ٱقۡتَرَبَتِ Iqtarabati
ٱلسَّاعَةُ Assa'ahu
وَٱنشَقَّ waInshaqqa
ٱلۡقَمَرُ  Alqamaru
١
54:1 Has come near the Hour and has split the moon.
وَإِن waIn
یَرَوۡا۟ yarawa
ءَایَةࣰ 'ayah
یُعۡرِضُوا۟ yu'ridua
وَیَقُولُوا۟ wayaqulua
سِحۡرࣱ sihr
مُّسۡتَمِرࣱّ  mmustamirr
٢
54:2 And if they see a Sign, they turn away and say, "Magic continuing."
وَكَذَّبُوا۟ wakadhdhabua
وَٱتَّبَعُوۤا۟ waIttaba'ua
أَهۡوَاۤءَهُمۡۚ Ahwaa'ahum
وَكُلُّ wakullu
أَمۡرࣲ Amr
مُّسۡتَقِرࣱّ  mmustaqirr
٣
54:3 And they denied and followed their desires, but (for) every matter (will be a) settlement.
وَلَقَدۡ walaqad
جَاۤءَهُم jaa'ahum
مِّنَ mmina
ٱلۡأَنۢبَاۤءِ AlAnbaa'i
مَا ma
فِیهِ fihi
مُزۡدَجَرٌ  muzdajarun
٤
54:4 And certainly has come to them of the information from wherein (is) deterrence,
حِكۡمَةُۢ hikmahu
بَـٰلِغَةࣱۖ baalighah
فَمَا fama
تُغۡنِ tughni
ٱلنُّذُرُ  Annudhuru
٥
54:5 Wisdom perfect, but not will avail the warnings.
فَتَوَلَّ fatawalla
عَنۡهُمۡۘ 'anhum
یَوۡمَ yawma
یَدۡعُ yad'u
ٱلدَّاعِ Adda'i
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
شَیۡءࣲ shay'
نُّكُرٍ  nnukurin
٦
54:6 So turn away from them. (The) Day, will call the caller to a thing terrible,
خُشَّعًا khushsha'ana
أَبۡصَـٰرُهُمۡ Absaaruhum
یَخۡرُجُونَ yakhrujuna
مِنَ mina
ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ AlAjdathi
كَأَنَّهُمۡ kaAnnahum
جَرَادࣱ jarad
مُّنتَشِرࣱ  mmuntashir
٧
54:7 (Will be) humbled their eyes they will come forth from the graves as if they (were) locusts spreading,
مُّهۡطِعِینَ mmuhti'ina
إِلَى Ilaa
ٱلدَّاعِۖ Adda'i
یَقُولُ yaqulu
ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ Alkaafiruna
هَـٰذَا haadha
یَوۡمٌ yawmun
عَسِرࣱ  'asir
٨
54:8 Racing ahead towards the caller. Will say the disbelievers, "This (is) a Day difficult."
۞ كَذَّبَتۡ kadhdhabat
قَبۡلَهُمۡ qablahum
قَوۡمُ qawmu
نُوحࣲ nuh
فَكَذَّبُوا۟ fakadhdhabua
عَبۡدَنَا 'abdana
وَقَالُوا۟ waqalua
مَجۡنُونࣱ majnun
وَٱزۡدُجِرَ  waIzdujira
٩
54:9 Denied before them (the) people (of) Nuh, and they denied Our slave and said, "A madman," and he was repelled.
فَدَعَا fada'a
رَبَّهُۥۤ rabbahu
أَنِّی Anni
مَغۡلُوبࣱ maghlub
فَٱنتَصِرۡ  faIntasir
١٠
54:10 So he called his Lord, "I am one overpowered, so help."
فَفَتَحۡنَاۤ fafatahnaa
أَبۡوَ ٰبَ Abwaaba
ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ Assamaa'i
بِمَاۤءࣲ bimaa'
مُّنۡهَمِرࣲ  mmunhamir

54:11 So We opened (the) gates (of) heaven with water pouring down
وَفَجَّرۡنَا wafajjarna
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ AlArda
عُیُونࣰا 'uyuna
فَٱلۡتَقَى faAltaqaa
ٱلۡمَاۤءُ Almaa'u
عَلَىٰۤ 'alaa
أَمۡرࣲ Amr
قَدۡ qad
قُدِرَ  qudira
١٢
54:12 And We caused to burst the earth (with) springs, so met the water(s) for a matter already predestined.
