Quran 68 : 18
And not making exception.
وَلَا
Walā
يَسْتَثْنُونَ
Yastathnūna
with no exceptions.
But added no reserve
And made no exception;
Without any reservation
They were without doubt.
Without making exception
And not making exception
And they made no exception
And they made no exception
and they made no exceptions.
They were so absolutely sure.
without saying: If Allah wills.
And they made not the exception
But they made not the exception
Without saying “If Allah wills”...
And nor they exempt/make exception
And they didn’t make an exception.
and they did not make any exception
and they added not the saving words
without saying, If it be God's will
And they said not 'if Allah please'.
And they will not make an exception.
But without making a contingency plan
Without saying: “If Allâh wills it.”
Without saying: “If Allâh wills it.”
leaving no thought for Allah’s Will.
without adding any reservation.⁴
And they did not have any reservations.
without adding ("if God wills")
And made no exception (for the needy poor)
Without saying: Insha Allah (If Allah will)
and made no allowance [for the Will of God].
and added not the exception, if it please God
And made no exception (for the Will of Allah)
And made no exception (for the Will of Allah)
But did not add: "If God may please."
And would not set aside a portion (for the poor)
And they forgot to say: “God willing.”
And they did not say, “If Allah wills”
and made no allowance [for the Will of God]
and made no allowance [for the will of God]
without making any allowance (for the will of Allah)
They make no exception by saying if God wills.
And they made no exception and said not `If God Please.
And were not willing to set aside a portion (for the poor)
And were not willing to set aside a portion (for the poor)
They did not make an allowance [by saying, “God willing”].
But made no reservation, ("If it be Allah's Will")
without adding to their swearing, (Allah willing, InshaAllah)
and they did not like to keep aside (a portion for the poor).
and did not make any exception (by saying insha‘allah )
and did not make any reservation about having a second chance;
and did not make any reservation about having a second chance;
but did not say the redeeming words, ´If Allah wills´.
and they did not make any exceptions [by saying ‘if Allah wills’].
They allowed no exception, (They did not say, "If Allah pleases")
And they did not make any exception (saying ‘if Allah wills’ or for the share of the orphans)
But made no reservation, (by saying: "Insha-Allah", or "If Allah Wills it."
And (they were so sure of it that) they made no reservation (for the poor and did not say, `If it be Allah's will')
They made no allowance (in their oaths, being oblivious of the rights of the needy and oblivious of God’s will)
and they make no exception or reservation [i.e., did not utter the words Insha Allaho (if Allah Willed)]
