"The month which the Messenger of Allah most liked to fast was Shaban; indeed he used to join it to Ramadan."

She said: "The Messenger of Allah used to fast until we said: He is going to (continue to) fast, and he used not to fast until we said: He is not going to, and he did not fast for a whole month from the time he came to Al-Madinah, apart from Ramadan."'

Sunan an-Nasa'i Book 22, Hadith 260 Next Hadith → "The Messenger of Allah used to fast until we said: 'He will not break his fast.' And he used not to fast until we said: 'He will not fast.' And I never saw the Messenger of Allah fast more in any month than in Shaban."
