Quran 74 : 45

We plunged in with the plunger

We plunged with those who plunged

And we joked with those who joked,

and we used to wade with the waders

and we plunged along with the plungers

“We talked [in vain] with gossipers.

And we have been wading with the waders

"We blundered with the blunderers.

We speculated along with the speculators

We speculated along with the speculators

We used to gossip along with the gossipers

we used to talk falsehood with vain talkers

“But we used to speak vainly with vain people

We indulged and persisted in useless disputes

And we used to indulge with those who indulge

And we indulged in vain talk with vain talkers

And we used to indulge with those who indulged.

And we were discoursed, with the discoursing ones.

We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders

"But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers

And we plunged into vain disputes with vain disputers

We used to indulge in vain disputes along with others.

but we did plunge into discussion with those who plunged

busy doing evil and friends of those who were frivolous.

We engaged in vain discourse with those who engaged in i

we indulged with others [in mocking the believers]

And we used to indulge in vain talk with the vain talkers

“We joined those who were mocking at religion.”

and we engaged in vain discourse with those who do the same

"And we used to participate with those who spoke falsehood."

and we waded in vain disputes, with the fallacious reasoners

`And we indulged in idle talk with those who indulge therein

And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate

And we used to wade with the waders, (i.e., wade in vaintalk)

We used to indulge ˹in falsehood˺ along with others,

and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk

“And we indulged (in egotistic pleasures) with those who indulged!”

`And we indulged in vain talk along with those who indulged therein

we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them

And we were engaging in conversation with the engaging in conversation

and we indulged (in mocking at the truth) along with those who indulged

We used to indulge excessively into vain disputes with vain disputers.

"And we used to speak idle-talk with those who spoke against Truth

"And we were among those who used to say what they did not do."

And we used to indulge in objectionable talk with those who indulge therein;

“And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.”

"But we used to indulge in vain talks in company of other people;"

and we used to involve ourselves in idle talk with those involved in idle talk,

And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it]

"And we used to talk falsehood (all that which Allah hated) with vain talkers

And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses

And we used to plunge into vain discourse with those who plunged into vain discourse,

"We used to plunge (in falsehood and sin) together with those who plunged (in it)

and we used to talk uselessly alongwith those who indulge in senseless talhead of state

"(Instead), we joined those who indulged in idle prattle (against the truth)."

And we had been ones who engage in idle talk along with the ones who engage in idle talk.

And we indulged in vain activities with those who had cast themselves into vain activities

"And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses

And we used to indulge in vain discussions with those who indulged [in mocking the believers]

and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it

and we used to enter into (false and useless) conversation with those conversing (falsely and uselessly)
