هَلۡ hal
أَتَىٰكَ Ataaka
حَدِیثُ hadithu
ٱلۡغَـٰشِیَةِ  Alghaashiyahi
١
88:1 Has (there) come to you (the) news (of) the Overwhelming?
وُجُوهࣱ wujuh
یَوۡمَىِٕذٍ yawmaaidhin
خَـٰشِعَةٌ  khaashi'ahun
٢
88:2 Faces that Day (will be) humbled,
عَامِلَةࣱ 'amilah
نَّاصِبَةࣱ  nnasibah
٣
88:3 Laboring, exhausted.
تَصۡلَىٰ taslaa
نَارًا narana
حَامِیَةࣰ  hamiyah
٤
88:4 They will burn (in) a Fire intensely hot.
تُسۡقَىٰ tusqaa
مِنۡ min
عَیۡنٍ 'aynin
ءَانِیَةࣲ  'aniyah
٥
88:5 They will be given to drink from a spring, boiling.
لَّیۡسَ llaysa
لَهُمۡ lahum
طَعَامٌ ta'amun
إِلَّا Illa
مِن min
ضَرِیعࣲ  dari'
٦
88:6 Not is for them food except from a bitter thorny plant,
لَّا lla
یُسۡمِنُ yusminu
وَلَا wala
یُغۡنِی yughni
مِن min
جُوعࣲ  ju'
٧
88:7 Not it nourishes and not it avails from hunger.
وُجُوهࣱ wujuh
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
نَّاعِمَةࣱ  nna'imah
٨
88:8 Faces that Day (will be) joyful.
لِّسَعۡیِهَا llisa'yiha
رَاضِیَةࣱ  radiyah
٩
88:9 With their effort satisfied,
فِی fi
جَنَّةٍ jannahin
عَالِیَةࣲ  'aliyah
١٠
88:10 In a garden elevated.
لَّا lla
تَسۡمَعُ tasma'u
فِیهَا fiha
لَـٰغِیَةࣰ  laaghiyah
١١
88:11 Not they will hear therein vain talk.
فِیهَا fiha
عَیۡنࣱ 'ayn
جَارِیَةࣱ  jariyah
١٢
88:12 Therein (will be) a spring flowing,
فِیهَا fiha
سُرُرࣱ surur
مَّرۡفُوعَةࣱ  mmarfu'ah
١٣
88:13 Therein (will be) thrones raised high,
وَأَكۡوَابࣱ waAkwab
مَّوۡضُوعَةࣱ  mmawdu'ah
١٤
88:14 And cups put in place,
وَنَمَارِقُ wanamariqu
مَصۡفُوفَةࣱ  masfufah
١٥
88:15 And cushions lined up,
وَزَرَابِیُّ wazarabiyyu
مَبۡثُوثَةٌ  mabthuthahun
١٦
88:16 And carpets spread out.
أَفَلَا Afala
یَنظُرُونَ yanzuruna
إِلَى Ilaa
ٱلۡإِبِلِ AlIbili
كَیۡفَ kayfa
خُلِقَتۡ  khuliqat
١٧
88:17 Then do not they look towards the camels, how they are created?
وَإِلَى waIlaa
ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ Assamaa'i
كَیۡفَ kayfa
رُفِعَتۡ  rufi'at
١٨
88:18 And towards the sky, how it is raised?
وَإِلَى waIlaa
ٱلۡجِبَالِ Aljibali
كَیۡفَ kayfa
نُصِبَتۡ  nusibat
١٩
88:19 And towards the mountains, how they are fixed?
وَإِلَى waIlaa
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ AlArdi
كَیۡفَ kayfa
سُطِحَتۡ  sutihat
٢٠
88:20 And towards the earth, how it is spread out?
فَذَكِّرۡ fadhakkir
إِنَّمَاۤ Innamaa
أَنتَ Anta
مُذَكِّرࣱ  mudhakkir
٢١
88:21 So remind, only you (are) a reminder.
لَّسۡتَ llasta
عَلَیۡهِم 'alayhim
بِمُصَۣیۡطِرٍ  bimusaytirin
٢٢
88:22 You are not over them a controller,
إِلَّا Illa
مَن man
تَوَلَّىٰ tawallaa
وَكَفَرَ  wakafara
٢٣
88:23 But whoever turns away and disbelieves,
فَیُعَذِّبُهُ fayu'adhdhibuhu
ٱللَّهُ Allahu
ٱلۡعَذَابَ Al'adhaba
ٱلۡأَكۡبَرَ  AlAkbara
٢٤
88:24 Then will punish him Allah (with) the punishment greatest.
إِنَّ Inna
إِلَیۡنَاۤ Ilaynaa
إِیَابَهُمۡ  Iyabahum
٢٥
88:25 Indeed, to Us (will be) their return,
ثُمَّ thumma
إِنَّ Inna
عَلَیۡنَا 'alayna
حِسَابَهُم  hisabahum
٢٦
88:26 Then indeed, upon Us (is) their account.
