Quran 10 : 83

Few of his¹ people believed in Moses, for they feared the persecution of Pharaoh and his nobles. Surely Pharaoh was a tyrant in the land, a man of rampant wickedness

None believed with Moses except a few of his people, while fearing the tyranny of Pharaoh and his elders. Surely, Pharaoh was much too arrogant on earth, and a real tyrant.

But no one believed in Moses except a few of his own people, for fear that Pharaoh and their leaders would persecute them: Pharaoh was domineering in the land and prone to excess

So none believed Moses except a few of his nation because they feared that Pharaoh and their Council would persecute them. Pharaoh was mighty in theland, and one of the evildoers

But none believed in Moses except some children of his people, for fear that Pharaoh and his chiefs would persecute them. Pharaoh was high and mighty in the land. He was a tyrant

Only a minority from his own people believed in Moses, fearing Pharaoh’s tyranny and his priests’ retribution. Pharaoh was arrogant in the land, and he was one of the transgressors.

And nobody believed Musa (Moses) except descendants of his people, out of fear that Pharaoh and their leaders would harm them, for Pharaoh exalted on earth and was amongst the wasteful.

No one had iman in Musa except for a few of his people out of fear that Pharaoh, and the elders, would persecute them. Pharaoh was high and mighty in the land. He was one of the profligate.

So none believed in Moses, save a seed of his people, for fear of Pharaoh and their Council, that they would persecute them; and Pharaoh was high in the land, and he was one of the prodigals

None but a few youths of Moses` people accepted him, fearing that Pharaoh and their own chiefs would persecute them. Indeed Pharaoh was mighty in the land, he was among those who exceed all limits.

No one believed Moses among his people, except a group of youth, for fear of Pharaoh and his leaders... Indeed, Pharaoh was an oppressive sovereign upon the earth! Indeed, he was of the squanderers!

But none believed in Moses, save a section of his own people, through fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs, lest he should afflict them. Verily, Pharaoh was a tyrant in the land, and verily, he was wanton

But, on account of the fear of Pharaoh and their chiefs persecuting them, none believed in Moses except a few of his people. And Pharaoh was truly high-handed in the land; and surely he was extravagant

Only a handful of Moses' people declared their faith in him, [while others held back] for fear that Pharaoh would persecute them and their own people. Pharaoh was mighty on earth and prone to excesses.

But none believed in Moses, save a race of his own people, through fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs; lest he should afflict them, for verily, Pharaoh was lofty in the earth, and verily, he was extravagant

Nobody, except a few of his people believed in Musa. (Nonetheless) they feared harassment by the Pharaoh and his people! In the land, the Pharaoh was overbearingly powerful; he was surely guilty of excess

But none believed Moses, except offspring of his people, for fear of Pharaoh and their chiefs; lest he should afflict them. And indeed, Pharaoh was high in the earth, and indeed, he was of the extravagant.

And none believed on Moses but a race among his own people, through fear of Pharaoh and his nobles, lest he should afflict them: For of a truth mighty was Pharaoh in the land, and one who committed excesses

No one believed in Moses except some young people of his own tribe who were at the same time very afraid of the persecution of the Pharaoh and his people. The Pharaoh was certainly a tyrant and a transgressor

Then none believed in Musa save a posterity of his people, through fear of Fir'awn and their chiefs, lest he should persecute them; and verily Fir'awn was lofty in the land,and verily he was of the extravagant

Only some offspring among his own folk believed in Moses because of fear for Pharaoh and his councilors, lest he might put them to some test. Pharaoh was so haughty on earth and besides he was a dissipated man.

