ٱقۡرَأۡ
بِٱسۡمِ
رَبِّكَ
ٱلَّذِی
خَلَقَ
١
96:1
Read in (the) name (of) your Lord the One Who created -
خَلَقَ
ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ
مِنۡ
عَلَقٍ
٢
96:2
He created man from a clinging substance.
ٱقۡرَأۡ
وَرَبُّكَ
ٱلۡأَكۡرَمُ
٣
96:3
Read, and your Lord (is) the Most Generous,
ٱلَّذِی
عَلَّمَ
بِٱلۡقَلَمِ
٤
96:4
The One Who taught by the pen,
عَلَّمَ
ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ
مَا
لَمۡ
یَعۡلَمۡ
٥
96:5
Taught man what not he knew.
كَلَّاۤ
إِنَّ
ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ
لَیَطۡغَىٰۤ
٦
96:6
Nay! Indeed, man surely transgresses,
أَن
رَّءَاهُ
ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰۤ
٧
96:7
That he sees himself self-sufficient.
إِنَّ
إِلَىٰ
رَبِّكَ
ٱلرُّجۡعَىٰۤ
٨
96:8
Indeed, to your Lord (is) the return.
أَرَءَیۡتَ
ٱلَّذِی
یَنۡهَىٰ
٩
96:9
Have you seen the one who forbids
عَبۡدًا
إِذَا
صَلَّىٰۤ
١٠
96:10
A slave when he prays?
أَرَءَیۡتَ
إِن
كَانَ
عَلَى
ٱلۡهُدَىٰۤ
١١
96:11
Have you seen if he is upon [the] guidance,
أَوۡ
أَمَرَ
بِٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۤ
١٢
96:12
Or he enjoins [of the] righteousness?
أَرَءَیۡتَ
إِن
كَذَّبَ
وَتَوَلَّىٰۤ
١٣
96:13
Have you seen if he denies and turns away?
أَلَمۡ
یَعۡلَم
بِأَنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
یَرَىٰ
١٤
96:14
Does not he know that Allah sees?
كَلَّا
لَىِٕن
لَّمۡ
یَنتَهِ
لَنَسۡفَعَۢا
بِٱلنَّاصِیَةِ
١٥
96:15
Nay! If not he desists, surely We will drag him by the forelock,
نَاصِیَةࣲ
كَـٰذِبَةٍ
خَاطِئَةࣲ
١٦
96:16
A forelock lying, sinful.
فَلۡیَدۡعُ
نَادِیَهُۥ
١٧
96:17
Then let him call his associates,
سَنَدۡعُ
ٱلزَّبَانِیَةَ
١٨
96:18
We will call the Angels of Hell.
كَلَّا
لَا
تُطِعۡهُ
وَ̅ٱ̅سۡ̅جُ̅دۡ̅
وَٱقۡتَرِب ۩

96:19
Nay! (Do) not obey him. But prostrate and draw near (to Allah).
