وَٱلنَّجۡمِ waAnnajmi
إِذَا Idha
هَوَىٰ  hawaa
١
53:1 By the star when it goes down,
مَا ma
ضَلَّ dalla
صَاحِبُكُمۡ sahibukum
وَمَا wama
غَوَىٰ  ghawaa
٢
53:2 Not has strayed your companion and not has he erred,
وَمَا wama
یَنطِقُ yantiqu
عَنِ 'ani
ٱلۡهَوَىٰۤ  Alhawaa
٣
53:3 And not he speaks from the desire.
إِنۡ In
هُوَ huwa
إِلَّا Illa
وَحۡیࣱ wahy
یُوحَىٰ  yuhaa
٤
53:4 Not it (is) except a revelation revealed,
عَلَّمَهُۥ 'allamahu
شَدِیدُ shadidu
ٱلۡقُوَىٰ  Alquwaa
٥
53:5 Has taught him the (one) mighty (in) power,
ذُو dhu
مِرَّةࣲ mirrah
فَٱسۡتَوَىٰ  faIstawaa
٦
53:6 Possessor of soundness. And he rose,
وَهُوَ wahuwa
بِٱلۡأُفُقِ biAlAufuqi
ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ  AlA'laa
٧
53:7 While he (was) in the horizon - the highest.
ثُمَّ thumma
دَنَا dana
فَتَدَلَّىٰ  fatadallaa
٨
53:8 Then he approached and came down,
فَكَانَ fakana
قَابَ qaba
قَوۡسَیۡنِ qawsayni
أَوۡ Aw
أَدۡنَىٰ  Adnaa
٩
53:9 And was (at) a distance (of) two bow-(lengths) or nearer.
فَأَوۡحَىٰۤ faAwhaa
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
عَبۡدِهِۦ 'abdihi
مَاۤ maa
أَوۡحَىٰ  Awhaa
١٠
53:10 So he revealed to His slave what he revealed.
مَا ma
كَذَبَ kadhaba
ٱلۡفُؤَادُ Alfuuadu
مَا ma
رَأَىٰۤ  raa
١١
53:11 Not lied the heart what it saw.
أَفَتُمَـٰرُونَهُۥ Afatumaarunahu
عَلَىٰ 'alaa
مَا ma
یَرَىٰ  yaraa
١٢
53:12 Then will you dispute with him about what he saw?
وَلَقَدۡ walaqad
رَءَاهُ ra'ahu
نَزۡلَةً nazlahan
أُخۡرَىٰ  Aukhraa
١٣
53:13 And certainly he saw him (in) descent another,
عِندَ 'inda
سِدۡرَةِ sidrahi
ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ  Almuntahaa
١٤
53:14 Near (the) Lote Tree (of) the utmost boundary,
عِندَهَا 'indaha
جَنَّةُ jannahu
ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰۤ  AlmaAwaa
١٥
53:15 Near it (is the) Garden (of) Abode.
إِذۡ Idh
یَغۡشَى yaghshaa
ٱلسِّدۡرَةَ Assidraha
مَا ma
یَغۡشَىٰ  yaghshaa
١٦
53:16 When covered the Lote Tree what covers,
مَا ma
زَاغَ zagha
ٱلۡبَصَرُ Albasaru
وَمَا wama
طَغَىٰ  taghaa
١٧
53:17 Not swerved the sight and not it transgressed.
لَقَدۡ laqad
رَأَىٰ raa
مِنۡ min
ءَایَـٰتِ 'ayaati
رَبِّهِ rabbihi
ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰۤ  Alkubraa
١٨
53:18 Certainly he saw of (the) Signs (of) his Lord the Greatest.
أَفَرَءَیۡتُمُ Afara'aytumu
ٱللَّـٰتَ Allaata
وَٱلۡعُزَّىٰ  waAl'uzzaa
١٩
53:19 So have you seen the Al-Lat and the Al-'Uzza,
وَمَنَوٰةَ wamanawaha
ٱلثَّالِثَةَ Aththalithaha
ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰۤ  AlAukhraa
٢٠
53:20 And Manat the third, the other?
أَلَكُمُ Alakumu
ٱلذَّكَرُ Adhdhakaru
وَلَهُ walahu
ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ  AlAunthaa
٢١
53:21 Is for you the male and for Him the female?
تِلۡكَ tilka
إِذࣰا Idha
قِسۡمَةࣱ qismah
ضِیزَىٰۤ  dizaa
٢٢
53:22 This, then, (is) a division unfair.
