'A'isha reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbidding (the preparation of Nabidh) in varnished jar, green pitcher, gourd, and hollow stump,

← Previous Hadith I met 'A'isha and asked her (about the utensils in which) Nabidh (may be prepared). She narrated to me that a group of 'Abd al-Qais came to Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) and asked: Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) about Nabidh. He (the Holy Prophet) forbade them to prepare Nabidh in varnished jar, hollow stumps and gourd and green pitcher.

Sahih Muslim Book 36, Hadith 49 Next Hadith → Ishaq b. Suwaid reported through the same chain of transmitters but for the difference that he substituted the word" gourd" for" waterskin" (meant for preserving wine).
