Quran 8 : 35

Their prayer at the House consists only of whistling and clapping: "Taste torment since you have disbelieved!"

Their prayer at the House is naught but whistling and clapping. So taste the punishment for having disbelieved

Their prayer at the House is nothing but whistling and clapping. So taste the punishment because you were kafir!

Their prayer at the House was nothing but whistling and clapping—so taste the punishment for your blasphemy

Their Prayer at the House is nothing but whistling and handclapping. Taste, then, this chastisement for your denying the truth

And their contact prayer at the Sanctuary was nothing but noise and aversion. Taste the retribution for what you have rejected.

Their prayers before the House are nothing but whistling and clapping. ‘So taste the punishment for your disbelief.’

Their prayers at the Sacred House are nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. So taste the punishment because of your denial

Their worship in the House of God has been no more than whistling and clapping. So they have to taste the punishment for disbelief

And their prayer near the House was not more than whistling and clapping. So, taste the punishment, because you used to disbelieve

And their prayer before the House is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands; taste then the chastisement, for you disbelieved

And their prayer at the House is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. Taste, then, the chastisement, because you disbelieved

And their prayer at the Sacred House is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. 'Taste then the punishment because you disbelieved.

And their prayer at the Sacred House is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. `Taste then the punishment because you disbelieved.

And their prayer at the Holy House is nothing but whistling and clapping. Then taste the torment now, the recompense of their infidelity.

Their prayers before the House are nothing but whistling and clapping. 'So taste the punishment for your persistent denial of the truth'.

And their prayer near the House was nothing but screaming and clapping, so taste the punishment on account of having rejected (the truth).

And their prayer before the House is nothing but whistling and clapping. Taste then the punishment; for, you have been suppressing the Truth

And their worship near the house (Kaaba) is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands, so taste the punishment because you did not believe.

And their prayer at the House is nothing but a whistling and a clapping of hands -- therefore taste you now the chastisement for your unbelief

Their prayer at the House was naught but whistling and hand clapping! Therefore, (it is said to them) Taste of the doom because you disbelieved

And their mandatory prayer in the house (Ka’aba) was nothing but whistling and clapping, so taste the punishment for what you used to disbelieve.

Their prayers at the Sacred House are nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. ‘Taste then the scourge, because you disbelieved.‘

Their worship at the (holy) House (of Allah) consists of nothing more than whistling and hand clapping. Now, taste the punishment you used to deny

Their formal prayer at the House had been nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. So experience the punishment because you had been ungrateful.

Their prayer at the House (the Ka’bah at Makkah) is nothing but whistling and hand-clapping. So taste the punishment for what you used to disbelieve.

And their prayers around the house was nothing but whistling and clapping. Therefore taste the punishment because of all that you used to disbelieve.

And their prayer near the Kaa’bah is nothing except whistling and clapping; "So now taste the punishment - the result of your disbelief."

And their worship at the (holy) House is naught but whistling and hand-clapping. Therefore (it is said unto them): Taste of the doom because ye disbelieve

Their Prayer at the House (in the Sacred Mosque) is nothing but whistling and hand-clapping. Then, taste the punishment because you persistently disbelieve

Their (unbelievers) prayer at the mosque is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. We shall tell them, "Suffer torment for your disbelief."

Their prayer at the House (of Allah) is only whistling and clapping of hands: (And its only answer can be), "You taste the Penalty because you lied."

And their (so-called) Prayer at the House of Allah (Ka‘ba) is nothing more than whistling and clapping hands. So taste the torment because you used to disbelieve

And their prayers at the House/Home was not except whistling by mouth and echoing/prolonging/clapping ,so taste/experience the torture with what you were disbelieving

Their prayer at the House (of Allah) is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands: (Its only answer can be), "Taste ye the penalty because ye blasphemed."

Their prayer at the Sacred House is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. Now, therefore, taste the chastisement for your persistent and purposeful denial of the Truth.

Their Salat (prayer) at the House (of Allah, i.e. the Kabah at Makkah) was nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. Therefore taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve

And in no way is their prayer at the Home anything except a whistling and a clapping of hands. So, taste the torment for that you have disbelieved (Literally: you were disbelieving)

And their prayer at the house of God is no other than whistling through the fingers and clapping of the hands - "Taste then the torment, for that ye have been unbelievers."

Their prayer at the ‘Sacred House’ is nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. Then, taste the chastisement because of the indiscriminate and excessive indulgences in disbelief.

and their prayers before the Temple are nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. Taste then, [O unbelievers,] this chastisement as an outcome of your persistent denial of the truth

Their Contact Prayers (Salat) at the shrine (Ka`bah) were no more than a mockery and a means of repelling the people (by crowding them out). Therefore, suffer the retribution for your disbelief.

Their prayer (introspection) at the House (Baytullah) is none other than whistling and handclapping (externalized methods of worship taught by their forefathers)... So taste the suffering for denying the Truth!

What is their worship at the House of Allah but whistling and clapping? Therefore it is said to them, "Taste of the Retribution for your rejection of the Truth." (Any people who plunge in ritualistic worship, trail behind in action and incur suffering)

And their Salat in the vicinity of The House remains nothing except emission of sound (with no sincerity, devotion or reverence) and placement of hands in various positions (without being submissive in humility). So taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve

(How can they be the trustees of the Holy Mosque as) their prayer at the House is nothing but (sacrilegious activities like) whistling and clapping of hands. (O disbelievers! you asked for punishment) therefore suffer the punishment (at the Battle of Badr) on account of your disbelief

As to what they consider it worshipping, it is nothing more than [making senseless noises by] whistling and clapping of hands (like some churches of our time who have forgotten how Jesus uses to pray [see Matthew and consider singing and dancing and clapping of hands as the acts of worship!] Therefore, taste your punishment as a result of what you deny
