"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was brought some milk which was mixed with some water. On his right was a Bedouin and on his left was Abu Bakr. So he drank, then he gave it to the Bedouin and said: 'The right, then the right.'"

He said: There are narrations on this topic from Ibn 'Abbas, Sahl bin Sa'd, Ibn 'Umar, and 'Abdullah bin Busr.

This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

← Previous Hadith From his grandmother Kabshah who said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon me. He drank from a hanging water-skin while standing. So I went to its mouth and cut it off."

This Hadith is Hasan Sahih Gharib. Yazid bin Yazid bin Jabir is the brother of 'Adbur-Rahman bin Yazid bin Jabir. He died earlier than him.

Jami` at-Tirmidhi Book 26, Hadith 33 Next Hadith → That the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The one providing water for people is the last of them to drink."

He said: There is something on this topic from Ibn Abi Awfa.
