قَوۡمَكَ qawmaka
مِن min
قَبۡلِ qabli
أَن An
یَأۡتِیَهُمۡ yaAtiyahum
عَذَابٌ 'adhabun
أَلِیمࣱ  Alim
١
71:1 Indeed, We [We] sent Nuh to his people, that "Warn your people from before [that] comes to them a punishment painful."
قَالَ qala
یَـٰقَوۡمِ yaaqawmi
إِنِّی Inni
لَكُمۡ lakum
نَذِیرࣱ nadhir
مُّبِینٌ  mmubinun
٢
71:2 He said, "O my people! Indeed, I am to you a warner clear.
أَنِ Ani
ٱعۡبُدُوا۟ I'budua
ٱللَّهَ Allaha
وَٱتَّقُوهُ waIttaquhu
وَأَطِیعُونِ  waAti'uni
٣
71:3 That Worship Allah, and fear Him and obey me.
یَغۡفِرۡ yaghfir
لَكُم lakum
مِّن mmin
ذُنُوبِكُمۡ dhunubikum
وَیُؤَخِّرۡكُمۡ wayuuakhkhirkum
إِلَىٰۤ Ilaa
أَجَلࣲ Ajal
مُّسَمًّىۚ mmusammana
إِنَّ Inna
أَجَلَ Ajala
ٱللَّهِ Allahi
إِذَا Idha
جَاۤءَ jaa'a
لَا la
یُؤَخَّرُۚ yuuakhkharu
لَوۡ law
كُنتُمۡ kuntum
تَعۡلَمُونَ  ta'lamuna
٤
71:4 He will forgive for you [of] your sins and give you respite for a term specified. Indeed, (the) term, (of) Allah, when it comes not is delayed, if you know."
قَالَ qala
رَبِّ rabbi
إِنِّی Inni
دَعَوۡتُ da'awtu
قَوۡمِی qawmi
لَیۡلࣰا layla
وَنَهَارࣰا  wanahara
٥
71:5 He said, "My Lord! Indeed, I invited my people night and day.
فَلَمۡ falam
یَزِدۡهُمۡ yazidhum
دُعَاۤءِیۤ du'aa'i
إِلَّا Illa
فِرَارࣰا  firara
٦
71:6 But not increased them my invitation except (in) flight.
وَإِنِّی waInni
كُلَّمَا kullama
دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ da'awtuhum
لِتَغۡفِرَ litaghfira
لَهُمۡ lahum
جَعَلُوۤا۟ ja'alua
أَصَـٰبِعَهُمۡ Asaabi'ahum
فِیۤ fi
ءَاذَانِهِمۡ 'adhanihim
وَٱسۡتَغۡشَوۡا۟ waIstaghshawa
ثِیَابَهُمۡ thiyabahum
وَأَصَرُّوا۟ waAsarrua
وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوا۟ waIstakbarua
ٱسۡتِكۡبَارࣰا  Istikbara
٧
71:7 And indeed, I every time, I invited them that You may forgive them, they put their fingers in their ears and covered themselves (with) their garments and persisted and were arrogant (with) pride.
ثُمَّ thumma
إِنِّی Inni
دَعَوۡتُهُمۡ da'awtuhum
جِهَارࣰا  jihara
٨
71:8 Then indeed, I invited them publicly.
ثُمَّ thumma
إِنِّیۤ Inni
أَعۡلَنتُ A'lantu
لَهُمۡ lahum
وَأَسۡرَرۡتُ waAsrartu
لَهُمۡ lahum
إِسۡرَارࣰا  Israra
٩
71:9 Then indeed, I announced to them and I confided to them secretly,
فَقُلۡتُ faqultu
ٱسۡتَغۡفِرُوا۟ Istaghfirua
رَبَّكُمۡ rabbakum
إِنَّهُۥ Innahu
كَانَ kana
غَفَّارࣰا  ghaffara
١٠
71:10 Then I said, "Ask forgiveness (from) your Lord. Indeed, He is Oft-Forgiving.
یُرۡسِلِ yursili
ٱلسَّمَاۤءَ Assamaa'a
عَلَیۡكُم 'alaykum
مِّدۡرَارࣰا  mmidrara
١١
71:11 He will send down (rain from) the sky upon you (in) abundance,
وَیُمۡدِدۡكُم wayumdidkum
بِأَمۡوَ ٰلࣲ biAmwaal
وَبَنِینَ wabanina
وَیَجۡعَل wayaj'al
لَّكُمۡ llakum
جَنَّـٰتࣲ jannaat
وَیَجۡعَل wayaj'al
لَّكُمۡ llakum
أَنۡهَـٰرࣰا  Anhaara
١٢
71:12 And provide you with wealth and children, and make for you gardens and make for you rivers.
مَّا mma
لَكُمۡ lakum
لَا la
تَرۡجُونَ tarjuna
لِلَّهِ lillahi
وَقَارࣰا  waqara
١٣
71:13 What (is) for you, not you attribute to Allah grandeur?
وَقَدۡ waqad
خَلَقَكُمۡ khalaqakum
أَطۡوَارًا  Atwarana
١٤
71:14 And indeed, He created you (in) stages.