وَحَمَلۡنَـٰهُ wahamalnaahu
عَلَىٰ 'alaa
ذَاتِ dhati
أَلۡوَ ٰحࣲ Alwaah
وَدُسُرࣲ  wadusur
١٣
54:13 And We carried him on made of (ark) planks and nails,
تَجۡرِی tajri
بِأَعۡیُنِنَا biA'yunina
جَزَاۤءࣰ jazaa'
لِّمَن lliman
كَانَ kana
كُفِرَ  kufira
١٤
54:14 Sailing before Our eyes, a reward for (he) who was denied.
وَلَقَد walaqad
تَّرَكۡنَـٰهَاۤ ttaraknaahaa
ءَایَةࣰ 'ayah
فَهَلۡ fahal
مِن min
مُّدَّكِرࣲ  mmuddakir
١٥
54:15 And certainly We left it (as) a Sign, so is (there) any who will receive admonition?
فَكَیۡفَ fakayfa
كَانَ kana
عَذَابِی 'adhabi
وَنُذُرِ  wanudhuri
١٦
54:16 So how was My punishment and My warnings?
وَلَقَدۡ walaqad
یَسَّرۡنَا yassarna
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ Alqur'ana
لِلذِّكۡرِ lildhdhikri
فَهَلۡ fahal
مِن min
مُّدَّكِرࣲ  mmuddakir
١٧
54:17 And certainly We have made easy the Quran for remembrance, so is (there) any who will receive admonition?
كَذَّبَتۡ kadhdhabat
عَادࣱ 'ad
فَكَیۡفَ fakayfa
كَانَ kana
عَذَابِی 'adhabi
وَنُذُرِ  wanudhuri
١٨
54:18 Denied Aad; so how was My punishment and My warnings?
إِنَّاۤ Innaa
أَرۡسَلۡنَا Arsalna
عَلَیۡهِمۡ 'alayhim
رِیحࣰا riha
صَرۡصَرࣰا sarsara
فِی fi
یَوۡمِ yawmi
نَحۡسࣲ nahs
مُّسۡتَمِرࣲّ  mmustamirr
١٩
54:19 Indeed, We [We] sent upon them a wind furious on a day (of) misfortune continuous,
تَنزِعُ tanzi'u
ٱلنَّاسَ Annasa
كَأَنَّهُمۡ kaAnnahum
أَعۡجَازُ A'jazu
نَخۡلࣲ nakhl
مُّنقَعِرࣲ  mmunqa'ir
٢٠
54:20 Plucking out men as if they (were) trunks (of) date-palms uprooted.
فَكَیۡفَ fakayfa
كَانَ kana
عَذَابِی 'adhabi
وَنُذُرِ  wanudhuri
٢١
54:21 So how was My punishment and My warnings?
وَلَقَدۡ walaqad
یَسَّرۡنَا yassarna
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ Alqur'ana
لِلذِّكۡرِ lildhdhikri
فَهَلۡ fahal
مِن min
مُّدَّكِرࣲ  mmuddakir
٢٢
54:22 And certainly, We have made easy the Quran for remembrance, so is (there) any who will receive admonition?
كَذَّبَتۡ kadhdhabat
ثَمُودُ thamudu
بِٱلنُّذُرِ  biAnnudhuri
٢٣
54:23 Denied Thamud the warnings,
فَقَالُوۤا۟ faqalua
أَبَشَرࣰا Abashara
مِّنَّا mminna
وَ ٰحِدࣰا waahida
نَّتَّبِعُهُۥۤ nnattabi'uhu
إِنَّاۤ Innaa
إِذࣰا Idha
لَّفِی llafi
ضَلَـٰلࣲ dalaal
وَسُعُرٍ  wasu'urin
٢٤
54:24 And said, "Is (it) a human being among us one, (that) we should follow him? Indeed, we then (will be) surely in error and madness.
أَءُلۡقِیَ A'ulqiya
ٱلذِّكۡرُ Adhdhikru
عَلَیۡهِ 'alayhi
مِنۢ min
بَیۡنِنَا baynina
بَلۡ bal
هُوَ huwa
كَذَّابٌ kadhdhabun
أَشِرࣱ  Ashir
٢٥
54:25 Has been sent the Reminder to him from among us? Nay, he (is) a liar insolent."
سَیَعۡلَمُونَ saya'lamuna
غَدࣰا ghada
مَّنِ mmani
ٱلۡكَذَّابُ Alkadhdhabu
ٱلۡأَشِرُ  AlAshiru
٢٦
54:26 They will know tomorrow who (is) the liar, the insolent one.
إِنَّا Inna
مُرۡسِلُوا۟ mursilua
ٱلنَّاقَةِ Annaqahi
فِتۡنَةࣰ fitnah
لَّهُمۡ llahum
فَٱرۡتَقِبۡهُمۡ faIrtaqibhum
وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ  waIstabir
٢٧
54:27 Indeed, We (are) sending the she-camel (as) a trial for them, so watch them and be patient.
