69:1 The Inevitable Reality!
مَا ma
ٱلۡحَاۤقَّةُ  Alhaaqqahu
٢
69:2 What (is) the Inevitable Reality?
وَمَاۤ wamaa
أَدۡرَىٰكَ Adraaka
مَا ma
ٱلۡحَاۤقَّةُ  Alhaaqqahu
٣
69:3 And what will make you know what (is) the Inevitable Reality?
كَذَّبَتۡ kadhdhabat
ثَمُودُ thamudu
وَعَادُۢ wa'adu
بِٱلۡقَارِعَةِ  biAlqari'ahi
٤
69:4 Denied Thamud and Aad the Striking Calamity.
فَأَمَّا faAmma
ثَمُودُ thamudu
فَأُهۡلِكُوا۟ faAuhlikua
بِٱلطَّاغِیَةِ  biAttaghiyahi
٥
69:5 So as for Thamud, they were destroyed by the overpowering (blast).
وَأَمَّا waAmma
عَادࣱ 'ad
فَأُهۡلِكُوا۟ faAuhlikua
بِرِیحࣲ birih
صَرۡصَرٍ sarsarin
عَاتِیَةࣲ  'atiyah
٦
69:6 And as for Aad, they were destroyed by a wind screaming violent,
سَخَّرَهَا sakhkharaha
عَلَیۡهِمۡ 'alayhim
سَبۡعَ sab'a
لَیَالࣲ layal
وَثَمَـٰنِیَةَ wathamaaniyaha
أَیَّامٍ Ayyamin
حُسُومࣰاۖ husuma
فَتَرَى fataraa
ٱلۡقَوۡمَ Alqawma
فِیهَا fiha
صَرۡعَىٰ sar'aa
كَأَنَّهُمۡ kaAnnahum
أَعۡجَازُ A'jazu
نَخۡلٍ nakhlin
خَاوِیَةࣲ  khawiyah
٧
69:7 Which He imposed upon them (for) seven nights and eight days (in) succession, so you would see the people therein fallen as if they were trunks (of) date-palms hollow.
فَهَلۡ fahal
تَرَىٰ taraa
لَهُم lahum
مِّنۢ mmin
بَاقِیَةࣲ  baqiyah
٨
69:8 Then do you see of them any remains?
وَجَاۤءَ wajaa'a
فِرۡعَوۡنُ fir'awnu
وَمَن waman
قَبۡلَهُۥ qablahu
وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَـٰتُ waAlmuutafikaatu
بِٱلۡخَاطِئَةِ  biAlkhatieahi
٩
69:9 And came Firaun, and (those) before him, and the overturned cities with sin.
فَعَصَوۡا۟ fa'asawa
رَسُولَ rasula
رَبِّهِمۡ rabbihim
فَأَخَذَهُمۡ faAkhadhahum
أَخۡذَةࣰ Akhdhah
رَّابِیَةً  rrabiyahan
١٠
69:10 And they disobeyed (the) Messenger (of) their Lord, so He seized them (with) a seizure exceeding.
إِنَّا Inna
لَمَّا lamma
طَغَا tagha
ٱلۡمَاۤءُ Almaa'u
حَمَلۡنَـٰكُمۡ hamalnaakum
فِی fi
ٱلۡجَارِیَةِ  Aljariyahi
١١
69:11 Indeed, We when overflowed the water, We carried you in the sailing (ship).
لِنَجۡعَلَهَا linaj'alaha
لَكُمۡ lakum
تَذۡكِرَةࣰ tadhkirah
وَتَعِیَهَاۤ wata'iyahaa
أُذُنࣱ Audhun
وَ ٰعِیَةࣱ  waa'iyah
١٢
69:12 That We might make it for you a reminder and would be conscious of it an ear conscious.
فَإِذَا faIdha
نُفِخَ nufikha
فِی fi
ٱلصُّورِ Assuri
نَفۡخَةࣱ nafkhah
وَ ٰحِدَةࣱ  waahidah
١٣
69:13 Then when is blown in the trumpet - a blast single,
وَحُمِلَتِ wahumilati
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ AlArdu
وَٱلۡجِبَالُ waAljibalu
فَدُكَّتَا fadukkata
دَكَّةࣰ dakkah
وَ ٰحِدَةࣰ  waahidah
١٤
69:14 And are lifted the earth and the mountains and crushed (with) a crushing single.
فَیَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ fayawmaaidh
وَقَعَتِ waqa'ati
ٱلۡوَاقِعَةُ  Alwaqi'ahu
١٥
69:15 Then (on) that Day will occur the Occurrence,
وَٱنشَقَّتِ waInshaqqati
ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ Assamaa'u
فَهِیَ fahiya
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
وَاهِیَةࣱ  wahiyah
١٦
69:16 And will split the heaven, so it (is on) that Day frail.
