Surah An-Naazi'aat • Quran 79

وَٱلنَّـٰزِعَـٰتِ waAnnaazi'aati
غَرۡقࣰا  gharqa
١
79:1 By those who extract violently,
وَٱلنَّـٰشِطَـٰتِ waAnnaashitaati
نَشۡطࣰا  nashta
٢
79:2 And those who draw out gently,
وَٱلسَّـٰبِحَـٰتِ waAssaabihaati
سَبۡحࣰا  sabha
٣
79:3 And those who glide swimming,
فَٱلسَّـٰبِقَـٰتِ faAssaabiqaati
سَبۡقࣰا  sabqa
٤
79:4 And those who race each other (in) a race,
فَٱلۡمُدَبِّرَ ٰتِ faAlmudabbiraati
أَمۡرࣰا  Amra
٥
79:5 And those who arrange (the) matter.
یَوۡمَ yawma
تَرۡجُفُ tarjufu
ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ  Arrajifahu
٦
79:6 (The) Day will quake the quaking one,
تَتۡبَعُهَا tatba'uha
ٱلرَّادِفَةُ  Arradifahu
٧
79:7 Follows it the subsequent,
قُلُوبࣱ qulub
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
وَاجِفَةٌ  wajifahun
٨
79:8 Hearts, that Day, will palpitate,
أَبۡصَـٰرُهَا Absaaruha
خَـٰشِعَةࣱ  khaashi'ah
٩
79:9 Their eyes humbled.
یَقُولُونَ yaquluna
أَءِنَّا A'inna
لَمَرۡدُودُونَ lamarduduna
فِی fi
ٱلۡحَافِرَةِ  Alhafirahi
١٠
79:10 They say, "Will we indeed be returned to the former state?
أَءِذَا A'idha
كُنَّا kunna
عِظَـٰمࣰا 'izaama
نَّخِرَةࣰ  nnakhirah
١١
79:11 What! When we are bones decayed?"
قَالُوا۟ qalua
تِلۡكَ tilka
إِذࣰا Idha
كَرَّةٌ karrahun
خَاسِرَةࣱ  khasirah
١٢
79:12 They say, "This then (would be) a return losing."
فَإِنَّمَا faInnama
هِیَ hiya
زَجۡرَةࣱ zajrah
وَ ٰحِدَةࣱ  waahidah
١٣
79:13 Then only it (will be) a shout single,
فَإِذَا faIdha
هُم hum
بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ  biAssahirahi
١٤
79:14 And behold! They (will be) awakened.
هَلۡ hal
أَتَىٰكَ Ataaka
حَدِیثُ hadithu
مُوسَىٰۤ  musaa
١٥
79:15 Has (there) come to you (the) story (of) Musa?
إِذۡ Idh
نَادَىٰهُ nadaahu
رَبُّهُۥ rabbuhu
بِٱلۡوَادِ biAlwadi
ٱلۡمُقَدَّسِ Almuqaddasi
طُوًى  tuwana
١٦
79:16 When called him his Lord in the valley the sacred (of) Tuwa,
ٱذۡهَبۡ Idhhab
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
فِرۡعَوۡنَ fir'awna
إِنَّهُۥ Innahu
طَغَىٰ  taghaa
١٧
79:17 "Go to Firaun. Indeed, he (has) transgressed.
فَقُلۡ faqul
هَل hal
لَّكَ llaka
إِلَىٰۤ Ilaa
أَن An
تَزَكَّىٰ  tazakkaa
١٨
79:18 And say, "Would [for] you [to] [that] purify yourself?
وَأَهۡدِیَكَ waAhdiyaka
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
رَبِّكَ rabbika
فَتَخۡشَىٰ  fatakhshaa
١٩
79:19 And I will guide you to your Lord so you would fear."
فَأَرَىٰهُ faAraahu
ٱلۡءَایَةَ Al'ayaha
ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ  Alkubraa
٢٠
79:20 Then he showed him the sign the great.
فَكَذَّبَ fakadhdhaba
وَعَصَىٰ  wa'asaa
٢١
79:21 But he denied and disobeyed.
ثُمَّ thumma
أَدۡبَرَ Adbara
یَسۡعَىٰ  yas'aa
٢٢
79:22 Then he turned his back, striving,
فَحَشَرَ fahashara
فَنَادَىٰ  fanadaa
٢٣
79:23 And he gathered and called out,
فَقَالَ faqala
أَنَا۠ Ana
رَبُّكُمُ rabbukumu
ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ  AlA'laa
٢٤
79:24 Then he said, "I am your Lord, the Most High."
فَأَخَذَهُ faAkhadhahu
ٱللَّهُ Allahu
نَكَالَ nakala
ٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ Al'akhirahi
وَٱلۡأُولَىٰۤ  waAlAulaa
٢٥
79:25 So seized him Allah (with) an exemplary punishment (for) the last and the first.