Then, except some youths of his people, no one believed in Musa for the fear of Pharaoh and his group, lest he should persecute them. Pharaoh was high-handed in the land and he was of those who crossed all limits

Only a few of the Egyptians, some youngsters, could proclaim belief in Moses because of the fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs. Pharaoh was indeed a great tyrant on earth. He used to cross all bounds of human behavior

What a shame that none believed in Moses except a few youths of his own people. They were afraid of Pharaoh and his administrators’ vindication. Surely, Pharaoh was an arrogant tyrant and the most extravagant

But none believed in Moses, save some progeny from among his people, for fear of Pharaoh and his notables, that he would oppress them; for truly Pharaoh was exalted in the land, and he was indeed among the prodigal

No one believed in Musa – fearing that Pharaoh and his courtiers will persecute them – except some young people. Pharaoh behaved high-handedly throughout the land, and he was one of those who went beyond the bounds.

But no one believed in Moses except a few youths of his people, while fearing that Pharaoh and their own chiefs might persecute them. And certainly Pharaoh was a tyrant in the land, and he was truly a transgressor.

But none of them put faith in Moses except some youths among his people who were nonetheless afraid lest the Pharaoh and his nobles should persecute them; for the Pharaoh was mighty in the land, and guilty of excesses

But none believed in Moses except for some scions of his people because of fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs, lest they would persecute them. Indeed, Pharaoh was imperious in the land; and he was truly of the prodigals.

But none believed in Moses from his people except some from their descendants, because of their fear from Pharaoh and his commanders that he would persecute them. Pharaoh was high in the land, and he was of the tyrants.

But none trusted Moses, save some scions of his people, (and they were) in fear of Pharaoh and their chiefs, that he would persecute them. Lo! Pharaoh was verily a tyrant in the land, and lo! he verily was of the wanton

Only some offspring among his own folk believed in Moses because of fear for Pharaoh and his councilors, lest he might put them to some prosecution. Pharaoh was so haughty on earth and besides he was a transgressor man.

No one believed Moses, except some children of his people, because they feared that Pharaoh and his chiefs would persecute them. Certainly, Pharaoh was powerful on the earth, and he certainly transgressed all boundaries.

But none believed Musa except (the) offspring among his people for fear of Firaun and their chiefs lest they persecute them And indeed Firaun (was) a tyrant in the earth and indeed, he (was) of the ones who commit excesses

But none believed in Moses except offspring of his people, because of the fear of Pharaoh and his nomarchs, lest they should persecute them, and certainly, Pharaoh was mighty on the earth, and one who transgressed all bounds

So none accepted faith in Moosa, except a few descendants of his people, fearing Firaun and his court members, that they would force them to revert; and indeed Firaun was a rebel in the land; and indeed he crossed the limits

So, none believed in Moses except an offspring among his kinfolk, for fear from Pharaoh and his chieftains that he would infatuate them. And surely Pharaoh was haughty on the earth. And He was among the extravagant persons.

And none obeyed Moses save some youths from among his people, because of the fear of pharaoh and their chiefs, lest he should persecute them. And surely Pharaoh was a tyrant in the land and surely he was of the transgressors

But none believed in Moses except some children of his people, because of the fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs, lest they should persecute them; and certainly Pharaoh was mighty on the earth and one who transgressed all bounds

But none save a few youths declared their faith in Moses, [while others held back] for fear that Pharaoh and his nobles would persecute them. Pharaoh was high and mighty in the land. And one who transgressed all bounds

So none believed in Musa except the descendants of his people due to the fear of Firawn and their leaders, lest he should persecute them, and Firawn was certainly dominating in the earth and he was certainly of the extravagant.

But none believed in ‘Moses’, except for some scions of his people, because of fear of ‘Pharaoh’ and his chiefs, lest they would persecute them. Indeed, ‘Pharaoh’ was arrogantly domineering. Indeed, He was one of the prodigals.

But none believed in Musa except the offspring of his people, on account of the fear of Firon and their chiefs, lest he should persecute them; and most surely Firon was lofty in the land; and most surely he was of the extravagant

And there believed not any on Moses, except a generation of his people, for fear of Pharaoh and of his princes, lest he should afflict them. And Pharaoh was lifted up with pride in the earth, and was surely one of the transgressors

But none believed in Moses except some youths from among his people, for the fear of Pharaoh and his elite that he would persecute them. For Pharaoh was indeed a tyrant in the land, and indeed he was an unrestrained [despot]

Then none believed Muse but few from the seed of his people fearing from Firawn and his courtiers lest they may compel them to fall back '(from Din). And no doubt, Firawn was high headed in the land, and no doubt he crossed the limit.

