and they indeed used to be called to the prostration while they were at peace [at heart].

Were humbled their sights, lowness overstrained them. And before they were already being called to the prostration while they were intact.

Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them seeing that they had been called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe

Their looks shall be downcast: shame shall cover them: because, while yet in safety, they were invited to bow in worship, but would not obey

Their eyes will be downcast, darkened by debasement; for they were called on to prostrate when they were in full possession of their faculties.

Utterly humbled, they shall stand with eyes downcast; for they had long since been bidden to prostrate themselves when they were safe and sound

With their eyes downcast, they will be enveloped by ignominy. They used to be called upon to prostrate when they were healthy (but they did not.

Downcast will be their looks; abjectness will overspread them. Surely they had been called upon to Prostrate themselves while yet they were whole

Downcast would be their eyes (in shame); disgrace shall overwhelm them. They were asked to prostrate in this life, when they were sound and solid

Their eyes will be downcast. Humiliation will overwhelm them [as they recall] that they were indeed summoned to prostrate when they were healthy.

Their eyes will be humbled, and humiliation shall spread over them for they were already ordered to prostrate themselves when they were undiminished

Their eyes will be lowered and disgrace will cover them. They had certainly been told to prostrate themselves before God when they were safe and sound

their looks will be humbled, disgrace will cover them. And indeed they used to be called for prostrations when they were sound, (but they used to refuse).

Their looks shall be cast down: Ignominy shall attend them: For that they were invited to the worship of God, while they were in safety, but would not hear

and their eyes will be downcast and they will be overwhelmed with shame: they were invited to prostrate themselves when they were safe [but refused]

With a humbled look [in their eyes], they will be overcast by abasement. Certainly they were summoned to prostrate themselves while they were yet sound

Their eyes shall be downcast and ignominy shall overwhelm them. For when they were safe and sound, they were summoned to prostrate themselves, (and they refused)

Their eyes will be cast down, and humiliation will be covering them, and they were indeed called upon to prostrate themselves in the world when they were sound healthy.

Their glances will be downcast and ignominy shall cover them; they were called upon to prostrate [in this world], when they were safe and sound, [but they did not obey]

Their sight will be that which is humbled. Abasement will come over them and they had before this been called to prostration while they were ones who are healthy.

Their eyes will be cast down, and humiliation will cover them; and they were, indeed, called upon to prostrate themselves when they were safe and sound, but they did not

Their eyes full of shame and sorrow they will be reminded of the time that they had the opportunity to fall down in prostration and worship their Lord but they refused to

Downcast will be their eyes, with abasement overwhelming them. Assuredly they were called to prostrate while they were yet safe and whole (in this world, but they did not)

Submissive will be their be holdings, (i.e., gazes) humbleness oppressing them. And they had been already called to prostrate themselves while (Literally: and) they were safe

Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not)

Their eyesights/understanding (are) humble/submissive , humiliation/disgrace burdens/depresses them , and they had become being called repeatedly to the prostration and they are safe/secure

Their eyes will be cast down, humiliation will cover them; because they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), and they were healthy and good (in the world, but they refused to do so).

with eyes downcast, totally covered with disgrace. For they were ˹always˺ called to prostrate ˹in the world˺ when they were fully capable ˹but they chose not to˺.

downcast will be their eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them - seeing that they had been called upon [in vain] to prostrate themselves [before Him] while they were yet sound [and alive]

Their looks will be downcast and they will be overwhelmed with disgrace. (Before this state of theirs) they had been called upon to prostrate themselves (before God) while they were (still) safe and sound (but they had refused)

Their eyes becoming in castdown position, humiliation covers them, and surely they used to be called towards prostrations while they were healthy and sound (but they avoided Prayers and bypassed the teachings of Allah’s Book)

Their eyes will be cast down (with terror and shame) and disgrace will be spreading over them, whereas they were called to prostrate themselves (in the world also) when they were healthy (but they, even then, refused to fall prostrate)

Their eyes will be cast down— Intense shame will cover them: Seeing that they had been summoned before to prostrate themselves (in love and prayer to Allah and His admiration) while they were whole, (human beings in this world and they had refused)
