Quran 8 : 52

Like Pharaoh's folk, and the people before him, who disbelieved in God's signs; God seized them because of their sins; God is strong, terrible in retribution

Like Pharaohs people and those that have gone before them, they rejected God's signs and God seized them for their sins. God is strong, and severe in punishment

Similar to the situation of Pharaoh’s people and those before them. They denied God’s signs, so God seized them for their sins. God is powerful and severe in penalty.

Like the behavior of the people of Pharaoh, and those before them; they rejected the signs of God, so God took them by their sins. God is Strong, severe in punishment.

They are like Pharaoh’s people and those before them who ignored God’s signs, so God punished them for their sins: God is strong and severe in His punishment

As was the wont of Pharaoh's people and those before them! they disbelieved in the signs of God, and God overtook them in their sins; verily, God is strong and keen to punish

The same happened to Pharaoh’s people and those before them: they rejected Allah’s signs, so Allah punished them for their sins. Allah is Strong, Severe in His punishment.

“Like the way of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They rejected the signs of God, and God punished them for their wrong doing, for God is strong and exact in punishment

Like Pharaoh's people and those before them: they suppressed the Truth in Allah's Verses/signs, and then Allah seized them for their sins. Allah is indeed strong, severe in punishment

Like the practice of the family of Pharaoh and those before them, they rejected the signs of Allah, so Allah seized them on account of their sins. Allah is strong, severe in punishment.

Like the custom of Pharaoh's people and those who were before them. They disbelieved in the signs of God, and God seized them in their sins; indeed, God is strong, severe in punishment.

Like Pharaoh's family and those who have gone before them, they disbelieved the signs of Allah. Therefore, Allah seized them in their sinfulness. Mighty is Allah and stern in retribution

(Their way is) as the way of Pharaoh's folk and those before them; they disbelieved the revelations of Allah, and Allah took them in their sins. Lo! Allah is Strong, severe in punishment

Such was the case with Pharaoh´s people and those before them. They rejected Allah´s Signs so Allah seized them for their wrong actions. Allah is Strong, Severe in Retribution.

In the manner of the people of Pharaoh and those before them, they disbelieved in Allah’s messages, so Allah punished them for their sins. Surely Allah is Strong, Severe in requiting

[Theirs was] like the way of the House of Pharaoh and those before them; they disbelieved in the signs of God; so God seized them for their sins. Truly God is Strong, severe in retribution

In the manner of people of Firawn (Pharaoh) and those before them they disbelieved in the signs of Allah, then Allah seized them for their sins. Undoubtedly Allah is Strong, Severe in torment

As like the Pharaoh’s folk behavior, and those before them. They disbelieved with Allah’s verses, so Allah took them with their misdeeds. Surely, Allah is Powerful, Severe in the punishment.

Their state is like that of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them who believed not in the signs of God: therefore God seized upon them in their sin! God is Mighty, severe in punishing

Like the precedent of Pharaoh’s clan and those who were before them, who defied Allah’s signs, so Allah seized them for their sins. Indeed Allah is all-strong, severe in retribution

In the case of Pharaoh´s house as well as those who lived before them, they disbelieved in God´s signs, so God seized them for their offences. God is Strong, Severe with punishment!

Like the behavior of the people of Pharaoh and of those preceding them, they rejected the signs of Allah. Allah punished them for their crimes. Allah is the Strongest and severe in punishment.

Their case is like that of the people of Pharaoh and those before them. They denied the signs of Allah and so Allah seized them for their sins. Surely Allah is All-Powerful, Stern in retribution

In like manner of the people of Pharaoh—and of those before them— they were ungrateful for the signs of God so God took them for their impieties. Truly, God is Strong, Severe in repayment.

(Their way is) like the way of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They rejected the signs of Allah; so Allah seized them for their sins. Surely, Allah is strong, severe in punishment

Their case is like that of Pharaoh's people, and of those before them, who denied the revelations of God, and were punished for their sins by God, and God is all powerful and Severe His punishment

Their fate is that of the people of Pharaoh and those before them—they all disbelieved in Allah’s signs, so Allah seized them for their sins. Indeed, Allah is All-Powerful, severe in punishment.

"(Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them: They rejected the Signs of Allah, and Allah punished them for their crimes: for Allah is Strong, and Strict in punishment

The manner of the people of Firawn and those before them was such that they had not believed in the signs of Allah so Allah caught them for their sins, Allah is certainly Strong, Severe in requiting (evil).

This is the same fate as that of Pharaoh's people and those who disbelieved before them. They rejected GOD's revelations, and GOD punished them for their sins. GOD is powerful, and His retribution is severe.

