Surah Al-Humaza • Quran 104

وَیۡلࣱ
لِّكُلِّ
هُمَزَةࣲ
لُّمَزَةٍ
١
104:1
Woe to every slanderer backbiter!
ٱلَّذِی
جَمَعَ
مَالࣰا
وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
٢
104:2
The one who collects wealth and counts it.
یَحۡسَبُ
أَنَّ
مَالَهُۥۤ
أَخۡلَدَهُۥ
٣
104:3
Thinking that his wealth will make him immortal
كَلَّاۖ
لَیُنۢبَذَنَّ
فِی
ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ
٤
104:4
Nay! Surely he will be thrown in the Crusher.
وَمَاۤ
أَدۡرَىٰكَ
مَا
ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ
٥
104:5
And what will make you know what the Crusher (is)?
نَارُ
ٱللَّهِ
ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ
٦
104:6
A Fire Allah kindled,
ٱلَّتِی
تَطَّلِعُ
عَلَى
ٱلۡأَفۡءِدَةِ
٧
104:7
Which mounts up to the hearts.
إِنَّهَا
عَلَیۡهِم
مُّؤۡصَدَةࣱ
٨
104:8
Indeed, it (will be) upon them closed over,
فِی
عَمَدࣲ
مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ
٩
104:9
In columns extended.
