Quran 54 : 29
But they called their companion and he took and hamstrung.
فَنَادَوْا۟
Fanādawa
صَاحِبَهُمْ
Ṣāḥibahum
فَتَعَاطَىٰ
Fataʿāṭaāā
فَعَقَرَ
Faʿaqara
Instead, They commissioned a clan member to kill the camel
But they called their companion and he took and hamstrung
But they call their comrade and he took and hamstrung (her)
But they called their friend, who dared to slaughter [her].
They called their friend, who took a knife and hamstrung her
Then they called their companion, and he took and hamstrung.
But they called their commander, who seized and hamstrung her
Yet, they called their companion, and he dared and hamstrung.
But they called on their friend, and he was paid to slaughter.
But they called their friend, and he dared, and he slaughtered
They called on their companion and he set to it and hamstrung her.
And they called their companion: And he took a sword, and slew her
But they called their companion who took a sword and hamstrung her
But they called their comrade and he took (a sword) and killed (her)
But they persuaded their friend to kill (the camel), and he obliged.

Then they called their fellow, and he took the sword and hamstrung her

They called together their companions and agreed to slay the she-camel

Surely We are going to send the she-camel as a trial for them; so watch them and have patience
In response they called their companion – he therefore caught and hamstrung the she-camel

Then they called their man (to kill the she-camel,) so he undertook (the task) and killed (the she-camel)
But they (people of Thamud) called one of their comrades who took (responsibility) and killed (she-camel).

Eventually, they summoned their companion, and he undertook the (outrageous) task and hamstrung the she-camel
But they called their companion, so he moved forward alongwith (his callers); then he hamstrung (the she-camel)
So they called one of their companions (named Qidar). He attacked (the she-camel with a sword) and hamstrung her

So they called their companion/friend, so he stood on his toes and extended his hands to take , so he wounded/slaughtered/made infertile
But they summoned their [boldest] companion, and he ventured [upon the evil deed], and cruelly slaughtered [the animal]
Thereupon they called their comrade who seized her (- the she-camel) quite unlawfully with the help of others and hamstrung (her, and they were then overtaken by a calamity)
But (without observing the turn) they (schemed to slaughter the she-camel and) called their comrade (one of the nine ring-leaders); and so he ventured (upon the evil deed), and slaughtered her cruelly
