ٱلۡمُزَّمِّلُ  Almuzzammilu

73:1 O you who wraps himself!
قُمِ qumi
ٱلَّیۡلَ Allayla
إِلَّا Illa
قَلِیلࣰا  qalila
٢
73:2 Stand (in) the night, except a little,
نِّصۡفَهُۥۤ nnisfahu
أَوِ Awi
ٱنقُصۡ Inqus
مِنۡهُ minhu
قَلِیلًا  qalilana
٣
73:3 Half of it, or lessen from it a little,
أَوۡ Aw
زِدۡ zid
عَلَیۡهِ 'alayhi
وَرَتِّلِ warattili
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ Alqur'ana
تَرۡتِیلًا  tartilana
٤
73:4 Or add to it, and recite the Quran (with) measured rhythmic recitation.
إِنَّا Inna
سَنُلۡقِی sanulqi
عَلَیۡكَ 'alayka
قَوۡلࣰا qawla
ثَقِیلًا  thaqilana
٥
73:5 Indeed, We will cast upon you a Word heavy.
إِنَّ Inna
نَاشِئَةَ nashieaha
ٱلَّیۡلِ Allayli
هِیَ hiya
أَشَدُّ Ashaddu
وَطۡءࣰا wat'a
وَأَقۡوَمُ waAqwamu
قِیلًا  qilana
٦
73:6 Indeed, (the) rising (at) the night, it (is) very hard and most potent and more suitable (for) Word.
إِنَّ Inna
لَكَ laka
فِی fi
ٱلنَّهَارِ Annahari
سَبۡحࣰا sabha
طَوِیلࣰا  tawila
٧
73:7 Indeed, for you in the day (is) occupation prolonged.
وَٱذۡكُرِ waIdhkuri
ٱسۡمَ Isma
رَبِّكَ rabbika
وَتَبَتَّلۡ watabattal
إِلَیۡهِ Ilayhi
تَبۡتِیلࣰا  tabtila
٨
73:8 And remember (the) name (of) your Lord and devote yourself to Him (with) devotion.
رَّبُّ rrabbu
ٱلۡمَشۡرِقِ Almashriqi
وَٱلۡمَغۡرِبِ waAlmaghribi
لَاۤ laa
إِلَـٰهَ Ilaaha
إِلَّا Illa
هُوَ huwa
فَٱتَّخِذۡهُ faIttakhidhhu
وَكِیلࣰا  wakila
٩
73:9 (The) Lord (of) the east and the west; (there is) no god except Him, so take Him (as) Disposer of Affairs.
وَٱصۡبِرۡ waIsbir
عَلَىٰ 'alaa
مَا ma
یَقُولُونَ yaquluna
وَٱهۡجُرۡهُمۡ waIhjurhum
هَجۡرࣰا hajra
جَمِیلࣰا  jamila
١٠
73:10 And be patient over what they say, and avoid them, an avoidance gracious.
وَذَرۡنِی wadharni
وَٱلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ waAlmukadhdhibina
أُو۟لِی Auli
ٱلنَّعۡمَةِ Anna'mahi
وَمَهِّلۡهُمۡ wamahhilhum
قَلِیلًا  qalilana

73:11 And leave Me and the deniers, possessors (of) the ease, and allow them respite - a little.
إِنَّ Inna
لَدَیۡنَاۤ ladaynaa
أَنكَالࣰا Ankala
وَجَحِیمࣰا  wajahima
١٢
73:12 Indeed, with Us (are) shackles and burning fire,
وَطَعَامࣰا wata'ama
ذَا dha
غُصَّةࣲ ghussah
وَعَذَابًا wa'adhabana
أَلِیمࣰا  Alima
١٣
73:13 And food that chokes and a punishment painful.
یَوۡمَ yawma
تَرۡجُفُ tarjufu
ٱلۡأَرۡضُ AlArdu
وَٱلۡجِبَالُ waAljibalu
وَكَانَتِ wakanati
ٱلۡجِبَالُ Aljibalu
كَثِیبࣰا kathiba
مَّهِیلًا  mmahilana
١٤
73:14 (On the) Day will quake the earth and the mountains, and will become the mountains a heap of sand pouring down.
إِنَّاۤ Innaa
أَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ Arsalnaa
إِلَیۡكُمۡ Ilaykum
رَسُولࣰا rasula
شَـٰهِدًا shaahidana
عَلَیۡكُمۡ 'alaykum
كَمَاۤ kamaa
أَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ Arsalnaa
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
فِرۡعَوۡنَ fir'awna
رَسُولࣰا  rasula
١٥
73:15 Indeed, We [We] have sent to you a Messenger (as) a witness upon you, as We sent to Firaun a Messenger.
