Surah Al-Burooj • Quran 85

وَٱلسَّمَاۤءِ waAssamaa'i
ذَاتِ dhati
ٱلۡبُرُوجِ  Alburuji
١
85:1 By the sky, containing the constellations,
وَٱلۡیَوۡمِ waAlyawmi
ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ  Almaw'udi
٢
85:2 And the Day Promised,
وَشَاهِدࣲ washahid
وَمَشۡهُودࣲ  wamashhud
٣
85:3 And (the) witness and what is witnessed,
قُتِلَ qutila
أَصۡحَـٰبُ Ashaabu
ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ  AlAukhdudi
٤
85:4 Destroyed were (the) companions (of) the pit,
ٱلنَّارِ Annari
ذَاتِ dhati
ٱلۡوَقُودِ  Alwaqudi
٥
85:5 (Of) the fire full (of) the fuel,
إِذۡ Idh
هُمۡ hum
عَلَیۡهَا 'alayha
قُعُودࣱ  qu'ud
٦
85:6 When they by it (were) sitting,
وَهُمۡ wahum
عَلَىٰ 'alaa
مَا ma
یَفۡعَلُونَ yaf'aluna
بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ biAlmuuminina
شُهُودࣱ  shuhud
٧
85:7 And they over what they were doing to the believers witnesses.
وَمَا wama
نَقَمُوا۟ naqamua
مِنۡهُمۡ minhum
إِلَّاۤ Illaa
أَن An
یُؤۡمِنُوا۟ yuuminua
بِٱللَّهِ biAllahi
ٱلۡعَزِیزِ Al'azizi
ٱلۡحَمِیدِ  Alhamidi
٨
85:8 And not they resented [of] them except that they believed in Allah the All-Mighty, the Praiseworthy,
ٱلَّذِی Alladhi
لَهُۥ lahu
مُلۡكُ mulku
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ Assamaawaati
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ waAlArdi
وَٱللَّهُ waAllahu
عَلَىٰ 'alaa
كُلِّ kulli
شَیۡءࣲ shay'
شَهِیدٌ  shahidun
٩
85:9 The One Who, for Him (is) the dominion (of) the heavens and the earth; and Allah on every thing (is) a Witness.
إِنَّ Inna
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
فَتَنُوا۟ fatanua
ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ Almuuminina
وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِ waAlmuuminaati
ثُمَّ thumma
لَمۡ lam
یَتُوبُوا۟ yatubua
فَلَهُمۡ falahum
عَذَابُ 'adhabu
جَهَنَّمَ jahannama
وَلَهُمۡ walahum
عَذَابُ 'adhabu
ٱلۡحَرِیقِ  Alhariqi
١٠
85:10 Indeed, those who persecuted the believing men and the believing women, then not they repented, then for them (is the) punishment (of) Hell and for them (is the) punishment (of) the Burning Fire.
إِنَّ Inna
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
ءَامَنُوا۟ 'amanua
وَعَمِلُوا۟ wa'amilua
ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ Assaalihaati
لَهُمۡ lahum
جَنَّـٰتࣱ jannaat
تَجۡرِی tajri
مِن min
تَحۡتِهَا tahtiha
ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُۚ AlAnhaaru
ذَ ٰلِكَ dhaalika
ٱلۡفَوۡزُ Alfawzu
ٱلۡكَبِیرُ  Alkabiru

85:11 Indeed, those who believe and do the righteous deeds, for them (will be) Gardens flow from underneath it the rivers. That (is) the success the great.
إِنَّ Inna
بَطۡشَ batsha
رَبِّكَ rabbika
لَشَدِیدٌ  lashadidun
١٢
85:12 Indeed, (the) Grip (of) your Lord (is) surely strong.
إِنَّهُۥ Innahu
هُوَ huwa
یُبۡدِئُ yubdieu
وَیُعِیدُ  wayu'idu
١٣
85:13 Indeed He, He originates and repeats,
وَهُوَ wahuwa
ٱلۡغَفُورُ Alghafuru
ٱلۡوَدُودُ  Alwadudu
١٤
85:14 And He (is) the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Loving,
ذُو dhu
ٱلۡعَرۡشِ Al'arshi
ٱلۡمَجِیدُ  Almajidu
١٥
85:15 Owner (of) the Throne the Glorious,
فَعَّالࣱ fa''al
لِّمَا llima
یُرِیدُ  yuridu
١٦
85:16 Doer of what He intends.
هَلۡ hal
أَتَىٰكَ Ataaka
حَدِیثُ hadithu
ٱلۡجُنُودِ  Aljunudi
١٧
85:17 Has come to you (the) story (of) the hosts,
فِرۡعَوۡنَ fir'awna
وَثَمُودَ  wathamuda
١٨
85:18 Firaun and Thamud?
بَلِ bali
ٱلَّذِینَ Alladhina
كَفَرُوا۟ kafarua
فِی fi
تَكۡذِیبࣲ  takdhib
١٩
85:19 Nay! Those who disbelieve (are) in denial.
وَٱللَّهُ waAllahu
مِن min
وَرَاۤىِٕهِم waraaihim
مُّحِیطُۢ  mmuhitu
٢٠
85:20 But Allah from behind them, encompasses.
بَلۡ bal
هُوَ huwa
قُرۡءَانࣱ qur'an
مَّجِیدࣱ  mmajid
٢١
85:21 Nay! It (is) a Quran Glorious,
فِی fi
لَوۡحࣲ lawh
مَّحۡفُوظِۭ  mmahfuzi
٢٢
85:22 In a Tablet, Guarded.
