Surah Al-Mursalaat • Quran 77

وَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَـٰتِ waAlmursalaati
عُرۡفࣰا  'urfa
١
77:1 By the ones sent forth, one after another,
فَٱلۡعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ faAl'aasifaati
عَصۡفࣰا  'asfa
٢
77:2 And the winds that blow violently,
وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَ ٰتِ waAnnaashiraati
نَشۡرࣰا  nashra
٣
77:3 And the ones that scatter far and wide,
فَٱلۡفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ faAlfaariqaati
فَرۡقࣰا  farqa
٤
77:4 And those who separate (by the) Criterion,
فَٱلۡمُلۡقِیَـٰتِ faAlmulqiyaati
ذِكۡرًا  dhikrana
٥
77:5 And those who bring down (the) Reminder,
عُذۡرًا 'udhrana
أَوۡ Aw
نُذۡرًا  nudhrana
٦
77:6 (As) justification or warning,
إِنَّمَا Innama
تُوعَدُونَ tu'aduna
لَوَ ٰقِعࣱ  lawaaqi'
٧
77:7 Indeed, what you are promised will surely occur.
فَإِذَا faIdha
ٱلنُّجُومُ Annujumu
طُمِسَتۡ  tumisat
٨
77:8 So when the stars are obliterated,
وَإِذَا waIdha
ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ Assamaa'u
فُرِجَتۡ  furijat
٩
77:9 And when the heaven is cleft asunder,
وَإِذَا waIdha
ٱلۡجِبَالُ Aljibalu
نُسِفَتۡ  nusifat
١٠
77:10 And when the mountains are blown away,
وَإِذَا waIdha
ٱلرُّسُلُ Arrusulu
أُقِّتَتۡ  Auqqitat
١١
77:11 And when the Messengers are gathered to their appointed time.
لِأَیِّ liAyyi
یَوۡمٍ yawmin
أُجِّلَتۡ  Aujjilat
١٢
77:12 For what Day are (these) postponed?
لِیَوۡمِ liyawmi
ٱلۡفَصۡلِ  Alfasli
١٣
77:13 For (the) Day (of) Judgment.
وَمَاۤ wamaa
أَدۡرَىٰكَ Adraaka
مَا ma
یَوۡمُ yawmu
ٱلۡفَصۡلِ  Alfasli
١٤
77:14 And what will make you know what (is the) Day (of) the Judgment?
وَیۡلࣱ wayl
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ  llilmukadhdhibina
١٥
77:15 Woe that Day to the deniers
أَلَمۡ Alam
نُهۡلِكِ nuhliki
ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ  AlAwwalina
١٦
77:16 Did not We destroy the former (people)?
ثُمَّ thumma
نُتۡبِعُهُمُ nutbi'uhumu
ٱلۡءَاخِرِینَ  Al'akhirina
١٧
77:17 Then We follow them up (with) the later ones.
كَذَ ٰلِكَ kadhaalika
نَفۡعَلُ naf'alu
بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ  biAlmujrimina
١٨
77:18 Thus We deal with the criminals.
وَیۡلࣱ wayl
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ  llilmukadhdhibina
١٩
77:19 Woe that Day to the deniers.
أَلَمۡ Alam
نَخۡلُقكُّم nakhluqkkum
مِّن mmin
مَّاۤءࣲ mmaa'
مَّهِینࣲ  mmahin
٢٠
77:20 Did not We create you from a water despicable?
فَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ faja'alnaahu
فِی fi
قَرَارࣲ qarar
مَّكِینٍ  mmakinin
٢١
77:21 Then We placed it in an abode safe
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
قَدَرࣲ qadar
مَّعۡلُومࣲ  mma'lum
٢٢
77:22 For a period known.
فَقَدَرۡنَا faqadarna
فَنِعۡمَ fani'ma
ٱلۡقَـٰدِرُونَ  Alqaadiruna
٢٣
77:23 So We measured, and Best (are We to) measure!
وَیۡلࣱ wayl
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ  llilmukadhdhibina
٢٤
77:24 Woe that Day to the deniers.
أَلَمۡ Alam
نَجۡعَلِ naj'ali
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ AlArda
كِفَاتًا  kifatana
٢٥
77:25 Have not We made the earth a receptacle
أَحۡیَاۤءࣰ Ahyaa'
وَأَمۡوَ ٰتࣰا  waAmwaata
٢٦
77:26 (For the) living and (the) dead,
وَجَعَلۡنَا waja'alna
فِیهَا fiha
رَوَ ٰسِیَ rawaasiya
شَـٰمِخَـٰتࣲ shaamikhaat
وَأَسۡقَیۡنَـٰكُم waAsqaynaakum
مَّاۤءࣰ mmaa'
فُرَاتࣰا  furata
٢٧
77:27 And We made therein firmly set mountains lofty, and We gave you to drink water - sweet?