إِنۡ In
هِیَ hiya
إِلَّاۤ Illaa
أَسۡمَاۤءࣱ Asmaa'
سَمَّیۡتُمُوهَاۤ sammaytumuhaa
أَنتُمۡ Antum
وَءَابَاۤؤُكُم wa'abaauukum
مَّاۤ mmaa
أَنزَلَ Anzala
ٱللَّهُ Allahu
بِهَا biha
مِن min
سُلۡطَـٰنٍۚ sultaanin
إِن In
یَتَّبِعُونَ yattabi'una
إِلَّا Illa
ٱلظَّنَّ Azzanna
وَمَا wama
تَهۡوَى tahwaa
ٱلۡأَنفُسُۖ AlAnfusu
وَلَقَدۡ walaqad
جَاۤءَهُم jaa'ahum
مِّن mmin
رَّبِّهِمُ rrabbihimu
ٱلۡهُدَىٰۤ  Alhudaa
٢٣
53:23 Not they (are) except names you have named them, you and your forefathers, not has sent down Allah for it any authority. Not they follow except assumption and what desire the(ir) souls. And certainly has come to them from their Lord the guidance.
أَمۡ Am
لِلۡإِنسَـٰنِ lilInsaani
مَا ma
تَمَنَّىٰ  tamannaa
٢٤
53:24 Or (is) for man what he wishes?
فَلِلَّهِ falillahi
ٱلۡءَاخِرَةُ Al'akhirahu
وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ  waAlAulaa
٢٥
53:25 But for Allah (is) the last and the first.
۞ وَكَم wakam
مِّن mmin
مَّلَكࣲ mmalak
فِی fi
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ Assamaawaati
لَا la
تُغۡنِی tughni
شَفَـٰعَتُهُمۡ shafaa'atuhum
شَیۡءًا shay'ana
إِلَّا Illa
مِنۢ min
بَعۡدِ ba'di
أَن An
یَأۡذَنَ yaAdhana
ٱللَّهُ Allahu
لِمَن liman
یَشَاۤءُ yashaa'u
وَیَرۡضَىٰۤ  wayardaa
٢٦
53:26 And how many of (the) Angels in the heavens not will avail their intercession anything except from after [that] has given permission Allah for whom He wills and approves.
إِنَّ Inna
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
لَا la
یُؤۡمِنُونَ yuuminuna
بِٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ biAl'akhirahi
لَیُسَمُّونَ layusammuna
ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةَ Almalaaikaha
تَسۡمِیَةَ tasmiyaha
ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ  AlAunthaa
٢٧
53:27 Indeed, those who (do) not believe in the Hereafter, surely they name the Angels name(s) (of) female,
وَمَا wama
لَهُم lahum
بِهِۦ bihi
مِنۡ min
عِلۡمٍۖ 'ilmin
إِن In
یَتَّبِعُونَ yattabi'una
إِلَّا Illa
ٱلظَّنَّۖ Azzanna
وَإِنَّ waInna
ٱلظَّنَّ Azzanna
لَا la
یُغۡنِی yughni
مِنَ mina
ٱلۡحَقِّ Alhaqqi
شَیۡءࣰا  shay'a
٢٨
53:28 And not for them about it any knowledge. Not they follow but assumption. And indeed, the assumption (does) not avail against the truth anything.
فَأَعۡرِضۡ faA'rid
عَن 'an
مَّن mman
تَوَلَّىٰ tawallaa
عَن 'an
ذِكۡرِنَا dhikrina
وَلَمۡ walam
یُرِدۡ yurid
إِلَّا Illa
ٱلۡحَیَوٰةَ Alhayawaha
ٱلدُّنۡیَا  Addunya
٢٩
53:29 So turn away from (him) who turns away from Our Reminder and not he desires except the life (of) the world.
ذَ ٰلِكَ dhaalika
مَبۡلَغُهُم mablaghuhum
مِّنَ mmina
ٱلۡعِلۡمِۚ Al'ilmi
إِنَّ Inna
رَبَّكَ rabbaka
هُوَ huwa
أَعۡلَمُ A'lamu
بِمَن biman
ضَلَّ dalla
عَن 'an
سَبِیلِهِۦ sabilihi
وَهُوَ wahuwa
أَعۡلَمُ A'lamu
بِمَنِ bimani
ٱهۡتَدَىٰ  Ihtadaa
٣٠
53:30 That (is) their sum of knowledge. Indeed, your Lord (is) He (Who) knows best (he) who strays from His Path, and He knows best (he) who is guided.