وَٱلۡمَلَكُ waAlmalaku
عَلَىٰۤ 'alaa
أَرۡجَاۤىِٕهَاۚ Arjaaiha
وَیَحۡمِلُ wayahmilu
عَرۡشَ 'arsha
رَبِّكَ rabbika
فَوۡقَهُمۡ fawqahum
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
ثَمَـٰنِیَةࣱ  thamaaniyah
١٧
69:17 And the Angels (will be) on its edges, and will bear (the) Throne (of) your Lord above them, that Day, eight.
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
تُعۡرَضُونَ tu'raduna
لَا la
تَخۡفَىٰ takhfaa
مِنكُمۡ minkum
خَافِیَةࣱ  khafiyah
١٨
69:18 That Day, you will be exhibited, not will be hidden among you any secret.
فَأَمَّا faAmma
مَنۡ man
أُوتِیَ Autiya
كِتَـٰبَهُۥ kitaabahu
بِیَمِینِهِۦ biyaminihi
فَیَقُولُ fayaqulu
هَاۤؤُمُ haauumu
ٱقۡرَءُوا۟ Iqra'ua
كِتَـٰبِیَهۡ  kitaabiyah
١٩
69:19 Then as for (him) who is given his record in his right hand will say, "Here, read my record!
إِنِّی Inni
ظَنَنتُ zanantu
أَنِّی Anni
مُلَـٰقٍ mulaaqin
حِسَابِیَهۡ  hisabiyah
٢٠
69:20 Indeed, I was certain that I (will) meet my account."
فَهُوَ fahuwa
فِی fi
عِیشَةࣲ 'ishah
رَّاضِیَةࣲ  rradiyah
٢١
69:21 So he (will be) in a life pleasant,
فِی fi
جَنَّةٍ jannahin
عَالِیَةࣲ  'aliyah
٢٢
69:22 In a Garden elevated,
قُطُوفُهَا qutufuha
دَانِیَةࣱ  daniyah
٢٣
69:23 Its clusters of fruits hanging near.
كُلُوا۟ kulua
وَٱشۡرَبُوا۟ waIshrabua
هَنِیۤءَۢا hani'a
بِمَاۤ bimaa
أَسۡلَفۡتُمۡ Aslaftum
فِی fi
ٱلۡأَیَّامِ AlAyyami
ٱلۡخَالِیَةِ  Alkhaliyahi
٢٤
69:24 "Eat and drink (in) satisfaction for what you sent before you in the days past."
وَأَمَّا waAmma
مَنۡ man
أُوتِیَ Autiya
كِتَـٰبَهُۥ kitaabahu
بِشِمَالِهِۦ bishimalihi
فَیَقُولُ fayaqulu
یَـٰلَیۡتَنِی yaalaytani
لَمۡ lam
أُوتَ Auta
كِتَـٰبِیَهۡ  kitaabiyah
٢٥
69:25 But as for (him) who is given his record in his left hand will say, "O! I wish not I had been given my record
وَلَمۡ walam
أَدۡرِ Adri
مَا ma
حِسَابِیَهۡ  hisabiyah
٢٦
69:26 And not I had known what (is) my account.
یَـٰلَیۡتَهَا yaalaytaha
كَانَتِ kanati
ٱلۡقَاضِیَةَ  Alqadiyaha
٢٧
69:27 O! I wish it had been the end
مَاۤ maa
أَغۡنَىٰ Aghnaa
عَنِّی 'anni
مَالِیَهۡۜ  maliyah
٢٨
69:28 Not has availed me my wealth,
هَلَكَ halaka
عَنِّی 'anni
سُلۡطَـٰنِیَهۡ  sultaaniyah
٢٩
69:29 Is gone from me my authority."
خُذُوهُ khudhuhu
فَغُلُّوهُ  faghulluhu
٣٠
69:30 "Seize him and shackle him,
ثُمَّ thumma
ٱلۡجَحِیمَ Aljahima
صَلُّوهُ  salluhu
٣١
69:31 Then (into) the Hellfire burn him.
ثُمَّ thumma
فِی fi
سِلۡسِلَةࣲ silsilah
ذَرۡعُهَا dhar'uha
سَبۡعُونَ sab'una
ذِرَاعࣰا dhira'a
فَٱسۡلُكُوهُ  faIslukuhu
٣٢
69:32 Then into a chain, its length (is) seventy cubits, insert him."
