Quran 27 : 48

They were nine wicked men in town who had done nothing good in their lives

In the city was a gang of nine who made mischief in the land and did no good

There was in that city a gang of nine men who caused corruption and rebelled.

In the city were nine persons who made mischief in the land and didn’t reform.

And there were in the city nine persons who despoiled the land and reformed not

And there were in the city nine persons who despoiled the land and did not right

In the city, nine gang members created havoc in the land and would not change.

There were nine tribes in the city spreading evil without any reform in the land

And there were in the city nine persons who despoiled the land and did not right.

In the city there were nine people who were corrupting the land and did not reform

There were nine gangsters in the city who were wicked, and never did anything good.

And there in the city nine bands were spoiling the earth and they are not repairing.

And there were in the city nine persons who made mischief in the land and reformed not

There were nine men in the city who spread corruption in the land without making amends

There were in the city nine men who spread corruption in the land, and would not reform

There were in that city nine persons who spread disorder in the land, and did not reform

And there were nine clans in the town who caused corruption on earth and did not reform.

And there were in the city nine persons who made mischief in the land and did not act aright

In the town there was a band of nine men, who did evil in the land and nothing that was good

There were in the city nine people of a family, who do wrong in the land, and would not reform

And there were nine of a group in the City, who spread corruption in the land and rectified not

And in the town there were heads of nine clans who spread mischief in the land and did no good.

There were in the city 9 men (leaders) who made mischief in the land, and they would not reform.

Now in the city there were nine persons who did corruption in the land, and put not things right

There were in the city nine men of a family, who made mischief in the land, and would not reform

And there were nine persons in the city making mischief in the earth and did not like rectification.

And were in the city nine family heads they were spreading corruption in the land and not reforming

There was a gang of nine men in the city who would not comply but went around wreaking havoc.

There was a gang of nine persons in the city who caused trouble on earth and never improved matters.

And there were nine persons in the city who used to cause turmoil in the land and did not wish reform

And there were nine men in the city, who acted corruptly in the earth, and behaved not with integrity

And in the city there were nine persons working corruption in the land and not setting matters aright

There was a group of nine men in the city causing corruption in the land and not putting things right.

There was a gang of nine persons in the city who caused trouble on earth and never improved matters.

And (there) was in the city nine (men of) a clan who corrupted in the land and did not act righteously

And in the city were nine ruffians who were causing corruption in the land, and they were not reforming

Now there was a gang of nine leaders in the city who spread disorder in the land, and blocked all reform

There were nine persons in the city who caused corruption in the land, and did not bring about any reform

And they were nine heads of families in the city committing corruption in the land, and would not reform.

And there were in the city nine persons who committed excesses in the land and did not that which is right

And there were in the city a party of nine persons who made mischief in the land, and who would not reform

And there were nine persons in the city who used to make mischief on the earth and did not put things right

There were nine ringleaders in the city, causing disorder and corruption in the land and not setting things right

And there were in the city nine bands of men: they create mischief in the land and do not indulge in (any) reform

And there had been nine groups of persons in the city who make corruption in the earth and make not things right.

And there were in the city nine family heads causing corruption in the land and not amending [its affairs]

And in the City, there were Nine men of a family, who made mischief in the land, and would not correct (themselves)

Now there were nine ring-leaders in the city who created corruption in the land and never worked to set things right

And there were in the city nine ˹elite˺ men who spread corruption in the land, never doing what is right.

Now there were in the city nine men who were wont to commit deeds of depravity all over the land, and would not reform

And there were in the city nine men (from the sons of their chiefs), who made mischief in the land, and would not reform

And there were in the city nine of a leading family. They caused corruption to spread on earth, and they would not reform

And in the city/town were nine groups/tribes corrupting/disordering in the earth/Planet Earth, and they do not correct/repair

There were nine groups of people in that town. Each one was busy spreading corruption in the land instead of carrying out reforms

And there used to be in the city a clan of nine men who used to do corruption in the land and they did not use to make things right.