إِنَّ Inna
فِی fi
ذَ ٰلِكَ dhaalika
لَعِبۡرَةࣰ la'ibrah
لِّمَن lliman
یَخۡشَىٰۤ  yakhshaa
٢٦
79:26 Indeed, in that surely (is) a lesson for whoever fears.
ءَأَنتُمۡ 'aAntum
أَشَدُّ Ashaddu
خَلۡقًا khalqana
أَمِ Ami
ٱلسَّمَاۤءُۚ Assamaa'u
بَنَىٰهَا  banaaha
٢٧
79:27 Are you a more difficult creation or the heaven. He constructed it?
رَفَعَ rafa'a
سَمۡكَهَا samkaha
فَسَوَّىٰهَا  fasawwaaha
٢٨
79:28 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it.
وَأَغۡطَشَ waAghtasha
لَیۡلَهَا laylaha
وَأَخۡرَجَ waAkhraja
ضُحَىٰهَا  duhaaha
٢٩
79:29 And He darkened its night and brought out its brightness.
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ waAlArda
بَعۡدَ ba'da
ذَ ٰلِكَ dhaalika
دَحَىٰهَاۤ  dahaahaa
٣٠
79:30 And the earth after that He spread it.
أَخۡرَجَ Akhraja
مِنۡهَا minha
مَاۤءَهَا maa'aha
وَمَرۡعَىٰهَا  wamar'aaha
٣١
79:31 He brought forth from it, its water and its pasture,
وَٱلۡجِبَالَ waAljibala
أَرۡسَىٰهَا  Arsaaha
٣٢
79:32 And the mountains, He made them firm,
مَتَـٰعࣰا mataa'a
لَّكُمۡ llakum
وَلِأَنۡعَـٰمِكُمۡ  waliAn'aamikum
٣٣
79:33 (As) a provision for you and for your cattle.
فَإِذَا faIdha
جَاۤءَتِ jaa'ati
ٱلطَّاۤمَّةُ Attaammahu
ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ  Alkubraa
٣٤
79:34 But when comes the Overwhelming Calamity the great,
یَوۡمَ yawma
یَتَذَكَّرُ yatadhakkaru
ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ AlInsaanu
مَا ma
سَعَىٰ  sa'aa
٣٥
79:35 (The) Day will remember man what he strove (for),
وَبُرِّزَتِ waburrizati
ٱلۡجَحِیمُ Aljahimu
لِمَن liman
یَرَىٰ  yaraa
٣٦
79:36 And will be made manifest the Hellfire to (him) who sees,
فَأَمَّا faAmma
مَن man
طَغَىٰ  taghaa
٣٧
79:37 Then as for (him) who transgressed,
وَءَاثَرَ wa'athara
ٱلۡحَیَوٰةَ Alhayawaha
ٱلدُّنۡیَا  Addunya
٣٨
79:38 And preferred the life (of) the world,
فَإِنَّ faInna
ٱلۡجَحِیمَ Aljahima
هِیَ hiya
ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ  AlmaAwaa
٣٩
79:39 Then indeed, the Hellfire, it (is) the refuge.
وَأَمَّا waAmma
مَنۡ man
خَافَ khafa
مَقَامَ maqama
رَبِّهِۦ rabbihi
وَنَهَى wanahaa
ٱلنَّفۡسَ Annafsa
عَنِ 'ani
ٱلۡهَوَىٰ  Alhawaa
٤٠
79:40 But as for (him) who feared standing (before) his Lord, and restrained his soul from the vain desires,
فَإِنَّ faInna
ٱلۡجَنَّةَ Aljannaha
هِیَ hiya
ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ  AlmaAwaa
٤١
79:41 Then indeed, Paradise - it (is) the refuge.
یَسۡءَلُونَكَ yas'alunaka
عَنِ 'ani
ٱلسَّاعَةِ Assa'ahi
أَیَّانَ Ayyana
مُرۡسَىٰهَا  mursaaha
٤٢
79:42 They ask you about the Hour, when (is) its arrival?
فِیمَ fima
أَنتَ Anta
مِن min
ذِكۡرَىٰهَاۤ  dhikraahaa
٤٣
79:43 In what (are) you [of] (to) mention it?
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
رَبِّكَ rabbika
مُنتَهَىٰهَاۤ  muntahaahaa
٤٤
79:44 To your Lord (is) its finality.
إِنَّمَاۤ Innamaa
أَنتَ Anta
مُنذِرُ mundhiru
مَن man
یَخۡشَىٰهَا  yakhshaaha
٤٥
79:45 Only you (are) a warner (for him) who fears it.
كَأَنَّهُمۡ kaAnnahum
یَوۡمَ yawma
یَرَوۡنَهَا yarawnaha
لَمۡ lam
یَلۡبَثُوۤا۟ yalbathua
إِلَّا Illa
عَشِیَّةً 'ashiyyahan
أَوۡ Aw
ضُحَىٰهَا  duhaaha
٤٦
79:46 As though they, (the) Day they see it, not they had remained except an evening or a morning thereof.
