Quran 53 : 34

and was stingy in charity

gave a little and held off

Gives a little, then hardens

Gave a little, then held back

and gives a little, grudgingly

and gave a little, and stopped

And he gave very little, then he stopped.

he only gave a little and then he stopped

And he/she gives a little, and then stops

And he gives little and he became miserly.

And gives little and (then) parsimoniously

Who gave little, then refrained (from giving)!

[He/she] gives a little, and then withholds.

giving little at first and then nothing at all

And gave a little and [then] refrained

and giveth little, and covetously stoppeth his hand

Rarely did he give to charity, and then very little.

and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God

And gives so little of himself, yet with a heavy heart

He gives little anyway then becomes more stingy.

He gave a little (amount of money), then he stopped (giving).

Gives (in) a little then hardens his heart (and his feelings)

He has given (the needy) a little, then he is stern (in not giving)

And gives but a little (in the cause of Allah) and does it grudgingly

and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul], and so grudgingly

And he gave away a little (wealth in the way of Allah) and (then) held back (his hand)

and ˹initially˺ paid a little ˹for his salvation˺, and then stopped?

Those who avoid the great sins and the indecencies, but the passing idea -- surely thy Lord is Liberal in Forgiving. He knows best when He brings you forth from the earth and when you are embryos in the wombs of your mothers; so ascribe not purity to yourselves. He knows him best who guards against evil