وَلِلَّهِ walillahi
مَا ma
فِی fi
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ Assamaawaati
وَمَا wama
فِی fi
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ AlArdi
لِیَجۡزِیَ liyajziya
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
أَسَـٰۤءُوا۟ Asaa'ua
بِمَا bima
عَمِلُوا۟ 'amilua
وَیَجۡزِیَ wayajziya
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
أَحۡسَنُوا۟ Ahsanua
بِٱلۡحُسۡنَى  biAlhusnaa
٣١
53:31 And for Allah (is) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth that He may recompense those who do evil with what they have done and recompense those who do good with the best.
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
یَجۡتَنِبُونَ yajtanibuna
كَبَـٰۤىِٕرَ kabaaira
ٱلۡإِثۡمِ AlIthmi
وَٱلۡفَوَ ٰحِشَ waAlfawaahisha
إِلَّا Illa
ٱللَّمَمَۚ Allamama
إِنَّ Inna
رَبَّكَ rabbaka
وَ ٰسِعُ waasi'u
ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِۚ Almaghfirahi
هُوَ huwa
أَعۡلَمُ A'lamu
بِكُمۡ bikum
إِذۡ Idh
أَنشَأَكُم AnshaAkum
مِّنَ mmina
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ AlArdi
وَإِذۡ waIdh
أَنتُمۡ Antum
أَجِنَّةࣱ Ajinnah
فِی fi
بُطُونِ butuni
أُمَّهَـٰتِكُمۡۖ Aummahaatikum
فَلَا fala
تُزَكُّوۤا۟ tuzakkua
أَنفُسَكُمۡۖ Anfusakum
هُوَ huwa
أَعۡلَمُ A'lamu
بِمَنِ bimani
ٱتَّقَىٰۤ  Ittaqaa
٣٢
53:32 Those who avoid great sins and the immoralities except the small faults; indeed, your Lord (is) vast (in) forgiveness. He (is) most knowing about you when He produced you from the earth and when you (were) fetuses in (the) wombs (of) your mothers. So (do) not ascribe purity (to) yourselves. He knows best (he) who fears.
أَفَرَءَیۡتَ Afara'ayta
ٱلَّذِی Alladhi
تَوَلَّىٰ  tawallaa
٣٣
53:33 Did you see the one who turned away
وَأَعۡطَىٰ waA'taa
قَلِیلࣰا qalila
وَأَكۡدَىٰۤ  waAkdaa
٣٤
53:34 And gave a little, and withheld?
أَعِندَهُۥ A'indahu
عِلۡمُ 'ilmu
ٱلۡغَیۡبِ Alghaybi
فَهُوَ fahuwa
یَرَىٰۤ  yaraa
٣٥
53:35 Is with him (the) knowledge (of) the unseen, so he sees?
أَمۡ Am
لَمۡ lam
یُنَبَّأۡ yunabbaA
بِمَا bima
فِی fi
صُحُفِ suhufi
مُوسَىٰ  musaa
٣٦
53:36 Or not he was informed with what (was) in (the) Scriptures (of) Musa,
وَإِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ waIbraahima
ٱلَّذِی Alladhi
وَفَّىٰۤ  waffaa
٣٧
53:37 And Ibrahim, who fulfilled?
أَلَّا Alla
تَزِرُ taziru
وَازِرَةࣱ wazirah
وِزۡرَ wizra
أُخۡرَىٰ  Aukhraa
٣٨
53:38 That not will bear a bearer of burdens (the) burden (of) another,
وَأَن waAn
لَّیۡسَ llaysa
لِلۡإِنسَـٰنِ lilInsaani
إِلَّا Illa
مَا ma
سَعَىٰ  sa'aa
٣٩
53:39 And that is not for man except what he strives (for),
وَأَنَّ waAnna
سَعۡیَهُۥ sa'yahu
سَوۡفَ sawfa
یُرَىٰ  yuraa
٤٠
53:40 And that his striving will soon be seen.
ثُمَّ thumma
یُجۡزَىٰهُ yujzaahu
ٱلۡجَزَاۤءَ Aljazaa'a
ٱلۡأَوۡفَىٰ  AlAwfaa
٤١
53:41 Then he will be recompensed for it the recompense the fullest.
وَأَنَّ waAnna
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
رَبِّكَ rabbika
ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ  Almuntahaa
٤٢
53:42 And that to your Lord (is) the final goal.
