Surah Al-Ghaashiya • Quran 88

هَلۡ
أَتَىٰكَ
حَدِیثُ
ٱلۡغَـٰشِیَةِ
١
88:1
Has (there) come to you (the) news (of) the Overwhelming?
وُجُوهࣱ
یَوۡمَىِٕذٍ
خَـٰشِعَةٌ
٢
88:2
Faces that Day (will be) humbled,
عَامِلَةࣱ
نَّاصِبَةࣱ
٣
88:3
Laboring, exhausted.
تَصۡلَىٰ
نَارًا
حَامِیَةࣰ
٤
88:4
They will burn (in) a Fire intensely hot.
تُسۡقَىٰ
مِنۡ
عَیۡنٍ
ءَانِیَةࣲ
٥
88:5
They will be given to drink from a spring, boiling.
لَّیۡسَ
لَهُمۡ
طَعَامٌ
إِلَّا
مِن
ضَرِیعࣲ
٦
88:6
Not is for them food except from a bitter thorny plant,
لَّا
یُسۡمِنُ
وَلَا
یُغۡنِی
مِن
جُوعࣲ
٧
88:7
Not it nourishes and not it avails from hunger.
وُجُوهࣱ
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ
نَّاعِمَةࣱ
٨
88:8
Faces that Day (will be) joyful.
لِّسَعۡیِهَا
رَاضِیَةࣱ
٩
88:9
With their effort satisfied,
فِی
جَنَّةٍ
عَالِیَةࣲ
١٠
88:10
In a garden elevated.
لَّا
تَسۡمَعُ
فِیهَا
لَـٰغِیَةࣰ
١١
88:11
Not they will hear therein vain talk.
فِیهَا
عَیۡنࣱ
جَارِیَةࣱ
١٢
88:12
Therein (will be) a spring flowing,
فِیهَا
سُرُرࣱ
مَّرۡفُوعَةࣱ
١٣
88:13
Therein (will be) thrones raised high,
وَأَكۡوَابࣱ
مَّوۡضُوعَةࣱ
١٤
88:14
And cups put in place,
وَنَمَارِقُ
مَصۡفُوفَةࣱ
١٥
88:15
And cushions lined up,
وَزَرَابِیُّ
مَبۡثُوثَةٌ
١٦
88:16
And carpets spread out.
أَفَلَا
یَنظُرُونَ
إِلَى
ٱلۡإِبِلِ
كَیۡفَ
خُلِقَتۡ
١٧
88:17
Then do not they look towards the camels, how they are created?
وَإِلَى
ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ
كَیۡفَ
رُفِعَتۡ
١٨
88:18
And towards the sky, how it is raised?
وَإِلَى
ٱلۡجِبَالِ
كَیۡفَ
نُصِبَتۡ
١٩
88:19
And towards the mountains, how they are fixed?
وَإِلَى
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ
كَیۡفَ
سُطِحَتۡ
٢٠
88:20
And towards the earth, how it is spread out?
فَذَكِّرۡ
إِنَّمَاۤ
أَنتَ
مُذَكِّرࣱ
٢١
88:21
So remind, only you (are) a reminder.
لَّسۡتَ
عَلَیۡهِم
بِمُصَۣیۡطِرٍ
٢٢
88:22
You are not over them a controller,
إِلَّا
مَن
تَوَلَّىٰ
وَكَفَرَ
٢٣
88:23
But whoever turns away and disbelieves,
فَیُعَذِّبُهُ
ٱللَّهُ
ٱلۡعَذَابَ
ٱلۡأَكۡبَرَ
٢٤
88:24
Then will punish him Allah (with) the punishment greatest.
إِنَّ
إِلَیۡنَاۤ
إِیَابَهُمۡ
٢٥
88:25
Indeed, to Us (will be) their return,
ثُمَّ
إِنَّ
عَلَیۡنَا
حِسَابَهُم
٢٦
88:26
Then indeed, upon Us (is) their account.
