The Prophet (ﷺ) used to like to start from the right side as far as possible in combing and in performing ablution.

Sahih al-Bukhari Book 77, Hadith 141

← Previous Hadith I used to comb the hair of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) during my periods.

Sahih al-Bukhari Book 77, Hadith 140 Next Hadith → The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "(Allah said), 'Every good deed of Adam's son is for him except fasting; it is for Me. and I shall reward (the fasting person) for it.' Verily, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk."
