Quran 7 : 94

Whenever I sent a prophet to a nation, I tried them in hardship and sufferings so that they humble themselves

And We sent not a Prophet to a place but We seized its people with adversity and distress so that they became compliant

And We did not send any prophet to any town unless We took its resident in hardship and distress, so they may be humble.

Whenever we sent a prophet to any community, we afflicted its people with adversity and hardship, that they may implore.

We did not send any prophet to a town, but We seized its people with hardship and suffering, so that they may turn humble

We have sent no Prophet to any city but that We seized its people with misery and hardship, that haply they might be humble

Never have We sent a Prophet to a place without trying its people with adversity and hardship that they may humble themselves

And We have not sent to a town any prophet, but We seized its people with adversity and calamity, so that they may grow humble.

And not We sent in a city any Prophet except We seized its people with adversity and hardship so that they may (become) humble

And We did not send a prophet to a town but We seized its people with distress and affliction that they might humble themselves

Whenever We sent a prophet to a town, We took up its people in suffering and adversity, in order that they might learn humility

Whenever We sent a prophet to a town, We took its people into suffering and adversity in order that they might learn humility.

Whenever We sent a prophet to a city, We afflicted its people with trials and tribulations so that they might humble themselves.

We sent no prophet to a town but that We seized its people with misfortune and hardship, that haply they would humble themselves

We did not send any prophet to any town but We afflicted its people with misery and adversity, so that they may humble themselves

There is not a region to which We sent a prophet and did not inflict upon its people adversity and hardship so that they may submit

And never did We send any Prophet to a dwelling but We seized its people with hardship and adversity so that they may become humble

And We did not send a (single) prophet to any city but We seized its people with distress and harm that they may humble themselves.

And We do not send a prophet to any town, except afterwards We afflict its people with adversity and hardship that they may implore.

Whenever We sent a messenger to a place, We raised up its people in suffering and adversity, in order that they might learn humility

And whenever We sent a prophet to a city We afflicted its people with calamities and misfortunes so that they might abase themselves

And We sent no prophet unto any township but We did afflict its folk with tribulation and adversity that haply they might grow humble

We have never sent a Prophet to any city without seizing its people with hardship and distress so that hopefully they would be humble.

Nor did we ever send a prophet to any city without afflicting its people with adversity and trouble, that haply they might humble them

Never did We send a Prophet to any town but We did afflict its people with adversity and hardship so that they may humble themselves.

And We have not sent unto a city any prophet except We seized its people with trouble and hardship, that perhaps they might be humble;

And never did We send a Prophet to any town but We did seize its people with adversity and suffering, that they might humble themselves

Never did We send a ‘Prophet’ to any town but We did afflict its people with adversity and hardship so that they may humble themselves.

And We have not sent any prophet in any town but We seized the people thereof with adversity and suffering that anyhow they might lament.

And We sent not any Prophet to a town, but We took its people with tribulation and desolation so that perhaps they will lower themselves.

We haven’t sent a single prophet to any community without initially putting its inhabitants through suffering and hardship to humble them

And We never sent a prophet to a town without afflicting its inhabitants with adversity and hardship so that they would humble themselves.

And We did not send a prophet in a town but We overtook its people with distress and affliction in order that they might humble themselves

We sent no Prophet to a village but seized its inhabitants with misfortune and adversity in order that they might be humble in supplication

We have never sent a prophet into any town unless We [first] seized its people with suffering and hardship, so that they might he humbled

We have never sent a prophet to any community without first sending misfortune and hardship to its people so that they might humble themselves.

We have not sent unto a city any prophet except we overtook the people thereof with trouble and distress, that haply they might humble themselves

To every town that We sent a Prophet, We tested its inhabitants through distress and adversity so that perhaps they would submit themselves to Us

We have never sent a prophet into any town unless We [first] seized its people with suffering and hardship, so that they might he humbled

And We did not send among a prophet in a village except We took its inhabitants with the adversity and the bane, perhaps they may be supplicating.

And We sent not a prophet to any township but We laid hold of the people thereof with tribulation and distress that haply they may humble themselves

AND NEVER YET have We sent a prophet unto any community without trying its people with misfortune and hardship, so that they might humble themselves

And whenever We sent a prophet to a town (and they rejected him,) We helped its people in suffering and misfortune, so that they might learn humility

Whenever We sent a prophet to a town, We afflicted its people with suffering and adversity, so that they might humble themselves [before God]

Whenever We sent a prophet into any town, We inflicted its residents with suffering and hardship. Perhaps they would adopt humility (and be unpretentious)

We sent no Prophet to a community without Our Law of Requital trying them with adversity and tribulation for their wrongdoings, so that they become humble

Whenever We sent a prophet to a society, We afflicted its ˹disbelieving˺ people with suffering and adversity, so perhaps they would be humbled.

We did not send a prophet to any town without visiting its people with stress and distress so that they might entreat [for Allah’s forgiveness]

And We sent not in a township any prophet except that We seized its people with the affliction and the adversity so that they may plead unto Allah clamorously.

And in no way have We sent any Prophet into a town except that We took its population with misery and tribulation that possibly they would earnestly supplicate (Us)

And We sent to no city a prophet [who was denied] except that We seized its people with poverty and hardship that they might humble themselves [to Allah ]

Whenever We sent a prophet to a town, We afflicted its [disbelieving] people with suffering and hardships, so that they might humble themselves [before God]

And never did We send any Prophet to any township but We afflicted its people with destitution (from Our blessings) and with tribulations so that they might grow humble (before the Almighty)

We have not sent unto a community any prophet but We inflicted the people thereof with tribulation (suffering, distress) and adversity, that per chance (or possibly) they might humble themselves

And We did not send a Prophet to a township but We seized its people with distress and hardship so that they might (wake from heedlessness and) be humble (invoking Us for forgiveness and turning to the truth.

And never did We send a Messenger to any land but that We seized its inhabitants with hardship, scarcity, adversity and suffering (due to belying and defying the Messenger) so that they might humble themselves

And We did not sent in a village/urban city from a prophet except We took its people with the misery/hardships , and the calamity/disastrous distress, maybe/perhaps they become humble and humiliate themselves

And to whichever community We have revealed a Nabi We have surely seized its people with hardship and ailment (to rid them of their egocentricity) so they might turn (to their essential reality) with sincerity and humbleness.

And We sent no Prophet unto any town (and they denied him), but We seized its people with suffering from extreme poverty (or loss in wealth) and loss of health and calamities, so that they might humiliate themselves (and repent to Allah)

And We sent not unto any town from (the category of) a Prophet — except (when) We had involved its people in sufferings and calamities (due to their open indifference to the teachings in Al-Kitab) — so that they may show humility (to the Divine Message)