Like the ways of Firaun’s people, and those before them; they disbelieved in the signs of Allah - therefore Allah seized them on account of their sins; indeed Allah is Most Powerful, Severe in Punishing

Like are they unto the wont of the house of Fir'awn and those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah, wherefore Allah laid hold of them for their sins. Verily Allah is strong, Severe in retribution

Your condition will be like that of the people of Pharaoh and those before them, they disbelieved in the Signs of ALLAH; so ALLAH punished them for their sins. Surely, ALLAH is Powerful and Severe in punishing

Like the fate of the people of Pharaoh and those who were before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah so Allah seized them on account of their sins. Truly Allah is All-strong, Formidable in chastisement.

Their deeds are like those of Pharaoh´s people and those before them! They rejected the Signs (revelations) of Allah, and Allah overtook them in their sins. Verily, Allah is strong and severe in punishment

[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah , so Allah seized them for their sins. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and severe in penalty

Similar to the case of Pharaoh's house as well as those who lived before them, they disbelieved in Allah (God)'s signs, so Allah (God) seized them for their offences. Allah (God) is Strong, Severe with punishment!

In the manner of the people of Firon and those before them; they disbelieved in Allah's communications, therefore Allah destroyed them on account of their faults; surely Allah is strong, severe in requiting (evil)

"(Deeds) like those of the People of Firon (Pharaoh) and those before them: They rejected the Signs of Allah, and Allah punished them for their evil acts: For Allah is Strong (Qhavi), and Strict in punishment

Their behavior is similar (to that) of the people of Pharaoh, and those before them. They also rejected the Verses of Allah and Allah punished them for their sins. Surely, Allah is All-Mighty, Severe in punishment.

Like (the) way (of) people (of) Firaun and those who (were) from before them They disbelieved in (the) Signs (of) Allah so seized them Allah for their sins Indeed Allah (is) All-Strong (and) severe (in) the penalty

Like the situation of the followers of Fir’aun and those before them: they disbelieved in the Ayaat of Allah, so Allah seized them for their sins. Surely Allah is All-Powerful, very Severe in retribution

(Their ways are) like the ways of the followers of Pharaoh and those before them. They disbelieved in the Messages of Allah, so Allah seized them for their sins. Mighty is Allah and Severe in punishing (the evil done)

These have acted according to the wont of the people of Pharaoh, and of those before them, who disbelieved in the signs of God: Therefore God took them away in their iniquity; for God is mighty, and severe in punishing

The same thing happened to the people of Pharaoh and those who lived before them. They rejected the revelations of God and, because of their sins, His retribution struck them. God is All-powerful and stern in His retribution

As pharaoh's family's affairs/habits and those from before them, they disbelieved with God's verses/evidences , so God took/punished them because of their crimes, that God (is) strong/powerful strong (severe in) the punishment

Similar to the behaviour of the people of Firaun (Pharaoh), and of those before them; they rejected the Ayat (proofs, verses, etc.) of Allah, so Allah punished them for their sins. Verily, Allah is All-Strong, Severe in punishment

Their case is just like the nation of the pharaoh and others before them. They refused to believe the signs of Allah. Therefore, Allah took them to task for their sins. Indeed, Allah is very strong and severe in (inflicting) punishment

[To them shall happen.] the like of what happened to Pharaoh's people and those who lived before them: they denied the truth of God's messagesand so God took them to task for their sins. Verily, God is powerful, severe in retribution

As was the steadfast manner of the house of Firaawn (Pharaoh) and the ones who were even before them (who) disbelieved in the signs of Allah; so Allah took them (away) for their guilty (deeds). Surely Allah is Ever-Powerful, strict in punishment

Just as that which happened to the clan (the court and military aristocracy) of the Pharaoh, and those before them: they disbelieved in God’s Revelations, and so God seized them for their sins. Surely God is All-Strong, severe in retribution

Their state is like that of the clan of ‘Pharaoh’ and of those before them who give no credence to the Revelations of Allâh. Thus, Allâh had chastised them for their sins. Indeed, Allâh is All-Strong, and extremely severe in executing punishment.

The same [misfortune] happened to Pharaoh and his people as well as the previous [unjust] people as they chose to disregard the Lord’s revelations. God punished them for their sins as He is the Most Powerful and sever in punishment

(They were made aware of history but) they ended up like Pharaoh's people, and nations before them. They rejected Allah's Messages, kept trailing behind in the Permanent Values, hence, the Law of Requital seized them. Allah is Strong, Strict in Retribution

(The case of these disbelievers is also) like (that of) the people of Pharaoh and those who preceded them. They (too) denied the Revelations of Allah. So, Allah seized them (with torment) for their sins. Surely, Allah is Mighty, Severe in afflicting torment

Theirs is like the dynasty of the Pharaoh and of those before them... They denied the existence of Allah in His signs (the manifestations of His Names) so Allah seized them upon their error... Indeed, Allah is the Qawwi, and the Shadid al-Iqab (severe in enforcing the due consequence of an offence).

Their state is like that of the clan of Pharaoh and of those before them who persistently refused to Yield to what Allâh had revealed of the Knowledge of the truth. So Allâh had chastised them for their iniquitous and wicked deeds. Most certainly Allâh is All-Strong, and extremely severe in punishment.
