Quran 8 : 25

And fear a trial which shall surely not smite in particular the evildoers among you; and know that God is terrible in retribution

And fear a trial not which will afflict those who do wrong among you exclusively And know that Allah (is) severe (in) the penalty

And beware of a scourge that shall not fall only on the wrongdoers from among you, and know well that Allah is severe at punishmen

And beware of a punishment which shall not visit the wrongdoers among you exclusively, and know that Allah is severe in retribution

And beware of a corruption which will not only afflict those who do wrong amongst you, and know that Allah is severe in punishment.

And beware of a trial which may not afflict only those of you in particular who do wrong. And know that Allah is severe in punishment

And fear an affliction which may not smite those of you in particular who are unjust; and know that Allah is severe in requiting (evil)

And be cautious of a trial that does not exclusively happen to those who did wrong among you. And know that God is severe in punishment.

Be Godfearing of a test which will not light on those of you, particularly, who did wrong. And know that God is, truly, Severe in repayment.

And guard against the mischief that will not only bring punishment to the wrong-doers among you. Know well that Allah is severe in punishment

And fear tumult or oppression, which affecteth not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong: and know that Allah is strict in punishment

And beware of an affliction that will not smite exclusively those among you who have done wrong. Know that God is severe in exacting retribution

And beware of an affliction which will surely not smite exclusively those among you who have done wrong. And know that God is Severe in requiting

And show piety of an infatuation will not only inflict those who oppressed from you exclusively; and know that Allah is severe in the punishment.

And guard yourselves against an affliction which may not smite those of you exclusively who are unjust; and know that Allah is Severe in requiting

And remain fearing that calamity which will never fall exclusively upon those among you who do wrong. And know that severe is the torment of Allah.

And be afraid of temptation: the evil doers among you will not be the only ones on whom it will light: And know ye that God is severe in punishment

And beware of an affliction which will surely not smite exclusively those among you who have done wrong. And know that ALLAH is Severe in requiting

And guard against the Fitnah which affects not exclusively those of you who transgressed, and beware that Allah is very Strict in retribution

And fear the turmoil which will certainly not fall only upon a few selected unjust people among you; and know that Allah’s punishment is severe

Do your duty lest dissension will not only strike those of you who do wrong. Know that Allah (God) is Severe in punishment. The Struggle Part 9 180

And guard yourselves against an affliction which will not fall exclusively on those who are unjust among you, and know that Allah is severe in requiting.

And guard yourselves against a chastisement which cannot fall exclusively on those of you who are wrong-doers, and know that Allah is severe in punishment

Guard yourselves against temptation.¹ The wrongdoers among you are not the only men who will be tempted; and know that God‘s punishment is stern

And fear mischief which don’t affect particularly those of you who do wrong (but may afflict good and bad people), and know that Allah is severe in punishment.

Guard yourselves against discord among yourselves so that it will not mislead anyone of you, especially the unjust, and know that God's retribution is most severe

And protect yourselves against a temptation which will definitely not afflict in particular the ones who did injustice among you; and that Allah is strict in punishment

And beware and guard yourselves against a trial that will surely not smite exclusively those among you who are engaged in wrongdoing; and know that God is severe in retribution

And safeguard yourselves against tribulation; it surely will not affect only those who have wronged their souls among you and know that Allah is Formidable in the chastisement.

And fear temptation (or trial, chastisement, oppression, discord, chaos) which falls not exclusively on those of you who have done wrong; but know that Allah is severe in punishment

Beware of an affliction which will definitely not smite exclusively the ones of you who go on sinning deliberately. And know that Allâh is extremely severe in executing punishment.

Beware of a tribulation that may not be limited to the wrongdoers among you. Know that Allah is strict in retribution. (There is a strong link between individual and collective good)

And fear the affliction (and retribution), which affects not only those of you in particular, who do wrong: (But also the innocent and weak), and know that Allah is strict in punishment

And beware of that temptation to evil which does not befall only those among you who are bent on denying the truth, to the exclusion of others; and know that God is severe in retribution

And fear (and avoid a) test/torture (that) strikes/hits (E) especially/specifically those who caused injustice/oppression from you, and know that God (is) strong (severe in) the punishment

Fear the affliction _ (a temptation and a trial) _ which will not strike only just the evil doers among you. Be aware that Allah is certainly very (swift and) severe in (inflicting) punishment

And fear the Fitnah (affliction and trial, etc.) which affects not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong (but it may afflict all the good and the bad people), and know that Allah is Severe in punishment

Protect yourselves from a calamity, which not only strikes the wrongdoers (but also the good among that community)... And know well that Allah is the Shadid al-Iqab (severe in enforcing the due consequence of an offence).

And guard against an affliction which surely will not afflict only those of you in particular who have acted unjustly (but it will involve others also who are inclined towards them); and know that Allah is Severe in requiting

Beware of an affliction which will not smite exclusively the ones of you who have voluntarily and consciously abandon the Full Knowledge of the Truth in favour of their own whims. And know that Allâh is extremely severe in punishment.

And fear the plague which will not afflict exclusively those who are the tyrants amongst you (but its victims will also include those who are accomplices in tyranny or who remain indifferent to it). And bear in mind that Allah is Severe in inflicting torment

Raise against that kind of collective sins [which is committed by the society as a whole and not a person (such as the passage of those “civil laws” which contradict the Divine laws,...] which its punishment is not limited to those who commit it [but will afflict the whole society.] Know that God subjects the guilty ones to the most sever kind of punishment
