Anas b. Malik reported that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) used to seek refuge in Allah from such things as mentioned in the above-mentioned hadith and from 'miserliness" too.

Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) used to seek refuge (in Allah) from the evil of what has been decreed, from misery, from the mockery of (triumphant) enemies, and from severe calamity.
`Amr (one of the narrators) said in his narration: "Sufyan said: 'I fear I may have added one of them (the phrases)."
