Why do their rabbis and scholars not forbid them to speak sinfully and consume what is unlawful? How evil their deeds are

Why do their rabbis and divines not forbid them to blaspheme or to practise what is unlawful? Evil indeed are their doings

The masters and their doctors prohibit them from speaking sin and eating unlawful things, - evil is what they have performed

If only their rabbis and scholars would stop them from speaking sinfully and making illegal profits. Their deeds are so evil!

Why do not their scholars and rabbis stop them from sinful talk and consuming bribes, bad is indeed what they used to fabricate.

Why do the masters and the rabbis not forbid them to utter sin, and consume the unlawful? Evil is the thing they have been working

Why is it that the masters self-dedicated to God and educating people, and the rabbis (teachers of law) do not forbid them from sinful utterances and consuming unlawful earnings? How evil indeed is what they have been contriving

Why do not forbid them, the people who are (apparently) attached to the Nourisher-Sustainer, and (are regarded as) scholars from their sinful utterance and their eating As-Suht? Indeed, evil (it is) what they had been planning

Why do the divines (i.e., spiritual masters) and rabbis abstain from forbidding them from their sinful speech and consumption of unlawful things? Certainly, it is most heinous what they are contriving (by abstaining from raising voices against evil)

If only the knowledgeable lord worshippers and the religious scholars forbid/prevent them from their saying the sin/crime and their eating the forbidden/possessions acquired through cheatery ; how bad (E) (is) what they were producing/manufacturing

Why don't the rabbis and the priests forbid them from their down-grading assertions and illicit earnings? Indeed condemnable is what they manufacture. (A great many religious leaders, rabbis, priests, monks, mullahs, yogis, and mystics devour the wealth of people deceptively, and hinder them from the Way of Allah (9:34))