إِنَّهُۥ Innahu
كَانَ kana
لَا la
یُؤۡمِنُ yuuminu
بِٱللَّهِ biAllahi
ٱلۡعَظِیمِ  Al'azimi
٣٣
69:33 Indeed, he was not believing in Allah the Most Great,
وَلَا wala
یَحُضُّ yahuddu
عَلَىٰ 'alaa
طَعَامِ ta'ami
ٱلۡمِسۡكِینِ  Almiskini
٣٤
69:34 And (did) not feel the urge on (the) feeding (of) the poor.
فَلَیۡسَ falaysa
لَهُ lahu
ٱلۡیَوۡمَ Alyawma
هَـٰهُنَا haahuna
حَمِیمࣱ  hamim
٣٥
69:35 So not for him today here any devoted friend,
وَلَا wala
طَعَامٌ ta'amun
إِلَّا Illa
مِنۡ min
غِسۡلِینࣲ  ghislin
٣٦
69:36 And not any food except from (the) discharge of wounds,
لَّا lla
یَأۡكُلُهُۥۤ yaAkuluhu
إِلَّا Illa
ٱلۡخَـٰطِءُونَ  Alkhaati'una
٣٧
69:37 Not will eat it except the sinners.
فَلَاۤ falaa
أُقۡسِمُ Auqsimu
بِمَا bima
تُبۡصِرُونَ  tubsiruna
٣٨
69:38 But nay! I swear by what you see,
وَمَا wama
لَا la
تُبۡصِرُونَ  tubsiruna
٣٩
69:39 And what not you see,
إِنَّهُۥ Innahu
لَقَوۡلُ laqawlu
رَسُولࣲ rasul
كَرِیمࣲ  karim
٤٠
69:40 Indeed, it (is) surely (the) Word (of) a Messenger noble.
وَمَا wama
هُوَ huwa
بِقَوۡلِ biqawli
شَاعِرࣲۚ sha'ir
قَلِیلࣰا qalila
مَّا mma
تُؤۡمِنُونَ  tuuminuna
٤١
69:41 And not it (is the) word (of) a poet; little (is) what you believe!
وَلَا wala
بِقَوۡلِ biqawli
كَاهِنࣲۚ kahin
قَلِیلࣰا qalila
مَّا mma
تَذَكَّرُونَ  tadhakkaruna
٤٢
69:42 And not (it is the) word (of) a soothsayer; little (is) what you take heed.
تَنزِیلࣱ tanzil
مِّن mmin
رَّبِّ rrabbi
ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ  Al'aalamina
٤٣
69:43 (It is) a revelation from (the) Lord (of) the worlds.
وَلَوۡ walaw
تَقَوَّلَ taqawwala
عَلَیۡنَا 'alayna
بَعۡضَ ba'da
ٱلۡأَقَاوِیلِ  AlAqawili
٤٤
69:44 And if he (had) fabricated against Us some sayings,
لَأَخَذۡنَا laAkhadhna
مِنۡهُ minhu
بِٱلۡیَمِینِ  biAlyamini
٤٥
69:45 Certainly We (would) have seized him by the right hand;
ثُمَّ thumma
لَقَطَعۡنَا laqata'na
مِنۡهُ minhu
ٱلۡوَتِینَ  Alwatina
٤٦
69:46 Then certainly We (would) have cut off from him the aorta.
فَمَا fama
مِنكُم minkum
مِّنۡ mmin
أَحَدٍ Ahadin
عَنۡهُ 'anhu
حَـٰجِزِینَ  haajizina
٤٧
69:47 And not from you any one [from him] (who could) prevent (it).
وَإِنَّهُۥ waInnahu
لَتَذۡكِرَةࣱ latadhkirah
لِّلۡمُتَّقِینَ  llilmuttaqina
٤٨
69:48 And indeed, it (is) surely a reminder for the Allah-fearing.
وَإِنَّا waInna
لَنَعۡلَمُ lana'lamu
أَنَّ Anna
مِنكُم minkum
مُّكَذِّبِینَ  mmukadhdhibina
٤٩
69:49 And indeed, We surely know that among you (are) deniers.
وَإِنَّهُۥ waInnahu
لَحَسۡرَةٌ lahasrahun
عَلَى 'alaa
ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ  Alkaafirina
٥٠
69:50 And indeed, it (is) surely a regret upon the disbelievers.
وَإِنَّهُۥ waInnahu
لَحَقُّ lahaqqu
ٱلۡیَقِینِ  Alyaqini
٥١
69:51 And indeed, it (is) surely (the) truth (of) certainty.
فَسَبِّحۡ fasabbih
بِٱسۡمِ biIsmi
رَبِّكَ rabbika
ٱلۡعَظِیمِ  Al'azimi
٥٢
69:52 So glorify (the) name (of) your Lord, the Most Great.
