۞ إِذَا Idha
ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ Assamaa'u
ٱنشَقَّتۡ  Inshaqqat
١
84:1 When the sky is split asunder,
وَأَذِنَتۡ waAdhinat
لِرَبِّهَا lirabbiha
وَحُقَّتۡ  wahuqqat
٢
84:2 And has listened to its Lord and was obligated,
وَإِذَا waIdha
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ AlArdu
مُدَّتۡ  muddat
٣
84:3 And when the earth is spread,
وَأَلۡقَتۡ waAlqat
مَا ma
فِیهَا fiha
وَتَخَلَّتۡ  watakhallat
٤
84:4 And has cast out what (is) in it and becomes empty,
وَأَذِنَتۡ waAdhinat
لِرَبِّهَا lirabbiha
وَحُقَّتۡ  wahuqqat
٥
84:5 And has listened to its Lord and was obligated.
یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا yaayyuha
ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ AlInsaanu
إِنَّكَ Innaka
كَادِحٌ kadihun
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
رَبِّكَ rabbika
كَدۡحࣰا kadha
فَمُلَـٰقِیهِ  famulaaqihi
٦
84:6 O mankind! Indeed, you (are) laboring to your Lord (with) exertion and you (will) meet Him.
فَأَمَّا faAmma
مَنۡ man
أُوتِیَ Autiya
كِتَـٰبَهُۥ kitaabahu
بِیَمِینِهِۦ  biyaminihi
٧
84:7 Then as for (him) who is given his record in his right (hand),
فَسَوۡفَ fasawfa
یُحَاسَبُ yuhasabu
حِسَابࣰا hisaba
یَسِیرࣰا  yasira
٨
84:8 Then soon his account will be taken an account, easy,
وَیَنقَلِبُ wayanqalibu
إِلَىٰۤ Ilaa
أَهۡلِهِۦ Ahlihi
مَسۡرُورࣰا  masrura
٩
84:9 And he will return to his people happily.
وَأَمَّا waAmma
مَنۡ man
أُوتِیَ Autiya
كِتَـٰبَهُۥ kitaabahu
وَرَاۤءَ waraa'a
ظَهۡرِهِۦ  zahrihi
١٠
84:10 But as for (him) who is given his record behind his back,
فَسَوۡفَ fasawfa
یَدۡعُوا۟ yad'ua
ثُبُورࣰا  thubura
١١
84:11 Then soon he will call (for) destruction,
وَیَصۡلَىٰ wayaslaa
سَعِیرًا  sa'irana
١٢
84:12 And he will burn (in) a Blaze.
إِنَّهُۥ Innahu
كَانَ kana
فِیۤ fi
أَهۡلِهِۦ Ahlihi
مَسۡرُورًا  masrurana
١٣
84:13 Indeed, he had been among his people happy,
إِنَّهُۥ Innahu
ظَنَّ zanna
أَن An
لَّن llan
یَحُورَ  yahura
١٤
84:14 Indeed, he (had) thought that never he would return.
بَلَىٰۤۚ balaa
إِنَّ Inna
رَبَّهُۥ rabbahu
كَانَ kana
بِهِۦ bihi
بَصِیرࣰا  basira
١٥
84:15 Yes! Indeed, his Lord was of him All-Seer.
فَلَاۤ falaa
أُقۡسِمُ Auqsimu
بِٱلشَّفَقِ  biAshshafaqi
١٦
84:16 But nay! I swear by the twilight glow,
وَٱلَّیۡلِ waAllayli
وَمَا wama
وَسَقَ  wasaqa
١٧
84:17 And the night and what it envelops,
وَٱلۡقَمَرِ waAlqamari
إِذَا Idha
ٱتَّسَقَ  Ittasaqa
١٨
84:18 And the moon when it becomes full,
لَتَرۡكَبُنَّ latarkabunna
طَبَقًا tabaqana
عَن 'an
طَبَقࣲ  tabaq
١٩
84:19 You will surely embark (to) stage from stage.
فَمَا fama
لَهُمۡ lahum
لَا la
یُؤۡمِنُونَ  yuuminuna
٢٠
84:20 So what (is) for them not they believe,
وَإِذَا waIdha
قُرِئَ quriea
عَلَیۡهِمُ 'alayhimu
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ Alqur'anu
لَا la
یَ̅سۡ̅جُ̅دُ̅و̅نَ̅  ۩ yasjuduna

84:21 And when is recited to them the Quran, not they prostrate?
بَلِ bali
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
كَفَرُوا۟ kafarua
یُكَذِّبُونَ  yukadhdhibuna

84:22 Nay! Those who disbelieved deny,
وَٱللَّهُ waAllahu
أَعۡلَمُ A'lamu
بِمَا bima
یُوعُونَ  yu'una
٢٣
84:23 And Allah (is) most knowing of what they keep within themselves
فَبَشِّرۡهُم fabashshirhum
بِعَذَابٍ bi'adhabin
أَلِیمٍ  Alimin
٢٤
84:24 so give them tidings of a punishment painful,
إِلَّا Illa
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
ءَامَنُوا۟ 'amanua
وَعَمِلُوا۟ wa'amilua
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ Assaalihaati
لَهُمۡ lahum
أَجۡرٌ Ajrun
غَیۡرُ ghayru
مَمۡنُونِۭ  mamnuni
٢٥
84:25 Except those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them (is) a reward never ending.
