"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, enjoined fifty prayers upon my Ummah, and I came back with that until I passed by Musa, peace be upon him, who said: 'What has your Lord enjoined upon your Ummah?' I said: 'He has enjoined fifty prayers on them.' Musa said to me: 'Go back to your Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, for your Ummah will not be able to do that.' So I went back to my Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, and He reduced a portion of it. Then I came back to Musa and told him, and he said: 'Go back to you Lord, for your Ummah will not be able to do that.' So I went back to my Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, and He said: 'They are five (prayers) but they are fifty (in reward), and the Word that comes from Me cannot be changed.' I came back to Musa and he said: 'Go back to your Lord.' I said: 'I feel too shy before my Lord, the Mighty and Sublime.'"
See Surah Qaf 50:29.
Sunan an-Nasa'i Book 5, Hadith 2
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah created Adam, making him 60 cubits tall. When He created him, He said to
him, "Go and greet that group of angels, and listen to their reply, for it will be your greeting
(salutation) and the greeting (salutations of your offspring." So, Adam said (to the angels), As-Salamu
Alaikum (i.e. Peace be upon you). The angels said, "As-salamu Alaika wa Rahmatu-l-lahi" (i.e. Peace
and Allah's Mercy be upon you). Thus the angels added to Adam's salutation the expression, 'Wa
Rahmatu-l-lahi,' Any person who will enter Paradise will resemble Adam (in appearance and figure).
People have been decreasing in stature since Adam's creation.
Sahih al-Bukhari Book 60, Hadith 1
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar
used to pay the zakat al-fitr for those slaves of his that were at
Wadi'l-Qura and Khaybar.
Yahya related to me that Malik said,
"The best that I have heard about the zakat al-fitr is that a man has
to pay for every person that he is responsible for supporting and whom
he must support. He has to pay forall his mukatabs, his mudabbars, and
his ordinary slaves, whether they are present or absent, as long as
they are muslim, and whether or not they are fortrade. However, he
does not have to pay zakat on any of them that are not muslim."
Malik said, concerning a runaway slave, "I think that his master
should pay the zakat fo rhim whether or not he knows where he is, if
it has not been long since the slave ran away and his master hopes
that he is still alive and will return. If it has been a long time
since he ran away and his master has despaired of him returning then I
do not think that he should pay zakat for him.'
Malik said,
"The zakat al-fitr has to be paid by people living in the desert (i.e.
nomadic people) just as it has to be paid by people living in villages
(i.e. settled people), because the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless
him and grant him peace, made the zakat al-fitr at the end of Ramadan
obligatory on every muslim, whether freeman or slave, male or female."
Muwatta Malik Book 17, Hadith 56
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When an adulterer commits illegal sexual intercourse, then he is not a believer at
the time, he is doing it, and when a drinker of an alcoholic liquor drinks it, then he is not a believer at
the time of drinking it, and when a thief steals, then he is not a believer at the time of stealing, and
when a robber robs, and the people look at him, then he is not a believer at the time of doing robbery.
Sahih al-Bukhari Book 46, Hadith 36
He who alleviates the suffering of a brother out of the sufferings of the world, Allah would alleviate his suffering from the sufferings of the Day of Resurrection, and he who finds relief for one who is hard-pressed, Allah would make things easy for him in the Hereafter, and he who conceals (the faults) of a Muslim, Allah would conceal his faults in the world and in the Hereafter. Allah is at the back of a servant so long as the servant is at the back of his brother, and he who treads the path in search of knowledge, Allah would make that path easy, leading to Paradise for him and those persons who assemble in the house among the houses of Allah (mosques) and recite the Book of Allah and they learn and teach the Quran (among themselves) there would descend upon them tranquility and mercy would cover them and the angels would surround them and Allah mentions them in the presence of those near Him, and he who is slow-paced in doing good deeds, his (high) lineage does not make him go ahead.
