Then he thought (a little)

Thereafter he looked (round)

He then dared to lift his gaze

Then, he looked around (haughtily)

Then he considered [again]

Then he looked (to those around him,

Then he pondered (over his scheme again)

Being upset about his failure, he looked around

and then he looks [around for new arguments]

Then he re-contemplated ˹in frustration˺,

May he be condemned again for his schemes! He looked around

Then he looked about (to give his calculations and planning another thought)

Then he looked (all around to create a psychological atmosphere through his expressions)

Then he looked around (in the manner of one who will decide on a matter about which he is asked)
