وَٱلسَّمَاۤءِ waAssamaa'i
وَٱلطَّارِقِ  waAttariqi

86:1 By the sky and the night comer,
وَمَاۤ wamaa
أَدۡرَىٰكَ Adraaka
مَا ma
ٱلطَّارِقُ  Attariqu
٢
86:2 And what can make you know what the night comer (is)?
ٱلنَّجۡمُ Annajmu
ٱلثَّاقِبُ  Aththaqibu
٣
86:3 (It is) the star, the piercing!
إِن In
كُلُّ kullu
نَفۡسࣲ nafs
لَّمَّا llamma
عَلَیۡهَا 'alayha
حَافِظࣱ  hafiz
٤
86:4 Not (is) every soul but over it (is) a protector.
فَلۡیَنظُرِ falyanzuri
ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ AlInsaanu
مِمَّ mimma
خُلِقَ  khuliqa
٥
86:5 So let see man from what he is created.
خُلِقَ khuliqa
مِن min
مَّاۤءࣲ mmaa'
دَافِقࣲ  dafiq
٦
86:6 He is created from a water, ejected,
یَخۡرُجُ yakhruju
مِنۢ min
بَیۡنِ bayni
ٱلصُّلۡبِ Assulbi
وَٱلتَّرَاۤىِٕبِ  waAttaraaibi
٧
86:7 Coming forth from between the backbone and the ribs.
إِنَّهُۥ Innahu
عَلَىٰ 'alaa
رَجۡعِهِۦ raj'ihi
لَقَادِرࣱ  laqadir
٨
86:8 Indeed, He to return him (is) Able.
یَوۡمَ yawma
تُبۡلَى tublaa
ٱلسَّرَاۤىِٕرُ  Assaraairu
٩
86:9 (The) Day will be tested the secrets,
فَمَا fama
لَهُۥ lahu
مِن min
قُوَّةࣲ quwwah
وَلَا wala
نَاصِرࣲ  nasir
١٠
86:10 Then not (is) for him any power and not any helper.
وَٱلسَّمَاۤءِ waAssamaa'i
ذَاتِ dhati
ٱلرَّجۡعِ  Arraj'i
١١
86:11 By the sky which returns,
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ waAlArdi
ذَاتِ dhati
ٱلصَّدۡعِ  Assad'i
١٢
86:12 And the earth which cracks open,
إِنَّهُۥ Innahu
لَقَوۡلࣱ laqawl
فَصۡلࣱ  fasl
١٣
86:13 Indeed, it (is) surely a Word decisive,
وَمَا wama
هُوَ huwa
بِٱلۡهَزۡلِ  biAlhazli
١٤
86:14 And not it (is) for amusement.
إِنَّهُمۡ Innahum
یَكِیدُونَ yakiduna
كَیۡدࣰا  kayda
١٥
86:15 Indeed, they are plotting a plot,
وَأَكِیدُ waAkidu
كَیۡدࣰا  kayda
١٦
86:16 But I am panning a plan.
فَمَهِّلِ famahhili
ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ Alkaafirina
أَمۡهِلۡهُمۡ Amhilhum
رُوَیۡدَۢا  ruwayda
١٧
86:17 So give respite (to) the disbelievers. Give respite to them - little.
