'Amir bin Shurahbil Ash-Sha'bi narrated that he heard Fatimah bint Qais--who was one of the first Muhajir women-- say: 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf proposed marriage to me, along with others of the Companions of Muhammad. And the Messenger of Allah proposed that I marry his freed slave, Usamah bin Zaid. I was told that the Messenger of Allah had said: 'Whoever loves me, let him love Usamah.' When the Messenger of Allah spoke to me I said: 'My affairs are in your hands; marry me to whomever you wish.' He said: 'Go to Umm Sharik.' Umm Sharik was a rich Ansari woman who used to spend a great deal in the cause of Allah, and she always had a lot of guests. I said: 'I will do that.' He said: 'Do not do that, for Umm Sharik has a lot of guests, and I would not like your Khimar to fall off, or your shins to become uncovered, and the people to see something of you that you do not want them to see. Rather go to your cousin (son of your paternal uncle) 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Umm Maktum, who is a man of Banu Fihr.' So I went to him."
Sunan an-Nasa'i Book 26, Hadith 42
Yahya related to me from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Safwan ibn
Abdullah ibn Safwan that it was said to Safwan ibn Umayya, "Whoever
does not do hijra is ruined." So Safwan ibn Umayya went to Madina and
slept in the mosque with his cloak as a pillow. A thief came and took
his cloak and Safwan grabbed hold of the thief and brought him to the
Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. The
Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said to
him, "Did you steal this cloak?" He said, "Yes." So the Messenger of
Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ordered that his hand
be cut off. Safwan said to him, "I did not intend this. It is his as
sadaqa." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him
peace, said, "Why didn't you do it before bringing him to me?"
Muwatta Malik Book 41, Hadith 30
Yahya related to me from Malik from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir and
from Salim ibn Abi'n-Nadr, the mawla of Umar ibn Ubaydullah that Amir
ibn Sad ibn Abi Waqqas heard his father ask Usama ibn Zayd, "Have you
heard anything from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and
grant him peace, about the plague?" Usama said, "The Messenger of
Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'The plague is a
punishment that was sent down on a party of the Banu Israil or whoever
was before them. When you hear of it in a land, do not enter it. If it
comes upon a land and you are in it, do not depart in flight from it.'
"
Malik said that Abu'n-Nadr said, "That is, do not depart
with no other intention but flight."
Muwatta Malik Book 45, Hadith 22
“When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
came to a sick person, he would make supplication for him, and would
say: Adhhibil-bas, Rabban-nas, washfi Antash-Shafi, la shifa’a illa
shifa’uka shifa’an la yughadiru saqama (Take away the pain, O Lord of
mankind, and grant healing, for You are the Healer, and there is no
healing but Your healing that leaves no trace of sickness).’”
Sunan Ibn Majah Book 31, Hadith 85
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever gives two kinds (of things or property) in charity for Allah's Cause,
will be called from the gates of Paradise and will be addressed, 'O slaves of Allah! Here is prosperity.'
So, whoever was amongst the people who used to offer their prayers, will be called from the gate of
the prayer; and whoever was amongst the people who used to participate in Jihad, will be called from
the gate of Jihad; and whoever was amongst those who used to observe fasts, will be called from the
gate of Ar-Raiyan; whoever was amongst those who used to give in charity, will be called from the
gate of charity." Abu Bakr said, "Let my parents be sacrificed for you, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! No distress
or need will befall him who will be called from those gates. Will there be any one who will be called
from all these gates?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "Yes, and I hope you will be one of them."
