وَٱلۡفَجۡرِ  waAlfajri
١
89:1 By the dawn,
وَلَیَالٍ walayalin
عَشۡرࣲ  'ashr
٢
89:2 And the nights ten.
وَٱلشَّفۡعِ waAshshaf'i
وَٱلۡوَتۡرِ  waAlwatri
٣
89:3 And the even and the odd,
وَٱلَّیۡلِ waAllayli
إِذَا Idha
یَسۡرِ  yasri
٤
89:4 And the night when it passes.
هَلۡ hal
فِی fi
ذَ ٰلِكَ dhaalika
قَسَمࣱ qasam
لِّذِی llidhi
حِجۡرٍ  hijrin
٥
89:5 Is in that (not) an oath for those who understand?
أَلَمۡ Alam
تَرَ tara
كَیۡفَ kayfa
فَعَلَ fa'ala
رَبُّكَ rabbuka
بِعَادٍ  bi'adin
٦
89:6 Did not you see how dealt your Lord with Aad,
إِرَمَ Irama
ذَاتِ dhati
ٱلۡعِمَادِ  Al'imadi
٧
89:7 Iram, possessors (of), lofty pillars,
ٱلَّتِی Allati
لَمۡ lam
یُخۡلَقۡ yukhlaq
مِثۡلُهَا mithluha
فِی fi
ٱلۡبِلَـٰدِ  Albilaadi
٨
89:8 Which not had been created like them in the cities,
وَثَمُودَ wathamuda
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
جَابُوا۟ jabua
ٱلصَّخۡرَ Assakhra
بِٱلۡوَادِ  biAlwadi
٩
89:9 And Thamud, who carved out the rocks in the valley,
وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ wafir'awna
ذِی dhi
ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ  AlAwtadi
١٠
89:10 And Firaun, owner of stakes?
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
طَغَوۡا۟ taghawa
فِی fi
ٱلۡبِلَـٰدِ  Albilaadi
١١
89:11 Who transgressed in the lands,
فَأَكۡثَرُوا۟ faAktharua
فِیهَا fiha
ٱلۡفَسَادَ  Alfasada
١٢
89:12 And (made) much therein corruption.
فَصَبَّ fasabba
عَلَیۡهِمۡ 'alayhim
رَبُّكَ rabbuka
سَوۡطَ sawta
عَذَابٍ  'adhabin
١٣
89:13 So poured on them your Lord scourge (of) punishment.
إِنَّ Inna
رَبَّكَ rabbaka
لَبِٱلۡمِرۡصَادِ  labiAlmirsadi
١٤
89:14 Indeed, your Lord (is) surely Ever Watchful.
فَأَمَّا faAmma
ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ AlInsaanu
إِذَا Idha
مَا ma
ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ Ibtalaahu
رَبُّهُۥ rabbuhu
فَأَكۡرَمَهُۥ faAkramahu
وَنَعَّمَهُۥ wana''amahu
فَیَقُولُ fayaqulu
رَبِّیۤ rabbi
أَكۡرَمَنِ  Akramani
١٥
89:15 And as for man, when does try him his Lord and is generous to him and favors him, he says, "My Lord has honored me."
وَأَمَّاۤ waAmmaa
إِذَا Idha
مَا ma
ٱبۡتَلَىٰهُ Ibtalaahu
فَقَدَرَ faqadara
عَلَیۡهِ 'alayhi
رِزۡقَهُۥ rizqahu
فَیَقُولُ fayaqulu
رَبِّیۤ rabbi
أَهَـٰنَنِ  Ahaanani
١٦
89:16 But when does He try him and restricts for him his provision, then he says "My Lord (has) humiliated me."
كَلَّاۖ kalla
بَل bal
لَّا lla
تُكۡرِمُونَ tukrimuna
ٱلۡیَتِیمَ  Alyatima
١٧
89:17 Nay! But not you honor the orphan,
وَلَا wala
تَحَـٰۤضُّونَ tahaadduna
عَلَىٰ 'alaa
طَعَامِ ta'ami
ٱلۡمِسۡكِینِ  Almiskini
١٨
89:18 And not you feel the urge to feed the poor.
وَتَأۡكُلُونَ wataAkuluna
ٱلتُّرَاثَ Atturatha
أَكۡلࣰا Akla
لَّمࣰّا  llamma
١٩
89:19 And you consume the inheritance devouring altogether,
وَتُحِبُّونَ watuhibbuna
ٱلۡمَالَ Almala
حُبࣰّا hubba
جَمࣰّا  jamma
٢٠
89:20 And you love wealth (with) love immense.
كَلَّاۤۖ kallaa
إِذَا Idha
دُكَّتِ dukkati
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ AlArdu
دَكࣰّا dakka
دَكࣰّا  dakka
٢١
89:21 Nay! When is leveled the earth, pounded, (and) crushed,
وَجَاۤءَ wajaa'a
رَبُّكَ rabbuka
وَٱلۡمَلَكُ waAlmalaku
صَفࣰّا saffa
صَفࣰّا  saffa
٢٢
89:22 And comes your Lord and the Angels, rank, (upon) rank,
وَجِا۟یۤءَ wajiay'a
یَوۡمَىِٕذِۭ yawmaaidhi
بِجَهَنَّمَۚ bijahannama
یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ yawmaaidh
یَتَذَكَّرُ yatadhakkaru
ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ AlInsaanu
وَأَنَّىٰ waAnnaa
لَهُ lahu
ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ  Adhdhikraa
٢٣
89:23 And is brought, that Day, Hell. That Day will remember man, but how (will be) for him the remembrance?
یَقُولُ yaqulu
یَـٰلَیۡتَنِی yaalaytani
قَدَّمۡتُ qaddamtu
لِحَیَاتِی  lihayati
٢٤
89:24 He will say, "O I wish! I had sent forth for my life."
فَیَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ fayawmaaidh
لَّا lla
یُعَذِّبُ yu'adhdhibu
عَذَابَهُۥۤ 'adhabahu
أَحَدࣱ  Ahad
٢٥
89:25 So that Day not will punish, (as) His punishment anyone.
وَلَا wala
یُوثِقُ yuthiqu
وَثَاقَهُۥۤ wathaqahu
أَحَدࣱ  Ahad
٢٦
89:26 And not will bind (as) His binding anyone.
یَـٰۤأَیَّتُهَا yaayyatuha
ٱلنَّفۡسُ Annafsu
ٱلۡمُطۡمَىِٕنَّةُ  Almutmaainnahu
٢٧
89:27 "O soul! who is satisfied,
ٱرۡجِعِیۤ Irji'i
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
رَبِّكِ rabbiki
رَاضِیَةࣰ radiyah
مَّرۡضِیَّةࣰ  mmardiyyah
٢٨
89:28 Return to your Lord well pleased, and pleasing.
فَٱدۡخُلِی faIdkhuli
فِی fi
عِبَـٰدِی  'ibaadi
٢٩
89:29 So enter among My slaves,
وَٱدۡخُلِی waIdkhuli
جَنَّتِی  jannati
٣٠
89:30 And enter My Paradise."