But no one believed Moses, except [some] youths among his people, for fear of Pharaoh and his establishment that they would persecute them. And indeed, Pharaoh was haughty within the land, and indeed, he was of the transgressor

But none believed in Moses except the offspring of his people, because of the fear of Pharaoh and his chiefs, lest he should persecute them; and surely, Pharaoh was an arrogant tyrant on the earth, he was indeed one of the transgressors.

But none believed Moses but the offspring of his folk because of the fear of Pharaoh and his Council that he persecute them. And, truly, Pharaoh was one who exalted himself on the earth. And he was, truly, of the ones who are excessive.

None professed their faith in Moses except a small band from among his people out of fear for Pharaoh and his chieftains lest they persecute them. Lo! Pharaoh indeed had become high in the earth and he indeed was of those who are exceedingly abusive.

No one believed in Moses except descendants of his people (tribe of Levi), because of fear of Pharaoh and their assembly (or their own leaders) that they persecute them. Indeed, Pharaoh was dominant/powerful on the earth and he was among the excessive ones.

But none save a few of his people declared their faith in Moses, [while others held back] for fear of Pharaoh and their great ones, lest they persecute them: for, verily, Pharaoh was mighty on earth and was, verily, of those who are given to excesses

But no one believed in Musa (Moses) except some offspring of his people, because of the fear of men, Firon (Pharaoh) and his chiefs, in case they should punish them; And Firon (Pharaoh) was really arrogant and cruel on the earth and one who exceeded all limits

So then none believed in Moses — except for the progeny of his own people — out of fear of Pharaoh and their nobles, lest he should persecute them. And indeed did Pharaoh have some power on the earth and indeed he was of those who committed excesses

So did not believe in Moses except descendants from his nation on fear from Pharaoh and their nobles/groups/assembly that he (Pharaoh) tortures them , and that Pharaoh (is) high and mighty (E) in the earth/planet Earth, and that he (is) from (E) the spoilers/exceeders of the limit

None, however, but a few youths from among his people accepted Moses (while others held back), for fear of Pharaoh and their chiefs lest he should persecute them. And surely Pharaoh was ever a tyrant in the land and truthfully he was of those who committed excesses (and high-handedness)

So, in no way did (anyone) believe Musa, (Moses) except (some) offspring of his people, with fear of Firaawn (Pharaoh) and their chiefs, that they would tempt them; (i.e., persecute them of force them into disbelief) and surely Firaawn was indeed exalted in the land, and surely he was indeed of the extravagant

None save a young generation among his people believed in Moses for (they were in) fear that the Pharaoh and the chiefs among them (who collaborated with the Pharaoh in order not to lose their wealth) would subject them to persecutions. The Pharaoh was indeed a haughty tyrant in the land and he was indeed one of those who commit excesses

With the exception of a few youth from his people, (none) believed in Musa (Moses), owing to the fear of Pharaoh and their (tribal) chiefs and (nobles), lest they should afflict them with (some) misery. And Pharaoh was indeed a tyrant in the land (of Egypt) and a transgressor. And certainly, he was amongst those who exceed limits (in oppression)

But did not Believe in Musa (anyone) except the younger generation of his nation because of the fear of Firaun and their chiefs, lest they should put them to persecution and torture; and verily, Firaun behaved as an arrogant tyrant on the earth, and indeed he was surely of the Musrifun (those who breahead of state the limits, indulge in transgression)

But none believed in Moosa (Moses) except the offspring of his people, because of the fear of Firaun (Pharaoh) and his chiefs, lest they should persecute them; and verily, Firaun (Pharaoh) was arrogant tyrant on the earth, he was indeed one of the Musrifoon (polytheists, sinners and transgressors, those who give up the truth and follow the evil, and commit all kinds of great sins)