وَنَبِّئۡهُمۡ wanabbiehum
أَنَّ Anna
ٱلۡمَاۤءَ Almaa'a
قِسۡمَةُۢ qismahu
بَیۡنَهُمۡۖ baynahum
كُلُّ kullu
شِرۡبࣲ shirb
مُّحۡتَضَرࣱ  mmuhtadar
٢٨
54:28 And inform them that the water (is) to be shared between them, each drink attended.
فَنَادَوۡا۟ fanadawa
صَاحِبَهُمۡ sahibahum
فَتَعَاطَىٰ fata'ataa
فَعَقَرَ  fa'aqara
٢٩
54:29 But they called their companion and he took and hamstrung.
فَكَیۡفَ fakayfa
كَانَ kana
عَذَابِی 'adhabi
وَنُذُرِ  wanudhuri
٣٠
54:30 So how was My punishment and My warnings.
إِنَّاۤ Innaa
أَرۡسَلۡنَا Arsalna
عَلَیۡهِمۡ 'alayhim
صَیۡحَةࣰ sayhah
وَ ٰحِدَةࣰ waahidah
فَكَانُوا۟ fakanua
كَهَشِیمِ kahashimi
ٱلۡمُحۡتَظِرِ  Almuhtaziri
٣١
54:31 Indeed, We [We] sent upon them thunderous blast single, and they became like dry twig fragments (used by) a fence builder.
وَلَقَدۡ walaqad
یَسَّرۡنَا yassarna
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ Alqur'ana
لِلذِّكۡرِ lildhdhikri
فَهَلۡ fahal
مِن min
مُّدَّكِرࣲ  mmuddakir
٣٢
54:32 And certainly We have made easy the Quran for remembrance, so is (there) any who will receive admonition?
كَذَّبَتۡ kadhdhabat
قَوۡمُ qawmu
لُوطِۭ luti
بِٱلنُّذُرِ  biAnnudhuri
٣٣
54:33 Denied (the) people (of) Lut, the warnings.
إِنَّاۤ Innaa
أَرۡسَلۡنَا Arsalna
عَلَیۡهِمۡ 'alayhim
حَاصِبًا hasibana
إِلَّاۤ Illaa
ءَالَ 'ala
لُوطࣲۖ lut
نَّجَّیۡنَـٰهُم nnajjaynaahum
بِسَحَرࣲ  bisahar
٣٤
54:34 Indeed, We [We] sent upon them a storm of stones, except (the) family (of) Lut, We saved them by dawn
نِّعۡمَةࣰ nni'mah
مِّنۡ mmin
عِندِنَاۚ 'indina
كَذَ ٰلِكَ kadhaalika
نَجۡزِی najzi
مَن man
شَكَرَ  shakara
٣٥
54:35 (As) a favor from Us. Thus We reward (one) who (is) grateful.
وَلَقَدۡ walaqad
أَنذَرَهُم Andharahum
بَطۡشَتَنَا batshatana
فَتَمَارَوۡا۟ fatamarawa
بِٱلنُّذُرِ  biAnnudhuri
٣٦
54:36 And certainly he warned them (of) Our seizure, but they disputed the warnings.
وَلَقَدۡ walaqad
رَ ٰوَدُوهُ raawaduhu
عَن 'an
ضَیۡفِهِۦ dayfihi
فَطَمَسۡنَاۤ fatamasnaa
أَعۡیُنَهُمۡ A'yunahum
فَذُوقُوا۟ fadhuqua
عَذَابِی 'adhabi
وَنُذُرِ  wanudhuri
٣٧
54:37 And certainly they demanded him from his guests, so We blinded their eyes. "So taste My punishment and My warnings."
وَلَقَدۡ walaqad
صَبَّحَهُم sabbahahum
بُكۡرَةً bukrahan
عَذَابࣱ 'adhab
مُّسۡتَقِرࣱّ  mmustaqirr
٣٨
54:38 And certainly seized them in the morning early a punishment abiding.
فَذُوقُوا۟ fadhuqua
عَذَابِی 'adhabi
وَنُذُرِ  wanudhuri
٣٩
54:39 So taste My punishment and My warnings.
وَلَقَدۡ walaqad
یَسَّرۡنَا yassarna
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ Alqur'ana
لِلذِّكۡرِ lildhdhikri
فَهَلۡ fahal
مِن min
مُّدَّكِرࣲ  mmuddakir
٤٠
54:40 And certainly We have made easy the Quran for remembrance, so is (there) any who will receive admonition?