وَأَنَّهُۥ waAnnahu
هُوَ huwa
أَضۡحَكَ Adhaka
وَأَبۡكَىٰ  waAbkaa
٤٣
53:43 And that He [He] makes (one) laugh and makes (one) weep.
وَأَنَّهُۥ waAnnahu
هُوَ huwa
أَمَاتَ Amata
وَأَحۡیَا  waAhya
٤٤
53:44 And that He [He] causes death and gives life.
وَأَنَّهُۥ waAnnahu
خَلَقَ khalaqa
ٱلزَّوۡجَیۡنِ Azzawjayni
ٱلذَّكَرَ Adhdhakara
وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ  waAlAunthaa
٤٥
53:45 And that He created the pairs, the male and the female
مِن min
نُّطۡفَةٍ nnutfahin
إِذَا Idha
تُمۡنَىٰ  tumnaa
٤٦
53:46 From a semen-drop when it is emitted.
وَأَنَّ waAnna
عَلَیۡهِ 'alayhi
ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ AnnashAha
ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ  AlAukhraa
٤٧
53:47 And that upon Him (is) the bringing forth another.
وَأَنَّهُۥ waAnnahu
هُوَ huwa
أَغۡنَىٰ Aghnaa
وَأَقۡنَىٰ  waAqnaa
٤٨
53:48 And that He [He] enriches and suffices.
وَأَنَّهُۥ waAnnahu
هُوَ huwa
رَبُّ rabbu
ٱلشِّعۡرَىٰ  Ashshi'raa
٤٩
53:49 And that He [He] (is the) Lord (of) Sirius
وَأَنَّهُۥۤ waAnnahu
أَهۡلَكَ Ahlaka
عَادًا 'adana
ٱلۡأُولَىٰ  AlAulaa
٥٠
53:50 And that He destroyed Aad the first,
وَثَمُودَا۟ wathamuda
فَمَاۤ famaa
أَبۡقَىٰ  Abqaa
٥١
53:51 And Thamud, so not He spared,
وَقَوۡمَ waqawma
نُوحࣲ nuh
مِّن mmin
قَبۡلُۖ qablu
إِنَّهُمۡ Innahum
كَانُوا۟ kanua
هُمۡ hum
أَظۡلَمَ Azlama
وَأَطۡغَىٰ  waAtghaa
٥٢
53:52 And (the) people (of) Nuh from before. Indeed, they they were more unjust and more rebellious.
وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ waAlmuutafikaha
أَهۡوَىٰ  Ahwaa
٥٣
53:53 And the overturned cities He overthrew
فَغَشَّىٰهَا faghashshaaha
مَا ma
غَشَّىٰ  ghashshaa
٥٤
53:54 So covered them what covered.
فَبِأَیِّ fabiAyyi
ءَالَاۤءِ 'alaa'i
رَبِّكَ rabbika
تَتَمَارَىٰ  tatamaraa
٥٥
53:55 Then which (of) the Favors (of) your Lord, will you doubt?
هَـٰذَا haadha
نَذِیرࣱ nadhir
مِّنَ mmina
ٱلنُّذُرِ Annudhuri
ٱلۡأُولَىٰۤ  AlAulaa
٥٦
53:56 This (is) a warner, from the warners the former.
أَزِفَتِ Azifati
ٱلۡءَازِفَةُ  Al'azifahu
٥٧
53:57 Has approached the Approaching Day.
لَیۡسَ laysa
لَهَا laha
مِن min
دُونِ duni
ٱللَّهِ Allahi
كَاشِفَةٌ  kashifahun
٥٨
53:58 Not is for it from besides Allah any remover.
أَفَمِنۡ Afamin
هَـٰذَا haadha
ٱلۡحَدِیثِ Alhadithi
تَعۡجَبُونَ  ta'jabuna
٥٩
53:59 Then of this statement you wonder?
وَتَضۡحَكُونَ watadhakuna
وَلَا wala
تَبۡكُونَ  tabkuna
٦٠
53:60 And you laugh and (do) not weep,
وَأَنتُمۡ waAntum
سَـٰمِدُونَ  saamiduna
٦١
53:61 While you amuse (yourselves)?
فَ̅ٱ̅سۡ̅جُ̅دُ̅و̅ا۟̅ faIsjudua
لِلَّهِ lillahi
وَٱعۡبُدُوا۟  ۩ waI'budua
62
53:62 So prostrate to Allah and worship (Him).
