Quran 53 : 60

And laugh and not weep

and laugh and not weep

And laugh and not weep

You laugh and do not cry

and laugh and do not cry,

And laugh and do not cry?

You laugh, and do not weep

You laugh, and do not weep

And laugh, and do not weep

and do ye laugh and not weep

Would you laugh and not cry?

and laugh instead of weeping

And you laugh and do not wee

And do you laugh and not weep

and do ye laugh, and not weep

Will you laugh and not cry?

And you laugh and do not weep

And do you laugh and weep not

And do you laugh and not weep

And you laugh, and do not weep

And you laugh and do not weep.

And that ye laugh and weep not

and you laugh and do not weep,

And do you laugh and not weep?

And do you laugh and not weep?

and laugh at it and don’t weep?

And do you laugh, and weep not.

And will you laugh and not weep

And you laugh, and you weep not

And will you laugh and not weep

And will you laugh and not weep

and laugh (at it), and not weep

And you laugh, and do not weep?

And will you laugh and not weep

And will you laugh and not weep

And will ye laugh and not weep,

And you laugh and (do) not weep

And you laugh at it and weep not

And keep laughing and do not weep

Why do you laugh rather than weep

And you laugh rather than weeping!

Will you laugh at it and not weep!

Why do you laugh instead of weeping

Or do you laugh, and do you not wee

And do you laugh instead of weeping

and do they laugh instead of weeping

Are you laughing, instead of crying?

and do you laugh, and do you not weep

Will you laugh at it rather than weep

And do you laugh, and do you not weep

This is a warner of the warners of old

And poke fun at it instead of weeping,

And poke fun at it instead of weeping,

And will you laugh and not weep—

and you laugh (at it), and you do not cry

And you laugh/wonder, and you do not weep

And you are laughing, while you should be crying

laughing ˹at it˺ and not weeping ˹in awe˺,

That you laugh at it instead of crying [for your miserable future]

(For on hearing the mention of the Hour of punishment) you laugh rather than weep

And do you laugh and not weep (in consideration of your recalcitrance and sinfulness)