وَیۡلࣱ wayl
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ  llilmukadhdhibina
٢٨
77:28 Woe that Day to the deniers.
ٱنطَلِقُوۤا۟ Intaliqua
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
مَا ma
كُنتُم kuntum
بِهِۦ bihi
تُكَذِّبُونَ  tukadhdhibuna
٢٩
77:29 "Proceed to what you used to in it deny,
ٱنطَلِقُوۤا۟ Intaliqua
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
ظِلࣲّ zill
ذِی dhi
ثَلَـٰثِ thalaathi
شُعَبࣲ  shu'ab
٣٠
77:30 Proceed to a shadow having three columns
لَّا lla
ظَلِیلࣲ zalil
وَلَا wala
یُغۡنِی yughni
مِنَ mina
ٱللَّهَبِ  Allahabi
٣١
77:31 No cool shade and not availing against the flame.
إِنَّهَا Innaha
تَرۡمِی tarmi
بِشَرَرࣲ bisharar
كَٱلۡقَصۡرِ  kaAlqasri
٣٢
77:32 Indeed, it throws up sparks as the fortress,
كَأَنَّهُۥ kaAnnahu
جِمَـٰلَتࣱ jimaalat
صُفۡرࣱ  sufr
٣٣
77:33 As if they (were) camels yellow.
وَیۡلࣱ wayl
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ  llilmukadhdhibina
٣٤
77:34 Woe that Day to the deniers.
هَـٰذَا haadha
یَوۡمُ yawmu
لَا la
یَنطِقُونَ  yantiquna
٣٥
77:35 This (is) a Day not they will speak,
وَلَا wala
یُؤۡذَنُ yuudhanu
لَهُمۡ lahum
فَیَعۡتَذِرُونَ  faya'tadhiruna
٣٦
77:36 And not will it be permitted for them to make excuses.
وَیۡلࣱ wayl
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ  llilmukadhdhibina
٣٧
77:37 Woe that Day to the deniers.
هَـٰذَا haadha
یَوۡمُ yawmu
ٱلۡفَصۡلِۖ Alfasli
جَمَعۡنَـٰكُمۡ jama'naakum
وَٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ  waAlAwwalina
٣٨
77:38 This (is the) Day (of) Judgment; We have gathered you and the former (people).
فَإِن faIn
كَانَ kana
لَكُمۡ lakum
كَیۡدࣱ kayd
فَكِیدُونِ  fakiduni
٣٩
77:39 So if is for you a plan, then plan against Me.
وَیۡلࣱ wayl
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ  llilmukadhdhibina
٤٠
77:40 Woe that Day to the deniers.
إِنَّ Inna
ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ Almuttaqina
فِی fi
ظِلَـٰلࣲ zilaal
وَعُیُونࣲ  wa'uyun
٤١
77:41 Indeed, the righteous (will be) in shades and springs,
وَفَوَ ٰكِهَ wafawaakiha
مِمَّا mimma
یَشۡتَهُونَ  yashtahuna
٤٢
77:42 And fruits from what they desire.
كُلُوا۟ kulua
وَٱشۡرَبُوا۟ waIshrabua
هَنِیۤءَۢا hani'a
بِمَا bima
كُنتُمۡ kuntum
تَعۡمَلُونَ  ta'maluna
٤٣
77:43 "Eat and drink (in) satisfaction for what you used to do."
إِنَّا Inna
كَذَ ٰلِكَ kadhaalika
نَجۡزِی najzi
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِینَ  Almuhsinina
٤٤
77:44 Indeed, We thus reward the good-doers.
وَیۡلࣱ wayl
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ  llilmukadhdhibina
٤٥
77:45 Woe that Day to the deniers.
كُلُوا۟ kulua
وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ watamatta'ua
قَلِیلًا qalilana
إِنَّكُم Innakum
مُّجۡرِمُونَ  mmujrimuna
٤٦
77:46 Eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you (are) criminals."
وَیۡلࣱ wayl
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ  llilmukadhdhibina
٤٧
77:47 Woe that Day to the deniers.
وَإِذَا waIdha
قِیلَ qila
لَهُمُ lahumu
ٱرۡكَعُوا۟ Irka'ua
لَا la
یَرۡكَعُونَ  yarka'una
٤٨
77:48 And when it is said to them, "Bow," not they bow.
وَیۡلࣱ wayl
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ  llilmukadhdhibina
٤٩
77:49 Woe that Day to the deniers.
فَبِأَیِّ fabiAyyi
حَدِیثِۭ hadithi
بَعۡدَهُۥ ba'dahu
یُؤۡمِنُونَ  yuuminuna
٥٠
77:50 Then in what statement after it will they believe?
