Surah Al-A'laa • Quran 87

۞ سَبِّحِ sabbihi
ٱسۡمَ Isma
رَبِّكَ rabbika
ٱلۡأَعۡلَى  AlA'laa
١
87:1 Glorify (the) name (of) your Lord, the Most High,
ٱلَّذِی Alladhi
خَلَقَ khalaqa
فَسَوَّىٰ  fasawwaa
٢
87:2 The One Who created, then proportioned,
وَٱلَّذِی waAlladhi
قَدَّرَ qaddara
فَهَدَىٰ  fahadaa
٣
87:3 And the One Who measured then guided,
وَٱلَّذِیۤ waAlladhi
أَخۡرَجَ Akhraja
ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ  Almar'aa
٤
87:4 And the One Who brings forth the pasture,
فَجَعَلَهُۥ faja'alahu
غُثَاۤءً ghuthaa'an
أَحۡوَىٰ  Ahwaa
٥
87:5 And then makes it stubble, dark.
سَنُقۡرِئُكَ sanuqrieuka
فَلَا fala
تَنسَىٰۤ  tansaa
٦
87:6 We will make you recite so not you will forget,
إِلَّا Illa
مَا ma
شَاۤءَ shaa'a
ٱللَّهُۚ Allahu
إِنَّهُۥ Innahu
یَعۡلَمُ ya'lamu
ٱلۡجَهۡرَ Aljahra
وَمَا wama
یَخۡفَىٰ  yakhfaa
٧
87:7 Except what wills Allah Indeed, He knows the manifest and what is hidden.
وَنُیَسِّرُكَ wanuyassiruka
لِلۡیُسۡرَىٰ  lilyusraa
٨
87:8 And We will ease you to the ease.
فَذَكِّرۡ fadhakkir
إِن In
نَّفَعَتِ nnafa'ati
ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ  Adhdhikraa
٩
87:9 So remind, if benefits the reminder.
سَیَذَّكَّرُ sayadhdhakkaru
مَن man
یَخۡشَىٰ  yakhshaa
١٠
87:10 He will pay heed - (one) who fears (Allah).
وَیَتَجَنَّبُهَا wayatajannabuha
ٱلۡأَشۡقَى  AlAshqaa
١١
87:11 And will avoid it the wretched one.
ٱلَّذِی Alladhi
یَصۡلَى yaslaa
ٱلنَّارَ Annara
ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ  Alkubraa
١٢
87:12 The one who will burn (in) the Fire [the] great.
ثُمَّ thumma
لَا la
یَمُوتُ yamutu
فِیهَا fiha
وَلَا wala
یَحۡیَىٰ  yahyaa
١٣
87:13 Then not he will die therein and not will live.
قَدۡ qad
أَفۡلَحَ Aflaha
مَن man
تَزَكَّىٰ  tazakkaa
١٤
87:14 Certainly, has succeeded (one) who purifies (himself),
وَذَكَرَ wadhakara
ٱسۡمَ Isma
رَبِّهِۦ rabbihi
فَصَلَّىٰ  fasallaa
١٥
87:15 And remembers (the) name (of) his Lord and prays.
بَلۡ bal
تُؤۡثِرُونَ tuuthiruna
ٱلۡحَیَوٰةَ Alhayawaha
ٱلدُّنۡیَا  Addunya
١٦
87:16 Nay! You prefer the life (of) the world,
وَٱلۡءَاخِرَةُ waAl'akhirahu
خَیۡرࣱ khayr
وَأَبۡقَىٰۤ  waAbqaa
١٧
87:17 While the Hereafter (is) better and everlasting.
إِنَّ Inna
هَـٰذَا haadha
لَفِی lafi
ٱلصُّحُفِ Assuhufi
ٱلۡأُولَىٰ  AlAulaa
١٨
87:18 Indeed, this surely (is) in the Scriptures [the] former,
صُحُفِ suhufi
إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ Ibraahima
وَمُوسَىٰ  wamusaa
١٩
87:19 (The) Scriptures (of) Ibrahim and Musa.