أَلَمۡ Alam
تَرَوۡا۟ tarawa
كَیۡفَ kayfa
خَلَقَ khalaqa
ٱللَّهُ Allahu
سَبۡعَ sab'a
سَمَـٰوَ ٰتࣲ samaawaat
طِبَاقࣰا  tibaqa
١٥
71:15 Do not you see how did create Allah (the) seven heavens (in) layers,
وَجَعَلَ waja'ala
ٱلۡقَمَرَ Alqamara
فِیهِنَّ fihinna
نُورࣰا nura
وَجَعَلَ waja'ala
ٱلشَّمۡسَ Ashshamsa
سِرَاجࣰا  siraja
١٦
71:16 And made the moon therein a light and made the sun a lamp?
وَٱللَّهُ waAllahu
أَنۢبَتَكُم Anbatakum
مِّنَ mmina
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ AlArdi
نَبَاتࣰا  nabata
١٧
71:17 And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth (as) a growth.
ثُمَّ thumma
یُعِیدُكُمۡ yu'idukum
فِیهَا fiha
وَیُخۡرِجُكُمۡ wayukhrijukum
إِخۡرَاجࣰا  Ikhraja
١٨
71:18 Then He will return you into it and bring you forth, (a new) bringing forth.
وَٱللَّهُ waAllahu
جَعَلَ ja'ala
لَكُمُ lakumu
ٱلۡأَرۡضَ AlArda
بِسَاطࣰا  bisata
١٩
71:19 And Allah made for you the earth an expanse,
لِّتَسۡلُكُوا۟ llitaslukua
مِنۡهَا minha
سُبُلࣰا subula
فِجَاجࣰا  fijaja
٢٠
71:20 That you may go along therein (in) paths wide."
قَالَ qala
نُوحࣱ nuh
رَّبِّ rrabbi
إِنَّهُمۡ Innahum
عَصَوۡنِی 'asawni
وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ waIttaba'ua
مَن man
لَّمۡ llam
یَزِدۡهُ yazidhu
مَالُهُۥ maluhu
وَوَلَدُهُۥۤ wawaladuhu
إِلَّا Illa
خَسَارࣰا  khasara
٢١
71:21 Said Nuh, "My Lord! Indeed, they disobeyed me and followed (the one) who, (did) not increase him his wealth, and his children except (in) loss.
وَمَكَرُوا۟ wamakarua
مَكۡرࣰا makra
كُبَّارࣰا  kubbara
٢٢
71:22 And they have planned, a plan great.
وَقَالُوا۟ waqalua
لَا la
تَذَرُنَّ tadharunna
ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ 'alihatakum
وَلَا wala
تَذَرُنَّ tadharunna
وَدࣰّا wadda
وَلَا wala
سُوَاعࣰا suwa'a
وَلَا wala
یَغُوثَ yaghutha
وَیَعُوقَ waya'uqa
وَنَسۡرࣰا  wanasra
٢٣
71:23 And they said, "(Do) not leave your gods, and (do) not leave Wadd and not Suwa and not Yaguth and Yauq and Nasr."
وَقَدۡ waqad
أَضَلُّوا۟ Adallua
كَثِیرࣰاۖ kathira
وَلَا wala
تَزِدِ tazidi
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ Azzaalimina
إِلَّا Illa
ضَلَـٰلࣰا  dalaala
٢٤
71:24 And indeed, they have led astray many. And not increase the wrongdoers except (in) error."
مِّمَّا mmimma
خَطِیۤءَـٰتِهِمۡ khati'aatihim
أُغۡرِقُوا۟ Aughriqua
فَأُدۡخِلُوا۟ faAudkhilua
نَارࣰا nara
فَلَمۡ falam
یَجِدُوا۟ yajidua
لَهُم lahum
مِّن mmin
دُونِ duni
ٱللَّهِ Allahi
أَنصَارࣰا  Ansara
٢٥
71:25 Because of their sins they were drowned, then made to enter (the) Fire, and not they found for themselves from besides Allah any helpers.
وَقَالَ waqala
نُوحࣱ nuh
رَّبِّ rrabbi
لَا la
تَذَرۡ tadhar
عَلَى 'alaa
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ AlArdi
مِنَ mina
ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ Alkaafirina
دَیَّارًا  dayyarana
٢٦
71:26 And said Nuh, "My Lord! (Do) not leave on the earth any (of) the disbelievers (as) an inhabitant.
إِنَّكَ Innaka
إِن In
تَذَرۡهُمۡ tadharhum
یُضِلُّوا۟ yudillua
عِبَادَكَ 'ibadaka
وَلَا wala
یَلِدُوۤا۟ yalidua
إِلَّا Illa
فَاجِرࣰا fajira
كَفَّارࣰا  kaffara
٢٧
71:27 Indeed, You, if You leave them they will mislead Your slaves and not they will beget except a wicked, a disbeliever.
رَّبِّ rrabbi
ٱغۡفِرۡ Ighfir
لِی li
وَلِوَ ٰلِدَیَّ waliwaalidayya
وَلِمَن waliman
دَخَلَ dakhala
بَیۡتِیَ baytiya
مُؤۡمِنࣰا muumina
وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ walilmuuminina
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِۖ waAlmuuminaati
وَلَا wala
تَزِدِ tazidi
ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ Azzaalimina
إِلَّا Illa
تَبَارَۢا  tabara
٢٨
71:28 My Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and whoever enters my house - a believer and the believing men and the believing women. And (do) not increase the wrongdoers except (in) destruction."