فَعَصَىٰ fa'asaa
فِرۡعَوۡنُ fir'awnu
ٱلرَّسُولَ Arrasula
فَأَخَذۡنَـٰهُ faAkhadhnaahu
أَخۡذࣰا Akhdha
وَبِیلࣰا  wabila
١٦
73:16 But disobeyed Firaun the Messenger, so We seized him (with) a seizure ruinous.
فَكَیۡفَ fakayfa
تَتَّقُونَ tattaquna
إِن In
كَفَرۡتُمۡ kafartum
یَوۡمࣰا yawma
یَجۡعَلُ yaj'alu
ٱلۡوِلۡدَ ٰنَ Alwildaana
شِیبًا  shibana
١٧
73:17 Then how will you guard yourselves, if you disbelieve, a Day (that) will make the children gray-haired?
ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ Assamaa'u
مُنفَطِرُۢ munfatiru
بِهِۦۚ bihi
كَانَ kana
وَعۡدُهُۥ wa'duhu
مَفۡعُولًا  maf'ulana
١٨
73:18 The heaven (will) break apart therefrom, is His Promise to be fulfilled.
إِنَّ Inna
هَـٰذِهِۦ haadhihi
تَذۡكِرَةࣱۖ tadhkirah
فَمَن faman
شَاۤءَ shaa'a
ٱتَّخَذَ Ittakhadha
إِلَىٰ Ilaa
رَبِّهِۦ rabbihi
سَبِیلًا  sabilana
١٩
73:19 Indeed, this (is) a Reminder, then whoever wills (let him) take to his Lord a way.
۞ إِنَّ Inna
رَبَّكَ rabbaka
یَعۡلَمُ ya'lamu
أَنَّكَ Annaka
تَقُومُ taqumu
أَدۡنَىٰ Adnaa
مِن min
ثُلُثَیِ thuluthayi
ٱلَّیۡلِ Allayli
وَنِصۡفَهُۥ wanisfahu
وَثُلُثَهُۥ wathuluthahu
وَطَاۤىِٕفَةࣱ wataaifah
مِّنَ mmina
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
مَعَكَۚ ma'aka
وَٱللَّهُ waAllahu
یُقَدِّرُ yuqaddiru
ٱلَّیۡلَ Allayla
وَٱلنَّهَارَۚ waAnnahara
عَلِمَ 'alima
أَن An
لَّن llan
تُحۡصُوهُ tuhsuhu
فَتَابَ fataba
عَلَیۡكُمۡۖ 'alaykum
فَٱقۡرَءُوا۟ faIqra'ua
مَا ma
تَیَسَّرَ tayassara
مِنَ mina
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ Alqur'ani
عَلِمَ 'alima
أَن An
سَیَكُونُ sayakunu
مِنكُم minkum
مَّرۡضَىٰ mmardaa
وَءَاخَرُونَ wa'akharuna
یَضۡرِبُونَ yadribuna
فِی fi
ٱلۡأَرۡضِ AlArdi
یَبۡتَغُونَ yabtaghuna
مِن min
فَضۡلِ fadli
ٱللَّهِ Allahi
وَءَاخَرُونَ wa'akharuna
یُقَـٰتِلُونَ yuqaatiluna
فِی fi
سَبِیلِ sabili
ٱللَّهِۖ Allahi
فَٱقۡرَءُوا۟ faIqra'ua
مَا ma
تَیَسَّرَ tayassara
مِنۡهُۚ minhu
وَأَقِیمُوا۟ waAqimua
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ Assalawaha
وَءَاتُوا۟ wa'atua
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ Azzakawaha
وَأَقۡرِضُوا۟ waAqridua
ٱللَّهَ Allaha
قَرۡضًا qardana
حَسَنࣰاۚ hasana
وَمَا wama
تُقَدِّمُوا۟ tuqaddimua
لِأَنفُسِكُم liAnfusikum
مِّنۡ mmin
خَیۡرࣲ khayr
تَجِدُوهُ tajiduhu
عِندَ 'inda
ٱللَّهِ Allahi
هُوَ huwa
خَیۡرࣰا khayra
وَأَعۡظَمَ waA'zama
أَجۡرࣰاۚ Ajra
وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُوا۟ waIstaghfirua
ٱللَّهَۖ Allaha
إِنَّ Inna
ٱللَّهَ Allaha
غَفُورࣱ ghafur
رَّحِیمُۢ  rrahimu
٢٠
73:20 Indeed, your Lord knows that you stand (a little) less than two-thirds (of) the night, and half of it and a third of it and (so do) a group of those who (are) with you. And Allah determines the night and the day. He knows that not you count it, so He has turned to you, so recite what is easy of the Quran. He knows that there will be among you sick and others traveling in the land seeking of (the) Bounty (of) Allah, and others fighting in (the) way (of) Allah. So recite what is easy of it, and establish the prayer and give the zakah and loan Allah a loan goodly. And whatever you send forth for yourselves of good, you will find it with Allah. It (will be) better and greater (in) reward. And seek forgiveness (of) Allah. Indeed, Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
