Will you erect a monument on every hill

You erect monuments on every hill in vanity.

You construct monuments on every hill in vain

Build you a sign on every high hill to amuse?

You build on every height monuments of vanity

Build ye on every eminence a landmark in vanity

Do ye build on every height a landmark in sport

Do you futilely build a sign on every prominence

Do you build on every height a landmark in sport,

Do you frivolously build on every high place a sign

Do you build monuments on every high place in vanity

"Do you build useless monuments on every mountai

What, you build a monument on every hill merely for fu

What, do you build on every prominence a sign, sporting

Do you build a sign on every high place to fool around?

What! build ye landmarks on all heights in mere pastime

Build ye on every high place a monument for vain delight

Do you build on every height a monument? You (only) sport

Do you build a monument on every height for vanity's sake

You build monuments on every hilltop to please yourselves,

"You build on every hill a mansion for vanity's sake.

Do you build landmark on every high palace to play for fun?

Do you build over each high place a sign to amuse yourselves

Do you build a tower on every hill just to amuse yourselves,

"Do you build on every height a monument of vain delight

“Do you build mansions on every hilltop and amuse yourselves?”

Do you build a sign on every height to laugh at the wayfarers?

Do you construct on every elevation a sign amusing yourselves

Do you build on every hill a lofty fortress for vain pleasure?

Do you build on every hill a lofty fortress for vain pleasure?

Do you pointlessly construct a marker on every elevated place?

Do you construct on every elevation a sign, amusing yourselves

Are you building on every height (or road) a verse, to mess up?

Do you build on every height a monument? Vain is it that you do

Do you build a tower on every hilltop, just to amuse yourselves,

Do you erect on every height a monument, having no sound purpose

Do ye build a land-mark on every high place, to divert yourselves

“Do you build a symbol on every high place to amuse yourselves?

Do you build a monument on every high place, without any purpose?

How can you be so vain that you set up monuments on every high place