وَلَقَدۡ walaqad
جَاۤءَ jaa'a
ءَالَ 'ala
فِرۡعَوۡنَ fir'awna
ٱلنُّذُرُ  Annudhuru
٤١
54:41 And certainly came (to the) people (of) Firaun warnings.
كَذَّبُوا۟ kadhdhabua
بِءَایَـٰتِنَا bi'ayaatina
كُلِّهَا kulliha
فَأَخَذۡنَـٰهُمۡ faAkhadhnaahum
أَخۡذَ Akhdha
عَزِیزࣲ 'aziz
مُّقۡتَدِرٍ  mmuqtadirin
٤٢
54:42 They denied Our Signs, all of them, so We seized them (with) a seizure (of) All-Mighty, (the) Powerful One.
أَكُفَّارُكُمۡ Akuffarukum
خَیۡرࣱ khayr
مِّنۡ mmin
أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكُمۡ Aulaaikum
أَمۡ Am
لَكُم lakum
بَرَاۤءَةࣱ baraa'ah
فِی fi
ٱلزُّبُرِ  Azzuburi
٤٣
54:43 Are your disbelievers, better than those, or for you (is) an exemption in the Scriptures?
أَمۡ Am
یَقُولُونَ yaquluna
نَحۡنُ nahnu
جَمِیعࣱ jami'
مُّنتَصِرࣱ  mmuntasir
٤٤
54:44 Or (do) they say, "We (are) an assembly helping (each other)?"
سَیُهۡزَمُ sayuhzamu
ٱلۡجَمۡعُ Aljam'u
وَیُوَلُّونَ wayuwalluna
ٱلدُّبُرَ  Addubura
٤٥
54:45 Soon will be defeated (their) assembly, and they will turn (their) backs.
بَلِ bali
ٱلسَّاعَةُ Assa'ahu
مَوۡعِدُهُمۡ maw'iduhum
وَٱلسَّاعَةُ waAssa'ahu
أَدۡهَىٰ Adhaa
وَأَمَرُّ  waAmarru
٤٦
54:46 Nay, the Hour (is) their promised time, and the Hour (will be) more grievous and more bitter.
إِنَّ Inna
ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ Almujrimina
فِی fi
ضَلَـٰلࣲ dalaal
وَسُعُرࣲ  wasu'ur
٤٧
54:47 Indeed, the criminals (are) in an error and madness.
یَوۡمَ yawma
یُسۡحَبُونَ yushabuna
فِی fi
ٱلنَّارِ Annari
عَلَىٰ 'alaa
وُجُوهِهِمۡ wujuhihim
ذُوقُوا۟ dhuqua
مَسَّ massa
سَقَرَ  saqara
٤٨
54:48 (The) Day they will be dragged into the Fire on their faces, "Taste (the) touch (of) Hell."
إِنَّا Inna
كُلَّ kulla
شَیۡءٍ shay'in
خَلَقۡنَـٰهُ khalaqnaahu
بِقَدَرࣲ  biqadar
٤٩
54:49 Indeed, [We] every thing We created it by a measure.
وَمَاۤ wamaa
أَمۡرُنَاۤ Amrunaa
إِلَّا Illa
وَ ٰحِدَةࣱ waahidah
كَلَمۡحِۭ kalamhi
بِٱلۡبَصَرِ  biAlbasari
٥٠
54:50 And not (is) Our Command but one, like the twinkling (of) the eye.
وَلَقَدۡ walaqad
أَهۡلَكۡنَاۤ Ahlaknaa
أَشۡیَاعَكُمۡ Ashya'akum
فَهَلۡ fahal
مِن min
مُّدَّكِرࣲ  mmuddakir

54:51 And certainly We destroyed your kinds, so is (there) any who will receive admonition?
وَكُلُّ wakullu
شَیۡءࣲ shay'
فَعَلُوهُ fa'aluhu
فِی fi
ٱلزُّبُرِ  Azzuburi
٥٢
54:52 And every thing they did (is) in the written records.
وَكُلُّ wakullu
صَغِیرࣲ saghir
وَكَبِیرࣲ wakabir
مُّسۡتَطَرٌ  mmustatarun
٥٣
54:53 And every small and big (is) written down.
إِنَّ Inna
ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ Almuttaqina
فِی fi
جَنَّـٰتࣲ jannaat
وَنَهَرࣲ  wanahar
٥٤
54:54 Indeed, the righteous (will be) in gardens and river,
فِی fi
مَقۡعَدِ maq'adi
صِدۡقٍ sidqin
عِندَ 'inda
مَلِیكࣲ malik
مُّقۡتَدِرِۭ  mmuqtadiri
٥٥
54:55 In a seat (of) honor near a King Most Powerful.
