“In black seed there is healing for every disease, except the Sam.” "Sam means death. And black seed is Shuwniz."

← Previous Hadith “You should eat the beneficial thing that is unpleasant to eat: Talbinah,” meaning broth. If any member of the family of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was sick, the cooking pot would remain on the fire until one of two things happened, either the person recovered or died.

Sunan Ibn Majah Book 31, Hadith 11 Next Hadith → “I heard Salim bin ‘Abdullah narrating from his father that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘You should eat this black seed, for in it there is healing from every disease, except the Sam (death).’”
